Chapter 54 - The Dragon’s Anger

The Pilot of the Palace’s jet who was dragged in the nearby mountainside after being hit several times by the four men, leaving him almost lifeless, tried to crawl back to the heliport. Before he reaches the place, one of the guards who just arrived, noticed that no guards were around in the heliport. Wondering where the guards are, he walked around the premises, and there he saw the pilot crawling.

“What happened to you Captain?” the guard asked astounded. Their palace’s jet pilot seemed to be brutally hurt. His whole face is bloody including some part of his other body.

The pilot was not able to reply immediately, he was too weak to open his mouth but he tried his best to speak. “H..e.lp, help our Prince..ss,” After saying those words the pilot already laid lifeless on the ground.

Using his walkie-talkie, the guard called their head guard and told him the situation. Thereafter, a group of guards came at the heliport and then an ambulance after a second.

After seeing the situation, the Head Guard went hurriedly to the throne’s hall to report to the King.

“What? What do you mean? Our first Princess Shelyca has been kidnapped?” Astonished and then agitated, King Andreios exclaimed. He stood up with his hormones, raging.

“I am afraid, Yes, my King. Our Pilot right now is in a serious situation and per our guard who saw him crawling back into the heliport before he lost his consciousness, he was able to tell the guard to help the Princess.” The Head Guard reiterated what he said in a low and sad voice.

“Who did this? Do you have a hint or a lead?” King Andreios asked again.

The Head Guard shook his head. “None yet King Andreios, but our men are already in a thorough inspection of the place. All our eight guards on duty at the heliport were dead. They were shot with silver bullets. “

King Andreios cursed in anger. “We need to know who did this. Summoned the messenger to come, we need to inform Prince Dareon about First Princess Shelyca’s situation now.”

Using the last helicopter of the Palace, the Head messenger, who at the same time is a pilot, drove the jet going to the Thregonad Village to inform their Prince Dareon.

As he landed on the Thregonad’s land, the pilot was surprised in seeing the destruction in the premises and the people there all wearing white clothes, with a lot of lined-up rolled bodies in white sheets. The pilot immediately alighted and looked for their Prince Dareon, who happened to be the Sultan or Chieftain in this place.

When he saw Dareon, he bowed his head and spoke with respect in his voice, “Our Prince Dareon, I don’t know yet what happened to your village, but I can guess that terrible things might have happened. I am sorry too if I need to give you a terrible news too,” he spoke softly.

Upon hearing the Palace messenger’s words, Dareon furrowed and sternly asked. “Speak what you need to say now. What happened?”

“Our Prince Dareon, our First Princess Shelyca has been kidnapped while on her way going here. We found our Pilot almost dead and all our heliport guards were dead.” With shaking voice the Head Messenger of the Palace of the Kingdom of Gold Valley relayed to Dareon the bad news.

Dareon’s heart tumbled and he suddenly wanted to shout in anger. “Who did that to my wife?!” His voice was shaking because of too much anger. He could not contain to blame himself for leaving her in the Palace. He could not imagine what he will do if something happened to his dear wife.
“Our Prince, we are still investigating, as of the moment we do not know yet who kidnapped our Princess Shelyca.” The Head Messenger answered again softly.

“Tell the King, I have a hint who kidnapped my wife. The same mastermind who attacked us here today killing so many of my people. I will just settle all of this and I will fly to your Kingdom, right away.” Dareon’s voice faltered. His heart, felt so heavy knowing that Shelyca is in danger.

“Yes, our Prince, I will inform the King. I need to go now and I am really sorry for what happened to your village.” The Head Messenger of the Palace bowed his head and then left after excusing himself.

Dareon could not look at his dead people rolled in white sheets. He is a stone-cold dragon, but he was teary-eyed as he gave his blessings to the dead and ordered them to be burned. As the dead bodies were burning, Dareon gathered all his remaining warriors and told them about Princess Shelyca.

Before finally flying, Dareon swings his hands around to cover his village with a safety net kind of magic. At least, beasts on the land like centaurs and wolves or even those pirates that are not their allies, could not enter his village.

He then shapeshifted to his dragon form and flew to the Kingdom of Gold Valley. In his Dragon mind, he promised to do everything to get his wife back and kill that arrogant Duke of Sussex.
