END CHAPTER

***Flashback***
Mr. Black feeling too exhausted to continue walking slid down on the wall he was leaning against.
"Please wait here for me," Lia said and left.
Mr. Black who was losing his consciousness suddenly got the will to get up again. He can't die unless he knew that Ben was dead.
With his newly found energy, Mr. Black got up not without pain, but he continued. His thrive to end Ben was strong.
Thanks to his good memory, he was able to make his way back to where he was chained up. He wasn't going to confront Ben without having a weapon to defend himself and the room he was bounded in, had a knife in it. If only he hadn't forgotten about the weapon, then maybe Ben would be dead by now.

Diana began to see double as she swayed. Her body was becoming too heavy for her legs to carry.
"What did you give me?" Diana asked.
"Poison" Ben gave a short reply.
"Why?" Diana asked.
"It's the only way I can make sure you never leave me again," Ben said.
"You drank it too, why isn't it affecting you?"
"It could be that you are weaker than me or you took a larger quantity, that's why it hasn't taken any effect on me yet"
"You are crazy, you know that right" Diana weakly said.
" You could have prevented all these things from happening if only you had stayed with me"
" When will you understand that we can't be together forever"
Ben laughed "we will, in the pit of hell"
"When did you become like this?"
"The moment you chose that bastard over me," Ben said with all seriousness.
"I didn't choose Ben, you were the one who took it that way"
" You abandoned me"
" No, I didn't. We were only going to part ways "
" That wasn't good enough" Ben spat out each word with venom laced in his voice.
Diana saw Mr. Black coming closer to Ben from the back, She saw a knife in his hand. She instantly got the message, but yet again Diana was to choose between her brother and a stranger.
And her choice was as clear as day, even if she were to save her brother he would still die in the end.
"What more could you possibly have wanted?" Diana continued.
" All I wanted was my sister"
"You still had me"
"All of you," Ben said and turned around just when Mr. Black was about to plunge the knife through his chest.

Leo carried Lia's unconscious body and placed her gently against the back seat of the car.
Leo pointed to two men and said, "protect her"
He turned to the rest and continued, " The rest of you surround the building, I need some of you in and out. No one should be able to leave this place" Leo said as he grabbed a weapon and led the way into the building.

Because of Ben's sudden movement, the knife only managed to cut his shoulder.
Ben's gun was in his pocket, before he could grab it Mr. Black punched him in the face, unfortunately, it wasn't too much of an impact because of Mr. Black's weak state.
He had put all his energy into that punch and now he was panting for air, as if all the oxygen had ceased in the room.
"I see you are still strong" Ben stated while looking at Mr. Black's bleeding arm.
"Why don't you just give up?"
"You have to die first" Mr. Black weakly said.
" Kill me then, I won't hold back," Ben said and raised his hands to surrender.
Mr. Black charged forward again but Ben stepped back causing Mr. Black to almost fall.
He shook his head as if telling himself to stay conscious.
" Fool, you can barely stand and you come here to challenge me. Are you trying to make a mockery of me" Ben stated?
Ben brought out his gun and aimed it at Mr. Black, but before he could pull the trigger Diana stopped him.
" Leave him," she said with her hand on Ben's.
Ben gave it a thought, the man was as good as dead anyway. Ben put his gun back into his back pocket.
Ben saw that Diana was barely holding herself up so he supported her body and sat her on the floor to rest.
"It looks like I would be joining you much later Diana," Ben said. Diana didn't have any strength left to even spare a glance at her brother.
"Put down your weapon" someone shouted from a distance and a few seconds after, the voice was accompanied by lots of footsteps running towards Ben.
" It looks like your hubby did find you" Ben muttered under his breath.
He dropped his gun to the ground. It didn't matter if the men were going to kill him or not, he would soon be with his sister anyway. He had already begun to feel the effect of the poison.
Seeing Ben drop his weapon the men approached him and took a hold of him, then Leo showed up.
"You will suffer for what you have done" Leo sternly said.
"Take him away" He commanded his men.
"What about the woman?" One of them asked.
"Take her too"
The man approached Diana ready to carry her, but stopped once his finger grazed her skin. He then proceeded forward to check for a pulse but there was non.
" She is dead," The man said.
" Take her," Leo said again.
Leo strode to Mr. Black's front.
" Gideon," Leo said.
Mr. Black could no longer see anything, but was somehow still conscious.
" I will help you, but after this, you have to leave this place because if I ever see you again I will kill you" Leo stated.
" I will leave, but it would only be for a short time" Mr. Black stated.
Leo waved his hand and the men who stood by his side came to lift Mr. Black.
" Let's go," Leo said.

Lia jolted awake and her shoulder began to hurt from her sudden movement.
"Ouch"
"How are you feeling?" Leo said from beside her.
"I'm good, but what happened?" Lia asked.
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"You don't remember?"
All the events from the previous day came rushing back into her head.
"My fa...Mr. Black...D...Diana, how are they doing?" Lia asked.
" Dead" Leo stated and on hearing the terrible news Lia hung her head low.
"Oh, but then what about Liana? What are we going to tell her?" Lia said also thinking about Ellie.
"I have already taken care of that, you don't have to worry about anything else"
"Where is she?" Lia asked.
"She and Cynthia moved out. I took her to a special care facility earlier today. Cynthia tagged along. So it's just me and you again" Leo said as he lifted Lia's chin and kissed her.
This time Lia didn't push him away, instead, she kissed him back. This made Leo very happy.
"I love you"
***End of flashback***
Leo opened the door to a heavily guarded room.
"I thought you have forgotten about me" His prisoner stated.
"I don't have the time to pay you a visit every time," Leo said.
"You have already chopped off all my toes and fingers, so what is it going to be today? my hand, leg, head?"
" I don't know yet"
" You should have just left me to die"
" I already told you, you have to suffer for the things you did before you die"
"Damn you. I will get out of this place and I will make you pay for..." Ben began to scream.
Leo took one of his turture weapons and began his session with Ben, as Ben screamed in pain.
