Chapter 48- Escape of Second Princess Trisha
I
While everyone was shocked, Princess Trisha shifted into her wolf-form, wiggled, and like a flash, ran outside of the palace. Dareon tried to chase the she-wolf but being in his human form, it will be hard for him to run as speedy as that of the wolf.
The head of the soldiers and some strong warriors immediately shifted into their wolves’ forms upon order of King Andreios and they hunted the wolf of the Second Princess.
Dareon returned to the palace frustrated. He was not able to catch Second Princess Trisha. She was damned fast and she just disappeared in the dark. With her wolf’s dark brown furs, her fur’s color blended into the darkness, making her almost invisible in one’s eyes.
When Dareon entered the Ball hall, only the King and Queen, Princess Shelyca, and some soldiers were around. With fast strides, Dareon was able to come near her wife in a millisecond. He wrapped her in his embrace, so tight that Princess Shelyca was not able to move.
“Hubby, I cannot breath,” she murmured letting him understand to loosen his embrace a little.
“Sorry wife, I just can’t help it. I was damned worried and I would not forgive myself if something happened to you a while ago,” he whispered back.
“Dareon, accept our gratitude for saving our daughter’s life for the second time.” King Andreios after a while said.
Removing his arms around his wife; Dareon faced his father-in-law and smiled at the King of the Kingdom of Gold Valley. “There is nothing to thank for King Andreios, Princess Shelyca is my wife, as such, it is my main responsibility to protect her.”
King Andreios smiled back with such warmth and sincerity. “We are grateful that our daughter married a man like you Dareon. We will not fear even if we are not around to protect her; especially, I as his father.”
“Thank you for the trust, King Andreios, and Queen Lusica. It made me more confident that there is no need for my wife to meet her mate because I am enough for her, even if I am not her wolf-mate.” Dareon said bowing. While vowing his head, Dareon did not see when Princess Shelyca winked at her parents who looked at her inquisitively.
“Dareon, I am not so keen on finding my wolf-mate because I have you already hubby.” She smiled at him and leaned on his shoulder.
Dareon smiled and kissed her forehead, then he murmured, “I will toss your wolf-mate into the ocean, should I know who he is.”
Princess Shelyca laughed sheepishly when she heard what he said. “It’s alright hubby; you will never know who he is because I will not accept any werewolf mate anyway.”
Dareon grinned happily at her and held her closer to him.

The search for Second Princess Trisha continued. King Andreios summoned Delta Gano to interrogate him. He was her assigned bodyguard for twenty-four hours, how come he was not able to control her with her plans.
“Delta Gano, what happened? Where were you when Second Princess Trisha tried to kill our daughter?” with narrowed eyes King Andreios asked the Delta Warrior whose head was bent down, feeling full of shame.
Slowly, Delta Gano looked up at the King and spoke shakily. “My King I never thought that Second Princess Trisha would do such a thing to her sister, First Princess Shelyca. I did not even notice in her actions that she was planning something against Princess Shelyca during that masquerade ball.”
“You disappoint me so much, Delta Gano. I, therefore, command you to find the Second Princess, bring her to me alive within two days otherwise you will forever suffer inside the dungeon!” The King’s voice was trembling with anger and Delta Gano vowed his head so low and nodded.
“Yes, my King. I promise to bring to you Second Princess Trisha.” Delta Gano answered. In his mind, he knows that it will be easy for him to find her. She is his mate, her smell could easily travel down his nostrils and the wind will just lead him to her. But would he be willing to sacrifice his mate, the woman, whose name was already engraved in his heart?
Delta Gano started his search for Second Princess Trisha but in his mind; he was still undecided what to do with her, the moment he found her.
He transformed into his brownies wolf and ran into the woods. Delta Gano knew a place where Second Princess Trisha usually hides when she was just a teen; a place where they made love several times, hidden from the eyes of everyone. The place became their secret sanctuary.
Delta Gano’s wolf ran like a flash, no one saw him as his wolf sprinted and then eventually entered the forest, leading to the mountainside where the secret cave; their love nest can be found.
Nearing the mountainside, Delta Gano’s wolf could not smell yet the rose scent of his mate. His wolf howled so loud with frustration. Where is Second Princess Trisha?
The wolf of the Delta Warrior entered into their secret cave. He ran inside it until he reached its end. The werewolf was surprised to see the secret passage leading to another cave, smaller this time. Without hesitation, he ran again, following the scent that slowly filled his nostrils until the werewolf reached the exit of the smaller cave. The werewolf was amazed to see a scenic view; from afar he saw a seashore where different types of boats; ships and even yachts were docked.
Delta Gano shifted into his human form, opened the small bag that he brought through his teeth, and got his clothes and some money in it. He could still sniff the scent of Second Princess Trisha and he is confident that she just passed by in this place and most probably inside of one of the vessels, docked in the seashore that he is gazing now.
At that moment, at the entrance of one of the passenger ships, a woman of Muslim attire entered the ship. She is wearing a long black dress and a black hijab covering her whole face except her eyes. She mingled herself with other women, wearing the same clothing. She is in the seashore of Sussex, where a part of the land, or at least one point four percent (1.4%) of the population, comprises people with Islam religion.
After a while, the sound of the ship’s signal that it is already about to leave the shoreline has been heard all over.
Delta Gano ran faster trying to reach the shoreline on time before the ship could leave.
