CHAPTER NINE

"You have got to be kidding me"
Lia went over to Leo's part of the closet. She grabbed one of his shirts and put it on. It stopped at her mid-thigh. It smelt just like him.
It was uncomfortable but she will just have to make do with it. Lia left the closet and there was no one else in the room.
She used that opportunity to look around the room properly. It was bigger than any room she had ever had to herself and she and her father moved a lot before they finally settled down. Even the closet itself was bigger than her former room.
"This is the life I'm going to be leaving in now huh?"
"What did you say?" lia was startled.
She was too engrossed in her little world that she didn't notice that Leo had come out of his little hiding spot.
Leo was proudly admiring his shirt on her skin. He wasn't exactly sure why she chose to wear it, but he was very satisfied with it.
"Nothing" Lia turned around to a half-naked man with only a towel hanging dangerously low on his torso. His hair was also dripping wet.
"Ahhhh" Lia screamed and covered her eyes.
"What's wrong?" Leo asked looking around him for any sign of danger.
"Yo...your naked" Leo sighed
"No I'm not, and by the way, you have to get used to this. You're going to be seeing it a lot" Leo stated proudly.
"I'll excuse you so that you can change"
"There will be no need for that, you can put your hands down now"
"Ahhhh" Lia screamed again.
"What is it this time?"
"You're still naked"
Leo was wearing pants this time.
"Well love, this is how I sleep. So bear with me"
"What?"
"You should try it sometime, you will sleep better I promise you" Leo smirked while Lia just turned her face to hide her blush from him.
"Aren't you coming to bed, it's already late. You need some sleep"
"I will sleep on the couch" Leo's mood changed once he heard those words come out of her mouth.
"Lia, come to bed now or I will drag you over here" He said with gritted teeth.
"I don't want to sleep there"
"Don't test me Lia" He warned. The thought of them sleeping on separate beds angered Leo.
***gulp***, Lia gulped.
Lia knew better than to anger the dark prince. After all, he was given that name for a reason.
Lia got on top of the bed making sure to stay a safe distance away from Leo, and of course, Leo being the lovesick puppy that he is, pulled her closer to him. He kept her captive in between his arms and gave her a light peck on her cheek before falling asleep.
You can tell from Leo's action that he didn't want what happened last time to repeat itself. This time he wanted to wake up with Lia by his side not out of his house.

"Hmmm" Lia grumbled.
Someone was disturbing her sleep by constantly tapping and shaking her.
"Leave me alone"
"Wake up love"
"Let me sleep"
"As much as I would love to do that, you have to wake up if we are going to visit your father today"
" I'm up" Lia jolted awake, on hearing the word ***Father***
She got off the bed and ran to the bathroom without sparing her husband a glance.
The things required for her bath were already prepared. Her shampoo, soap, toothbrush and so on.
Lia took a while before she was done, mostly because she spent most of her time gawking at the bathroom.
Lia had just realized that she didn't take a towel in with her, not even a change of clothes. It was already too late.
Lia had a habit of washing her previous clothes before she hits the shower. Leo's shirt was soaking wet and it wasn't convenient for her to put it back on.
"Why me?" Lia cried out.
She opened the door a little and peeked to see if Leo was there, thankfully, there was no sign of him. She waited a little bit longer but there still wasn't any sign of him.
She was hesitant at first but she eventually came out of the bathroom. She was six steps away from the door when Leo came into the room.
"Lia aren't you d...."
Leo stopped talking when he noticed her dripping wet naked figure. He gulped.
Lia was frozen in her spot for almost a minute before she snapped out of her trance and ran back into the bathroom.
Lia was freaking out. This was the second time a stranger was seeing her naked, only that this one was her husband.
If she knew that faith was going to play her in such a way that Leo was going to see her naked body, then would have preferred to wear one of the nightgowns.
"Lia is everything alright in there?" Leo asked.
"Uhm yes, everything is good"
"Do you want me to perhaps help you with something?"
"A towel would be great"
Leo went into the closet and grabbed her a towel.
"Thanks" Lia muttered.
Lia dried herself with the towel and wrapped herself high above her breasts.
As she came out of the bathroom, she came face to face with Leo's chest. She didn't dare to look up, not especially after what had just happened.
"I didn't see anything" Leo said to make her feel better.
"You don't have to lie to me"
"I think your body looks great." Leo said, to lighten her mood.
"Thanks"

Lia was going through the clothes in her side of the wardrobe, trying to find a decent outfit and thankfully she found something.
It looked as if it was only her night wares that had another story attached to them.
Lia ended up choosing a yellow sundress that had flower patterns embroidered to it.
By the time she came out, Leo was already dressed and waiting for her to come out.
"How did you bathe and dress up so quickly?"
"It wasn't me, you were the one who took almost forever in there, and by the way you look stunning, my love"
Leo believed that if he gave Lia little comments and bought her gifts then she would open up to him some more. Don't blame him he read it in a book.
"Thank you, and also thank you for the clothes"
"You don't need to thank me, I am going to spoil my wife rotten"
" Let's go"

Leo had called Mr. Black to prepare another ride and meet them at the hospital because from there Lia and Leo will be going their separate ways.
" Where are we going to?" Lia asked.
" The hospital of course"
" But this is not the way to the hospital"
" I had to transfer your father from ginseng to the Grand hospital, for the surgeon I told you about to operate on him"
" Oh, thank you so much for everything. I don't know what I would have done if it weren't for you"
" We had a deal, Lia, I'm just fulfilling my promise to you"
Leo helped Lia out of the car like the gentleman that he was.
With Leo leading the way, Lia just followed him at his back like a lost puppy.
The hospital was beautiful, if it could even be referred to, as a hospital. It looked like a grand hotel. It didn't even have that disgusting drug-like smell attached to it. It must be nice to have money.
They both entered an office. The front of the door had a golden tag with the name Doctor stone written In black with italics.
" Josiah"
Josiah's pen had just fallen under his desk and he bent over to pick it up, the sudden call of his name startled him, causing him to hit his head against the desk.
"Don't you fucking know how to knock?" Josiah said rubbing the bump that was now forming at the back of his head.
" How was the operation?"
" It was successful as always, no need to thank me" He replied with his chin high.
" How is his condition?" Lia asked.
" Who is this beauty I see here?"
" Don't fuck with me right now, I will kill you" Leo said as he hid Lia behind him.
" Why the sudden attitude?"
"How is he?"
"His condition is stable, but I don't know how long it's going to take for him to gain consciousness"
" And you call yourself a doctor"
" Do not insult me, it's unpredictable, if you want a time range, I'll give him two weeks. Now my friend, answer me who is she?"
" My wife"
"You're married? How come I wasn't even invited to the wedding?"
"You're not important enough"
" Ouch. I must say, I'm shocked. I thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with Mr. Black, but you found a wife. A beautiful one at that"
" Mind your damn business"
" I want to see him, my father" Lia said.
" Oh, she also sounds like an angel" he said looking up, then he shifted his gaze to Leo, and said "So you married the daughter"
" Josiah" Leo warned.
Josaih laughed and said, " Follow me"
The room that Lia's father was in screamed luxury. It was like a hotel room, but with machines.
"Why are there so many machines connected to his body?" Lia asked with a frown on her face.
" Your father's condition is so rare, that I'm afraid he would die any moment from now"
" What?"
