Chapter Twenty Three

Jay PoV:

In the morning, I woke up and saw Vidya sleeping. I caressed her hairs and went to get ready. Vidya woke up and saw me getting ready. She saw the time and came to me hurriedly. I didn't understand what happened to her but smiled at her.

"I am sorry, Jay," Vidya said.

"Good morning, beautiful. Why did you start your day with sorry?"

"I woke up so late. So...." Vidya said.

I went near to her.

"So what, my sweetheart? You are so tired the last day with tension and issues. So you woke up late. Don't you even have right to sleep peacefully for a long time? Don't imagine me as a strict husband who restricts wife in everything. I will be strict only when it comes to your safety. Except that, I don't get angry for anything else," I said.

Vidya smiled at me.

"You are the best husband who is so loving, sweet and understanding. That's the reason I totally fell for you," Vidya said, hugging me with love.

"Ok. Now go and get fresh up. Here is the coffee and tiffin for you," I said.

"Thank you. What about Suhana? It's too late. Did she have anything? Oh God. I am really so stupid. I forgot about her. She should take the medicines too."

Vidya hurried and about to go to Suhana. I stopped her by holding her hand.

"I already made her to eat and take medicines. Don't worry and don't blame yourself.Now you get ready and come fast. I need to talk to you," I said.

"Tell me now," Vidya said.

"First have your food and then I will tell you."

"No, it's ok. Tell me."


"Are you going to get fresh and have your food fast or not without arguing with me?" I said in a serious tone. Vidya nodded and immediately went to get ready. I smiled seeing her. Vidya got ready and having her breakfast fastly.

"Why are you in hurry? Eat slowly," I said.

"You said to have it fastly as you want to talk with me. So I am trying to finish it faster."

"Have it slowly, sweetheart. I am not serious with you but the matter is really serious. I said that I will talk only after eating because you may not have your food after saying that. I am sure you will be angry at me," I said.

"No way. I never get angry with you. I am not short tempered like you," Vidya said.

"Yes, but still I know you will be angry at me."

Vidya had her brk fst and I handedover an envelop to her."

Vidya opened it and looked at me seriously. I tried to move away from there.

"What's the hell is this? Are you mad? I really can't understand you," Vidya blurted out at me.

I went near to her and kept my hands over her shoulders to pacify her.

"Vidya, listen to me once. I took this decision for your safety. Please try to understand me," I said.

Vidya removed my hands and went away from me.

"What do you mean by giving me flight ticket to Delhi? Do you want me to stay away from you?" Vidya said with tears. I hugged her.

"Sweetheart, it's not to make you stay away from me. But I want you and our child to be safe. I can't put your lives under risk. Please understand me."

"No, whatever it is, I won't go away from you. I will be with you only," Vidya said hugging me tightly.

I am sorry, Vidya. I don't have any other way to keep safe in this situation. I missed my family and now I can't miss you and our child. To keep you both safe, I don't mind even if you get hurt with my decision.

"I didn't ask your opinion. You are going there. I made all arrangements for you there. You must go. That's it. If you are done with your argument, come fast. Otherwise you will miss the flight," I said seriously.

"No, I don't go anywhere."

"Just shut up, Vidya. If I say you are going, you should go. That's it. If you utter another word, you don't know what I will do," I said seriously.

I am sorry, Vidya. For your safety, I am sending you away and for this, I am being rude to you. I love you so much, sweetheart.

Vidya didn't move and her eyes filled with tears.

"If you really have respect and love for me, then accept my decision."

"Jay, how can force me this way to go away from you? I respect and love you. But I can't stay away from you," Vidya said.

"Look, I will be back within ten minutes. You should pack your luggage and be ready by that time. Otherwise you will see my anger. Hurry up," I warned her and left the room seriously to hide my tears.

Please forgive me, Vidya. I don't want to hurt you. But I really don't have any other option. I love you. I don't want anything happen to you. I want you to be safe. For that I need you to go away. So I am a bit rude to you but please understand me.

After ten minutes, I went to my room. I saw Vidya still crying sitting on the bed. I felt to console her but as there is no time, I just went to her and packed the luggage. I held her hand and dragged her to the car. I opened the door.

"Get in fast," I said seriously and Vidya got into the car silently. I started the car. I know it's truly difficult for both of us to stay away from each other. But atleast I will be tension free as she wil be safe there. We reached the airport and I gave her the ticket and id proof.

"Call me after reaching Delhi. Be careful," I said.

Vidya didn't respond and started going silently with tears. I can't resist myself anymore. No, I can't send her with tears.

"Vidya, wait. Come here," I said.

Vidya came to me but bent her head not to look at me. I took her to the car again and asked her to sit inside the car. I too sat in the car and closed the doors. I cupped her face and wiped the tears.

"I am sorry, sweetheart. I shouldn't have talked like that with you. I am sorry for my behaviour. But please understand me. I am not sending you away from me. Because no one can separate us. Though we stay away from each other, our hearts are always connected. So there is no question of separation. As soon as everything solves, I will bring you back to me. I promise you that I will never send you away from me again in my life," I said softly to her.

Vidya hugged me and I caressed her hairs.

"Are you ready to go now?"

"If I go then I will be safe but what about my parents, you, Suhana and Adi? How can I go leaving my family in danger?"

"Yes but you have to go at least for our child. Don't worry I will take care of our family including your parents. Trust me."

"Okay, I can't go wholeheartedly but I will go as you want me to go. I can't make you worried by staying here."

"Thank you but please don't cry. If I see your tears, my mind won't work. I love you and I can't see you in tears."

"I won't cry. I love u too," Vidya said and I kissed her.

"You should go now. You need to catch the flight," I said.

I took her to the airport again.

"Be careful. Be in touch with me. Call me if you have any problem. This is my friend's visiting card. He will pick you there. Take these cards. This is my credit card and ATM card. I hope you won't have any prblm there."

Vidya nodded and moved to go.

"Vidya, one minute. Do you have money with you? Take this."

I gave money to her. Vidya was about to go but I stopped her again.

"I forgot to give u this."

I gave a new mobile to her.

"You lost your mobile. How can you call me without mobile? In the morning, I went out to buy this for you. Now you can go," I said.

Suddenly Vidya hugged me tightly. I caressed her hairs and kissed her on the forehead.

"I love you, beautiful. Take care. Bye."

Vidya went into the airport and I left to home. It's aftnoon and I am waiting for her call for a long time. I called my friend and he said flight was landed but he couldn't find Vidya anywhere. Her mobile was switched off and I was so scared. I was worried and didn't understand what to do. Then I got a call from the police telling me that Vidya is in the hospital. I immediately went to the hospital and found Vidya unconscious. I found the police and the media there. Inspector asked me to come with him and I went with him.

"Mr.Jay, your wife took a big risk and saved our government. But unfortunately she was injured in the incident," the Inspector said.

"Is she fine? What happened to her?"

"I will tell you everything. You please meet the doctor first."

I went to the doctor and came to know that due to injury, Vidya had miscarriage. I was totally broken but controlled myself and went to the inspector.

"How did this happen?" I said.

"You know about Collector Kiran, am I right?

I nodded.

"He was shot dead and he is no more now. Now someone came in his place and claimed as Kiran. Mrs. Vidya found the truth that he is a clone of Kiran. In proving the truth, she risked her life. There's a huge conspiracy behind this and we are still investigating it.

Vidya went to meet the Governor to give the proof but attacked by goons. She escaped somehow and reached our Governor. She gave the proofs to the Governor. Kiran was tested by a doctor and scientist who is researching on human cloning and declared he is a clone. After that she came out and someone shot her. That person escaped from the spot."

"How did she prove he is a clone?"

"Really it's very difficult. Because even DNA of a clone matches exactly with the original but we need to know a few facts regarding human clones grown in the laboratory.

1. He doesn't have a belly button as he was not born.

2. His skin shows rapid aging.

3.Eyes looks pale and lifeless.

By these they declared he is a clone. This Kiran accepted and revealed that real Kiran is dead. He is about to reveal the person behind this but unfortunately he was killed by someone. We are in search of the criminal. Anyways it's hard time for you and Vidya. Please take care of Vidya," the Inspector said.

Inspector left providing security to Vidya. I got a call and I got shocked. I went to a place. I remembered messaging my friends three different addresses saying Suhana is there and I need their help to shift her from there as I can't reach there and got stuck somewhere else. In one address instead of my friend, goons attacked.

I went home and saw Shwetha tied to a chair. Aroh and Neel stood there. I remembered calling Aroh, Neel and Lasya to help him.

"What should we do now?" Aroh said.

Vikky and Karthi reached there knowing the information from me. I removed the cloth tied to Shwetha's mouth.

"How could you do this, Shwetha?" I said.

"I didn't do anything. You are misunderstanding me."

"Shut up. If you didn't do anything then how did goons attack on the place which I sent you saying about Suhana di?"

"You messaged everyone the address. How can you blame only me for that?"

"I messaged different addresses to three of you. The place which was attacked by goons is the same which I msged you."

Shwetha got shocked.

"Now tell me why did you do this."

"Yes, I did everything. I killed Kiran. I did everything to take revenge against your family.

"Revenge?"

"Yes. Revenge against your dad. Do you know who am I? I am the daughter of your dad. He cheated my mom and she committed suicide. I grown up as an orphan. I decided on that day itself to kill your entire family but Anand Singh flapped my plan."

Suhana came outside of her room listening to Shwetha.

"No, you are lying. My dad never do such things. How can you blame my dad?" I said.

"No, she is not lying. She is our sister. And her mom is dad's second wife," Suhana said.

"What?" I said.

"Yes, but dad didn't cheat her," Suhana said, leaving us in confusion.
