Chapter Eleven

Jay:

I returned to my house from Delhi. I was thinking of a way to help Adi understand Vidya. But surprising me, I saw Vidya talking so closely to Adi, Shwetha, Karthik and Vikram in the living room. It remembered me of the olden days where I was happy with my parents, sister and brother. Vidya noticed me and came to me.

"Jay, how are you? Go and get fresh up. I will bring coffee for you," Vidya said.

"I am fine," I said, looking at Adi and the gang.

"Brother, you are fine but my sister in law missed you a lot. This is very unfair to stay away from her for ten days, such a long time," Adi said.

"Yes, Jay. Vidya missed you a lot. Her
face regained the glow just now with your arrival," Shwetha said.

"By the way Jay, we are back," Karthik said.

"Why are you standing like a statue with no reaction," Vikram said.

"I think my brother got mesmerised seeing my sister in law after a very very long time of ten days," Adi said and everyone laughed.

"Enough now. I am totally confused. Adi, first answer me. Whom are you referring as your sister in law?"

"Oh my god. My brother lost his memory. I am talking about your wife and my sister in law, Mrs Vidya Jay."

"Vidya? Did you accept her as your sister in law?"

"Yes. Who could deny her when she is so loving and caring as our mother!"

"I too accepted Vidya as my best friend. She is better than you," Shwetha said.

"One more surprise to you. We three are going to stay here as before," Karthik said.

"Why are you dumb, Jay?" Vikram said.

"I don't understand how to react. I am so happy. But tell me how did this happen? Adi and Shwetha hated Vidya a lot and how did they both accept Vidya all of a sudden?"

"You can know everything later. Now please go and get fresh up. The meal is ready," Vidya said.

"Yes, Jay. Let's all have the food together after a long time."

I left and Vidya followed me. Vidya took my formals from the wardrobe and I hugged from the behind.

"How are you, sweetheart?" I said, kissing on her cheek. I missed her so much.

"I am good after seeing you," Vidya said, looking at my eyes.

I kissed her on the forehead.

"What's the magic that made them accept you and throw away all their hatred for you?"

"The magic which I learnt from my husband."

"What is that?"

"Sharing love and care," Vidya said.

"I didn't get you," I said.

"Go and get ready first. We will talk about this later," Vidya said and I nodded.

I got freshen up and went downstairs to have the food. We had fun while having food by teasing each other and laughing. I remembered the past days and looked at Vidya.

You brought the lost happiness into my life, Vidya. I love you so much. You are so loving. Today you won the heart of my family and made me so happy. You are the best wife.

I went to wash my hands and Shwetha too came with me.

"Are you shocked seeing we accepting Vidya?"

I nodded.

"You are right, Jay. Vidya is so loving, caring and innocent. When you were not here, Adi suffered from a fever. Vidya took good care of him day and night, making him feel the love of mom and sister. Vidya skipped her classes too for Adi. She accompanied him to the exam center as he is unwell.

I met with a minor accident and unable to walk. You, Karthi and Vikky are out of station during that time. I called Adi for help. As Adi is not fine, Vidya came to the hospital and brought me to the home. Vidya is really great. Though I was rude to her in the past, she forgot everything and took care of me.

Her concern, love and care changed us completely. You are lucky to have her as your wife and we are thankful to you for making Vidya, a part of our family. When I told that before missing your family we all used to stay together with your family, Vidya asked us to stay here as before and that can make you and Adi normal and happy. She loves you a lot. She is not like her father. She is too good," Shwetha said.

I felt happy to know what all Vidya did for me. I went to our room and saw Vidya studying and preparing the notes. I sat on the bed admiring her beauty by remembering Shwetha's words about her. After some time, I went near to her. I couldn't control myself seeing her after staying away from her for ten days. I hugged her from behind and kisses on her back. Vidya clutched reacting to my kisses. I was about to kiss her on the cheek but she stopped me.


"I have exam in the institute tomorrow. I should study now. Can you please allow me to study?" Vidya said.

I left the hug. Vidya turned towards me.

"I am sorry, Jay. After ten days, you came back to the home and you want me but I denied your love," Vidya said.

"No, Vidya. It's ok. Study well but please don't study till the late night. It may ruin your health. Good night."

I slept and Vidya resumed her studies. After sometime, I woke up and saw Vidya still studying. I smiled and made tea for her.

"Vidya, take a small break. Have this tea and then study.

"Thank you," Vidya said and took the tea.

I slept again and woke up again as I Vidya didn't sleep yet though the time is 1 AM.

"Vidya, It's already 1 AM. Please sleep. It's not good for health and you may feel sleepy during the exam if you sleep so late," I said.

Vidya smiled and laid on the bed. She kept her head on my chest and slept hugging me. I kissed on her forehead.

"Jay, did I hurt you by stopping you? If you want you can take me now," Vidya said. I smiled as I know how tired she is!

"No, Vidya. Actually if I know your goal before, I would have stayed away from you. From now it's not your goal, it's our goal. I won't disturb you till you reach your goal. Don't think that it hurts me. Love doesn't just mean getting intimate but to support one another to grow in their life. Sleep now. It's already late. Good night, angel," I sais.

"I love you, Jay. Good night."

"I love you too," I said and we went into the sleep.
