"When do I start working?" Lia asked Leo.
"Whenever you're ready"

"Why don't you come work for me" Leo suggested.
"Are you kidding me?"
" Do I look like I'm joking?" Leo asked while wondering if he was smiling for her to think it was a joke.
"Kings corp would never let me work there, I don't think I'm even up to half of what their employees are"
"Why do you downgrade yourself so much?"
"King's corp is rank one on the billboard, they wouldn't need someone as irrelevant as me"
"Have you forgotten who you got married to" Lia's eyes widened. She had completely forgotten.
"You have already done so much for me, I don't want to keep demanding things from you, and also that is an abuse of power."
" Don't forget you are a king, it's also your company and you deserve the job, after all it isn't easy to graduate as a top student" Lia wondered how he knew that, but whatever.
Lia hugged Leo before realizing it. She tried to break free, but he only hugged her tighter.

It just dawned on Lia that she didn't have any suits or formal clothes.
" I don't have anything to wear to the office, I have to go shopping first". Lia said.
"Here take this" Leo handed Lia a black card.
"What's this?"
"My card, you can use it to buy whatever you want" Leo replied bluntly.
" I can't take this, you don't have to worry about it, I have my own money. I can pay for my clothes myself"
Leo's eyes darkened.
" How long are you going to keep rejecting me like this?" He asked.
Lia instantly felt guilty.
" I'm sorry I didn't mean it that way, I just..."
" You're my wife, don't you ever forget that"
" I know"

Lia searched through a lot of clothes, they were all either too expensive or too flashy.
So far she was only able to pick two outfits, she knew she could afford, which clearly won't be enough seeing as she has five working days a week.
One of the female suites caught her eye. She checked the price tag and was instantly blinded by the amount of zero's. Lia sighed and was about to put it down, when...
"What are you doing here? It was jack.
" How unlucky can I be?" Jack ignored her remark.
" I asked you a question, Lia"
" Am I not allowed to be here?"
" How did you know I was coming here? are you stalking me now?"
Lia ignored him and tried to walk away again.
" Hey, I'm talking to you". Jack grabbed her arm.
" Doesn't mean I have to answer you, let go of me" Jack didn't budge.
Lia yanked her hand out of his grip.
" If I could recall correctly, your job doesn't require you to buy suits. So do you still expect me to believe that you are not following me"
" Gosh, Mr. Griffon your too full of yourself. If you want to know, I got fired from my old job thanks to your fiance, and thankfully I found a new j..."
" Why don't you come work at the Griffon's Group" Lia was rudely interrupted.
" Are you even listening to yourself right now, I don't want to be near you or have anything to do with you and your family. I'm sick and tired of your crap"
Jack's heart clenched.
"You know what Lia, you are so fucking ungrateful"
"And what should I be grateful for?"
"Even though I promised myself to make you suffer, I always give you new chances every time I see you. But you always decide to act like the cocky bitch, that you are"
" Then why don't you just stick to your promise and leave me alone?"
" What's going on here?"
" Oh, great" This time it was Mabel.
" Didn't I warn you to stay away from Jack. It looks like losing your job wasn't a good enough warning for you"
" Relax Mabel, I was the one who approached her first" Jack said to defend Lia.
" Why would you do that? she is just a worthless pig"
" I know that baby" Jack leaned in to kiss Mabel.
***Disgusting***, Lia thought.
" You got away with it this time, but I warn you, that old geezer is next"

Mabel wasn't expecting what she had just received.
" I've had enough of you, if you don't care about him then fine, but don't disrespect him. He took you in when you lost every...."
***Slap***
Mabel had just recovered from the shock and returned Lia's slap.
" Never in your life, will you raise your hand at me. You aren't not even up to my level and let me tell you this, he was never a father to me. I hate both of you so much, I just want to kill you"
Mabel said while charging forward, but Jack was there to grab her and stop her from doing something stupid.
" Mabel, how can you say that about someone who took care of you?" Jack asked.
Mabel was too careless just now, she had to think of something to cover up for her actions.

***SOMEWHERE ELSE.***

" How is she?" The brother asked worried for his sister.
"She has been stable for a good amount of time now, she hasn't had any panic attacks"
"Good"
"Brother is that you?" The sister asked while rubbing her eyes, she had just woken up from her slumber.
"Yes, it's me. Big brother came to visit you today" He said smiling brightly at his little sister.
" Yay, brother has come back to see me" The girl embraced her brother.
"Please excuse me sir" the nanny excused herself not wanting to hinder the family reunion with her presence.
"I missed brother so much, he hardly ever comes to see me. Does he not love me anymore?"
"Of course your brother loves you, don't forget that".
"I won't" the girl smiled happily.
The girl's brother couldn't help but stare intensely at his sister's face.
"Why does that woman look exactly like you?" He asked.
"Who looks like Liana?"
"No one"
The brother and sister happily played and chatted together until it was time for him to leave again.
" I wish brother wouldn't leave me alone again" the girl pouted.
" You know that it's not safe yet for you to come live with me. The bad man is still searching for Liana"
" I don't want the bad man to find me"
" So please, bear with your big brother until he can finally catch the bad man"
" Ok, I will, but promise me that as soon as you catch the bad man, I would go and live with my brother"
" I promise"
