Chapter Twenty Two

Jay:

Vidya called me.

"Hello, Vidya," I said.

"Jay, Where is Kiran? We didn't find him on spot. But I guess he might be there when the incident was happened (shooting her parents). Moreover dad said he is not real Kiran. I think he might be involved in this murder attempt," Vidya said.

"I thought the same. Anyways don't worry, dear. I will take care of it. I won't allow him to harm them anymore."

"Thank you, Jay. Bye."

"Bye," I said and disconnected the call.

Adi called me. As I told him earlier, he kept the mobile on speaker mode after gathering everyone in the hall.

"Is everyone there?"

They all replied to me.

"Ok, listen. Be very careful. Be in touch with me. Don't go to your work for today. Shift the place immediately. Don't inform even your friends where you are," I said.

"But where can we go immediately?" Shwetha said.

"Go to our past place. Vikky, hope you understand what I mean."

"Yes. I will take them there," Vikky said.

"Vidya, get fresh up and have breakfast sooner. Are you going to come here or will go with them?"

"I will come to you," Vidya said.

"Not to me but to the hospital. Adi drop her here and then you stay here with her. I am going on some work."

"Where are you going?" Vidya said.

"Don't worry. I will be careful."

"But Jay...."

"Vidya, I will be ok. No need to worry about me. Please be relaxed. As soon as you reach here, I will start. Till then I will wait here," I said and disconnected the call.

After two hours Vidya and Adi returned to the hospital.

"Adi, keep it with you," I said, handing over the pistol to him.

"Be careful and stay with Vidya. If anything is wrong call me or if necessary use this pistol. You know shooting, right? Don't leave Vidya alone."

"Yes, I know to shoot. I will take care. I won't leave sister in law alone."

"Ok, then I am leaving. Bye."

I left and about to open the door but stopped seeing Vidya running to me. I immediately went to her and held her hand tightly. I was too worried about her.

"Why are you running like that? Don't you know you shouldn't run now? Can't you call my name if you want to talk to me? Don't do it again. Do you understand?" I said, seriously.

Vidya hugged me. I didn't understand what happened to her but held her close to me, caressing her hairs.

"I am sorry for saying that I don't trust you. I said it as you don't like dad. But really I don't mean it."

"It's ok. I already said I am not angry at you for that."

"I am saying sorry not because you are angry with me but because I really felt sorry for hurting you with my words. I never repeat it."

I broke the hug and looked at her.

"It's the second time you repeated your words. Anyways I know the reason behind your words. Our marriage didn't happen as the way it should happen. Maybe that's the reason you are unable to trust me. I hope a day comes when you trust me completely. Now go inside. I have to leave."

"No. Please don't talk like that. I really love you. I don't bother about the way our marriage has happened. I promise you. From now no matter what happens, I will trust you completely. I never doubt you in anything and will never hurt you. Please forgive me once."

Her eyes have tears which made me understand how much Vidya loves me. I took her close and wiped her tears, kissing on her forehead.

"Why are you crying now, sweet heart? I didn't shout at u. I am not at all angry with you."

"Because I know my words hurted you. I don't like you to get hurted. Especially if I am the reason for that I can't forgive myself."

"I am so lucky to have you in my life. I love you, beautiful."

"I love you too."

"Do you want to come with me?" I said.

Vidya nodded. I called Adi and informed that we are going on some important work and asked him to take care of Vidya's parents. We both started from there.

"Vidya, now we are going to Suhana. She came into conscious."

"Really?? That's great news."


We both went to the hospital and saw her. I hugged Suhana and we both became emotional. I remembered our moments in childhood and many more I had with her before this accident happened. She is the best sister one could ever have.

"Jay, how is our family? Is Kiran alive? He was shot on that day by goons. Tell me how is he?" Suhana said.

"Sister, please relax. I will tell you everything. Just relax."

"What's the date today?" Suhana said.

"April 4th."

"Oh, no. We don't have much time. I should stop it from happening. No, it shouldn't happen. Jay, give me your mobile," Suhana said and I gave my mobile to her. She called someone. But the call is not received by that person.

"You do one thing. Please go and meet MP Anand Singh soon. Only he can help us now," Suhana said.

"What?" Vidya said and Suhana looked at her.

"Are you Vidya, Kiran's sister? How did you come here?" Suhana said.

"Vidya is my wife," I said.

"What?" Suhana said.

"Actually...." I tried to say but Suhana cut my words off.

"We can talk about it later. Vidya, where is your father? I want to talk to him soon. We need his help now."

"But you told me that he is the one who planned to kill our family," I said.

"Yes, I thought so. But actually he is the one who saved our parents and he tried to save me and Kiran too. But because of the misunderstanding as he trapped me into the scam which I didn't do, we escaped from his people and disagreed to trust him. He sent his goons to shift us to a safer place. Actually someone else tried to kill us not because of organs business revelation. Their motive is bigger than that. Actually..." Suhana stopped seeing at the entrance.

"You are under arrest, Mrs. Suhana," the Inspector said.

"What are you talking?" I said.

"Yes, Suhana escaped from the police till now but now your wife Vidya informed us about her. Now we are arresting Suhana."

I got shocked to know that Vidya gave information to them.

"Inspector, you can't arrest Suhana. She needs treatment. She is not yet recovered completely," the doctor said. He showed reports to them and they went off. I looked at Vidya.

"Jay, I don't know anything. I didn't give information to them."

"Stop worrying, Vidya? I trust you. I know you can never betray me. I am not a fool to believe the non sense told by someone else about my wife. Don't worry. I really trust you," I said.

Vidya hugged me tightly forgetting where we are.

"Thank you so much. I got scared for a moment thinking that you would believe their words."

I caressed her hairs and assured her not to worry. Suhana smiled seeing our bonding. We came back to our senses and broke the hug.

"Sister, we have to shift from here immediately."

I talked with the doctor and the doctor discharged her.

"Thank you so much, doctor," I said.

"No, Jay. I know about your family. Because of your parents, I am in this position today. I am sure that their children can never do wrong," the doctor said.

I took Vidya and Suhana to a place which is away from the city. Vidya helped Suhana to take food and medicines. I was in my room and Vidya came to me.

"Jay, are you okay?" Vidya said and I nodded.

"What about your dinner?"

"I will have it later. You go and have it. Don't wait for me. It's not good for your health," I said.

"It's ok. I too don't feel hungry. I will have later. What are you thinking seriously?"

"About your father."

"I think I was wrong in suffering him. Because he didn't do anything. I ruined his business and did lot more. I feel I am totally wrong," I said, leaning back to the chair, closing my eyes.

"Don't worry much. Because you ruined those businesses which were illegal and involves crime. You did everything which is under the purview of law. You are not wrong. If you think, he should be punished only if he did wrong to your family, that's not right. However, he deserve it for his deeds and for playing with the lives of many people. So, stop blaming yourself," Vidya said.

"So now you believe that your father did wrong and played with the lives of people."

"Yes. I too believe that he should be punished for crimes he did, though he didn't harm your family."

"I am impressed with your thoughts,Vidya. By the way where is your mobile?"




Vidya checked her hand bag.

"Jay, I lost my mobile. I couldn't find it in the bag."

I went to her and checked the bag.

"It's ok. Don't worry. Tell me where did you keep it last time?"

Vidya thought for a moment and then told me.

"At our home."

"Didn't you take it from there?"

"I don't remember taking it."

"Maybe you are right," I said thoughtfully.

"What?" Vidya said.

"I think someone in my friends are helping the culprits."

'Oh no. If it is so, remaining friends are in danger as three are staying at the same place," Vidya said.

"No, I won't let anything happen to them."

"But how?"

"I have a plan."

I called Shwetha, Vikky and Karthi and said something to them.

"Now we will know who it is and other two will be safe," I said happily.
