Chapter 41- The Duke’s and Princess Trisha’s Plans

The Duke arrived at the Mambu Shine Resort a few minutes after his call with that someone on the phone. He considered his meeting today as a very urgent one. Things concerning Princess Shelyca are always urgent for him.

When he entered the resort, he was told by the receptionist that his visitors are inside the special, mini function hall that he reserved for today.

“Thank you for the information.” Duke Simon replied without any smile on his face. Nonetheless, the receptionist nodded with a smile and said, “You are welcome Sir.”

It was just a brief meeting with that group of men that he contracted to do a very delicate job for him. After thirty minutes, they had a well-done deal already.

The men left with a hurried act but with happiness on their faces. “It would be a lot of money for us if we will be successful on this assignment,” said the leader of the group who had a meeting with Duke Simon just a while ago.

At the Kingdom of Gold Valley, Delta Gano, as ordered by the King and Queen, has been Princess Trisha’s bodyguard almost twenty-four hours a day. He was even assigned to a new room just adjacent to the Second Princess’ room.

Although irritated with the new set-up, Princess Trisha cannot do anything but accept the said arrangement as ordered by his adoptive parents. She committed a mistake, so she needed to accept the consequences thereof. In her heart, however, she sometimes felt a warm touch especially every time she would notice Delta Gano’s affectionate look at her.

Obliging happily to the King’s and Queen’s wishes, Delta Gano’s every day was filled with excitement and happiness. Being beside Princess Trisha every day, made his heart swell with such joy that only a man like him who truly loved a woman would understand.

Tonight, Delta Gano followed Princess Trisha as she walked to the Palace’s garden. He could tell that the Princess wanted to think, as she usually goes to the garden when she wanted to contemplate on something.

“Delta Gano, please do not come near me when I am inside the garden already. I wanted to be alone.” Princess Trisha suddenly warned the Delta warrior, in a soft voice. Somehow, she does not want to offend the man. The fact remains that he is still her mate, even though he wanted to deny it.

Delta Gano agreed. “It is fine with me Princess Trisha as long as my eyes can still reach you with my glances,” he replied humbly. Seeing her would be enough for him in the meantime.

So, as told, Delta Gano put some distance between them and the Princess. He sat on the wooden garden beach just a little away from the entrance of the garden, while Princess Trisha was sitting on the Canopy swing at the garden’s far end side.

He could tell that the Princess was in deep thoughts. Whatever she was thinking at that moment, Delta Gano felt a certain kind of pang that suddenly clouded his instinct. Princess Trisha might be planning on something and as his twenty-four hours bodyguard, even her plans should not pass him, without him noticing it. He just hoped that the Second Princess was not planning something that might eventually lead to her total downfall. He knew for a fact of her great desire to be in the place of the First Princess, which he even supported because of his love for her; maybe because of the mate bond that they had.

While having their breakfast, Princess Shelyca asked her husband if she will be allowed to teach some of the Thregonad women who will be interested to learn how to use a bow and arrow. The Dragon Chieftain was somehow fascinated with her suggestion.

“Of course; as the Chieftain’s wife, you have all the right to do that. I am giving you my consent to start it anytime you wanted.” Dareon’s voice was gentle and encouraging and Princess Trisha felt so touched by his reaction.

She returned his consent and encouragement with much gratitude. She approached him and even gave him a quick peck on his right cheek. “Thank you my Dragon Chieftain,” she murmured with a wide smile on her lips.

Dareon smiled back and then grabbed her all of a sudden. He let her sit on his lap and in front of their cook, Dareon gave her a truly hot kiss; hotter than the coffee that has been served to them.

The cook giggled. She could tell how much their Dragon Chieftain adores his wife. Well, she could not blame their Chieftain, Princess Shelyca is such a woman to behold as her beauty elucidates, both her inside and outside.

“Wife apology, every time you touch me, or even when you are just nearby, I could not control myself not to taste you.” He grinned as he caressed her hips gently.

“Naughty, you always seemed to have not gotten enough of me,” she touched the tip of his nose and kissed it lightly afterward.

“You are right, I won’t get tired of making love to you,” he whispered near her right ear that brought such electricity into Princess Shelyca’s whole body.

She tried to get up, afraid that the simple kiss that she gave her to thank him would end up again in a hot love-making inside their bedroom.

But Dareon did not allow her to stand up. “Not yet wife. I am still enjoying having you in my lap,” he whispered again and pulled her closer to him that made her feel that thing in between his groin that confirmed her fear a while ago.

“Wife, let us take a little more rest inside our bedroom,” he murmured again while his puppy eyes looked at her with such intense desire.

“Dareon, your soldiers are waiting for you in the training field already, remember?” she whispered back trying to convince him not to continue whatever he is thinking, but he always has his ways of getting what he wanted.

Instead of replying to her, he gently brushed her bosom with his lips and caressed her hips. “My soldiers outside can wait, but the most valiant soldier inside could not wait any longer,” he murmured again and then lifted her up on his two strong arms.

Their cook was left in the dining area, watching their backs as they left and looking at their unfinished breakfast. She sighed with envy in her heart for Princess Shelyca. How she wished, her husband would be as sweet and hot as their Dragon Chieftain.
