"Her again"
"It appears that a simple warning wasn't enough to keep them away" Mr.Black said.
"How should I punish her? " Leo asked Mr. Black.
" Maybe you can finally put an end to her miserable life" Mr. Black casually said.
" No, that punishment is too light, but I am willing to give her a lighter punishment as a reward for doing me a favor" He said referring to Lia loosing her job.
" What will it be? "
" Think, black" Leo said.
" Oh, that reminds me, she is playing the female lead of a film production you invested in"
" I don't invest in such nonsense"
" I invested in it, when you left me in charge, it looked promising"
" Don't waste my money on such ever again. What do you suggest?"
" I can terminate the contract as long as Miss Griffon takes the part of the female lead"
" Also give them a warning to the entertainment industry. Unless they want to be destroyed, that woman should never play an important role. Leave"
" Yes sir"
On Mr. Black's way out he bumped into Lia.
"Sorry" Lia apologized.
Mr. Black ignored her and continued walking. Lia ran to his front and he frowned.
"I said, I was sorry" Lia said. She didn't get why he was so cold to her.
"Such an unimportant occurrence doesn't require an apology"
"I was apologizing not only for bumping into you, but also if I offended you before" Mr. Black ignored her once again and continued walking.
"Why do you hate me?" Lia asked him.
Mr. Black stopped in his tracks and turned to face Lia.
"I don't hate Mrs. King, however, if she intends to keep secrets, then I will avoid her like a plague" Mr. Black said.
" But I'm not keeping any secrets," Lia said confused.
" If I'm not mistaken, not up to a month ago Miss. Anderson shared a bed with another man"
Mr. Black knew very well that it was Lia's private life and it happened before she got married, but he needed her to stop bothering him.
" How did you.....? "
"That's not even the least of my concerns right now, Tell me who you really are"
"You already know who I am"
"Aside from your name, I know nothing about you"
"Fine, My name is Lia Anderson. I'm the daughter of Ben Anderson. I'm..."
"How long have you known him?"
"Of course for my whole life, he is my father after all"
"We'll see about that, now if you would excuse me I have important matters to take care of" Mr. Black didn't believe Lia was the real one.
Lia stood in that same spot for a while. Her mind couldn't register the smell of food burning.
Leo got there in time to remove what was left of the food.
" Lia, are you alright?"
"No, Everything is fine"
" What's occupying your mind? it looks like you completely forgot about the food"
" Food?... My food" Lia ran to the kitchen.
The pot had already been removed from the cooker. She thanked Leo and served him the unburnt parts.
"Sorry about that" Lia handed him the plate.
"You eat it, I'm not hungry" Leo wanted to give her the food instead.
"No don't worry, I prepared it for you"
"Eat, Lia" Lia hesitantly took the plate.
Leo stayed there and watched her eat. He wanted to talk to her.
"I was informed that you got fired"
"Yes, I'm sure you're disap....."
"Why don't you come work in kings corp" Leo suggested.

The next day,
At the Griffon's residence.
"Dammit"
Mabel threw her phone at one of her personal maids. It hit the maid's head resulting to it bleeding. The maid was in tears.
"How could this happen? It was supposed to be me. I'm the only one fit for that role. How could they do this to me?" Mabel screamed.
She was beyond devastated, she had already slept with too many men and spent a lot of money only for it to be taken away from her like it was never hers, to begin with.
"Madam please calm down, if you continue to act like this, you might hurt the baby"
Mabel was too busy ranting, that she didn't notice there was someone in the room with her.
" What did you say bitch?" Mabel smirked.
She had just found herself a punching bag. Mabel grabbed a fistful of her hair and threw her to the ground.
She got closer to the maid and kicked her on her back severally.
She then lifted the maid's body off the floor and slapped her. The diamonds on her ring pierced into her skin.
***bam***
The door was busted open. Jack and his mother walked in. Immediately Mabel's composure changed back to the weak girl that she is in everyone's eyes.
"What's going on here?" Mrs. Griffon asked.
"Oh mother, I lost the job that I worked so hard for. I agree that I was stressing a bit too much, but then this maid insulted me and told me that I would never be able to raise my child and that I will kill it with my own hands"
Mabel said as she cried into Jack's arms.
" How dare you" Jack raised his voice at the maid.
" That isn't true, I was just trying to calm her down"
" So now your master tells lies"
" No, please that's not what I meant, please belie...."
***slap***
" Pack your things and get out of this house, your services are no longer needed"
" No please Mam, I'm sorry I really need this job. I have nowhere else to go."
" You should have thought about that before you disrespected a Griffon" Jack said.

A few minutes later...
" Stop crying Mabel the maid is gone now"
" It's not just about the maid, my job. I was finally given a good opportunity to prove myself, but they cruelly took that away from me"
" How could they do that to you? Do they want to face the wrath of a Griffon."
" What am I going to do jack?"
" Don't worry I would go and offer them a mouth-watering offer that they would never be able to refuse"
" Thank you Jack, you're the best" Mabel stood up and hugged jack.
" I know what would make you feel better"
" What?"
" Let's go shopping"
