Chapter Sixteen

Jay PoV:

For the first time, Vidya felt that my family is also her family. That made me so happy.

"Tell me what happened to them, Jay?"

"Vidya, Actually I was not here for two years. Shwetha and Karthi are the one who knew better than me. In the morning, we can ask them. Now it's too late. Let's sleep."

In the morning, I asked Shwetha to explain what happened exactly.

"Suhana was posted as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister's office as she gained the reputation as honest and daring officer in the State. Suhana took the charge and started the work. One day while we all are on a picnic, Suhana got a call from unknown.


The Flashback:


"Hello," Suhana said.

"Is this Suhana madam, Additional Secretary in CMO?"

"Yes. May I know who are you?"

"Madam, I can’t say my details. I called to bring something to your notice."

"Ok. Tell me."

"Madam, Avani’s Superspeciality hospital recently announced that they will treat the mentally disabled orphan patients at free of cost. But it's all a drama."

"I didn't get you," Suhana said.

"Yes, madam. The doctors were killing them by giving wrong medicines. Then, they are selling their organs. This business is giving them high profits and many high profile people ike ministers and Members of Parliament are involved in this."

"What? Do you mean that they are doing organ business?"

"Yes, madam."

"Do you have any proofs regarding this?"

"Yes, madam. I have a few photos and a video."

"Send them to my whatsapp immediately."

Suhana received the proofs and shocked to see the pictures and a video in which Member of Parliament Anand Singh and a few more high profile people are discussing regarding this organ business."

"Are you ok, Suhana?" Kiran said.

Suhana couldn't say anything as Anand Singh is Kiran’s father. Kiran observed the mobile in her hand and took it from her. He saw the video and the pictures. He was in shock seeing his father in illegal business.

"I know it hurts you but...."

"No, Suhana. I am not hurt. I know about my dad and his illegal business but I never thought that he will play with the lives of people. Suhana, you do one thing. As many high profile people are involved in this scam, submit these proofs to the President directly. But be very careful."

"Sure. But I want to visit the hospital once," Suhana said.

"But it's risky."

"I can't proceed without confirming that this information is true."

"Okay. Do whatever you think is right."

Meanwhile Suhana’s parents, Shwetha, Karthi gathered there. Suhana told the issue to them, warning them to be careful as she is dealing with the case.

Next day, Suhana made an official visit i.e. inspection to the Avani hospital. Suhana found a room locked.

"Unlock the room," Suhana ordered the hospital authorities.

"Madam, it's just a spare room. Nothing is there in the room."

"It's okay, Dr. Niranjan. I want to see the room. Open it."

"Keys are not with us. I mean keys are missing from a long time and we didn't find it as there's nothing important in it."

"Okay, then let's break the lock."

Suhana ordered her driver to break the lock. They opened the room and got shocked. The organs of the humans are stored in chemicals and a few dead bodies are stored in the room. The doctors tried to threaten her but Suhana’s plan succeeded.

"Do you think I am a fool to come alone to inspect this hospital?"

She showed a key chain to them which is a spy cam and photos of the room are captured and sent to the media. The hospital was seized.

Flashback ended.

"Suhana is so smart. But what happened next?"

"It's proved that illegal activities are done in the hospital but the Members of Parliament and ministers who are behind that scam were not arrested.

After a few days, Suhana got a threat call warning that her family will be killed. Suhana and Kiran appointed the private security to the family but didn’t leave the case. After a month threat calls were stopped. Kiran and Suhana planned to visit the President to handover the proofs. But the next day, we heard the news that Sunana was involved in a scam. We were in shock. Then Kiran’s dad called Kiran and said it's all his plan. If Suhana leaves the case then she will be free from the allegations. However, they didn’t agree," Shwetha said.

"After that, one morning I got a call from Kiran. He told mom and dad were abducted and goons were chasing him and Suhana. He told me about the proofs and suddenly I heard the screaming of Kiran and Suhana. Then, the call was disconnected.

In the news, it was telecasted that Suhana escaped with the family because that scam allegations," I said everything that happened to Vidya.

We went to our room as I should drop Vidya in the coaching institute.


"Actually Jay, I didn’t understand a few things told by Shwetha.

1. Why did my dad planned suddenly to kill your family? He didn’t know that Suhana has the proofs.

2. Let's think that my father knew about the proofs. If it's true, then how did he know about the proofs? How did he come to know that Kiran and Suhana were going to visit the President to submit the proofs?

I think someone informed him. It might be someone in your friends," Vidya said

"Enough, Vidya. Stop it. So now you are doubting my friends. They will do anything for me but can never betray me or my family," I yelled at her.

"But we can’t trust anyone completely. However I didn’t want to hurt you now by arguing about that.

I am sorry. I am not saying it's your friends. It might be my brother too. I am just asking my doubts. That's it. Please, don’t get upset," Vidya said.

Vidya has a point. Maybe she is right. Is there any informer in my friends or family? I should know about it.

"It's ok. Maybe you are right. Anyways let's find about that Kiran first and then, we can think on this," I said and Vidya nodded.

"I want to say something important to you that no one knows till now," I said

"What?"

"Kiran sent those proofs to me on that day before their missing. Suhana is alive.

Do you remember that I went to Delhi for ten days? I got an information about Suhana and I went there to see her. She is in coma now. No one knows about this except me.

"Is Suhana alive? That's great. Atleast we came to know about her. I hope if she comes into conscious, we will know everything about our family."

"I too hope so. But be careful. Don’t say this to anyone including Adi," I said and Vidya assured me that she would keep this as a secret.
