Chapter 60 - Dragon Land

“Wife, this is my real world; this small castle is the Master Dragon’s Palace while that biggest Palace is where the Dragon Lord stayed.

Princess Shelyca smiled and nodded. “Your Dragon Land is like heaven floating into the sky on top of the highest mountain. No one can ever come here except Dragons or maybe humans in its most modern aircraft.”

“Yeah, the Palace itself looks like a floating palace, but it has a foundation from the top of the mountain,” Dareon explained grinning. Dragons are very creative in making their land something unique and unreachable by ordinary humans. Without wings, it will be difficult to reach the Dragon land from the tip of the mountain.

When the Dragon Lord arrived at the Dragon Land, he immediately summoned Dareon to visit him on his Lord’s Throne. He found out that Dareon brought the First Princess of the Kingdom of Gold Valley in the Dragon Land.

“Please stay here my love, I was summoned by the Dragon King. He just arrived from the Kingdom of Sussex. I will not be long, okay,” Dareon said after giving her wife a quick kiss on her lips.”

“Go hubby, I will wait here. I actually feel sleepy, so I will sleep while you are away.” She smiled as she walked him through the door.

Before going to their bedroom, Princess Shelyca went to the veranda and she was in awe when she noticed that their small castle was really like a flowing castle. She could see clouds so near as she looked up and then when she glanced down, she saw the land and structures just like miniatures. She inhaled the fresh air and walked towards their bedroom.

Inside the throne’s hall, the Dragon Lord who was sitting on his Lord’s throne, motioned for Dareon to come nearer, stood up, and opened his arms for him.

Dareon swiftly made his strides and plunged himself into his adopted father’s embrace.

“I am so proud of you my son,” the Dragon Lord said as he warmly embraced Dareon.

“Thank you, my father, I hope the Duke will finally stop now.”

“He will, his King father guaranteed us that he will do everything to avoid conflict with us again.”

“Dareon, let us carry out your Dragon Wedding here in the Dragon Land.” The Dragon Lord suggested with a wide smile. “It is time, I believe,” he added.

Dareon nodded and warmly smiled too. “I will be so glad Father to have the second wedding here. The problem is, the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley had arranged our second wedding under the Lycan traditions a month ago, which did not push through however because of the Duke’s threat. I guess we need to inform them first or how about we visit them and then after the wedding there; we will carry the King and the Queen going here for our Dragon wedding?” he suggested as he looked at the Dragon Lord who quickly nodded.

“That would be highly agreeable Dareon. So let us prepare and surprise the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Gold Valley. We will fly together with at least three of our best warriors who would bring our offered gifts of tons of gold for them.”

Dareon grinned; “Do we still need to offer golds like our dowry for the bride if she is mine already?”

The Dragon Lord laughed heartily. “Of course Dareon, I don’t want to be known as a stingy Dragon Lord.”

And so, two days after, five dragons flew into the sky from the Dragon Land; the Dragon Lord, Dareon, the reddish one with a beautiful Princess on his back while the three brownish dragon warriors have a sock of gold on each of their backs. The black and mighty Dragon Lord led their flying.

The constituents of the Kingdom of Gold Valley were so amazed to see five mighty dragons landed into their Kingdoms. More so, the King and the Queen were stunned to see tons of gold offered to them by the Dragon Lord.

“King Andreios and Queen Lusica, please accept these humble gifts from the Dragon land. We truly appreciate that your First Princess had wedded our master Dragon and of course to be wedded again under the Lycan traditions and the Dragon Customs.” The Dragon Lord said as the three dragon warriors put down in front of their thrones the tons of gold that they carried on their backs

King Andreios stood from his throne and smiling replied, “That is so generous of you Dragon Lord. We accept your gifts gratefully and further accept your proposal for a Lycan Wedding and then a Dragon Wedding thereafter between our First Princess Shelyca and your Dragon Master Dareon.”

Princess Shelyca and Dareon who stood side-by-side with hand clasped smiled at its other. The love they have for each other shone so brightly in their eyes. At last, there will be no more hindrance for their perfect Lycan Wedding and Dragon Wedding too.
