Scary meeting
"Riya's point of view,"
I was about to leave when I noticed the pantry boy delivering a tray of coffee from the front.
As he on the entrance of Rachit's cabin, the pantry boy said, "Madam, your black coffee."
The meeting has ended. I'm on my way to my cabin. You've arrived late.
"Bring it back," I complained.
"All right," the pantry boy murmured, a mournful expression on his face as he looked at the coffee mug.
Rachit inquired, gazing at me. "Do you want to sit with me and have a cup of coffee?"
"It's OK, Sir," I said obstinately, "I have some essential work to do.
"It would be helpful for me and my team to see the file with your testing results so we can figure out when the product will be out.
Rachit spoke out, his tone was authoritative.
"Of course," I said as I sat back in my chair as if I didn't have a choice.
Rachit smiled at the pantry boy and said, "You're free to go."
Pantry Boy then went away after thanking him.
In the cabin, Rachit and I were face-to-face. My heart rate had increased. In such a situation, I did not know what to do. My palms were rubbing against the pen in my hand.
"Oh, you prefer black coffee?" he inquired as he handed me the coffee mug.
After listening to him, I began presenting details about the product's trial and testing.
My tone is annoyed.
He was paying attention to my words, but he also seemed to notice the movement of my pink lips.
I observed his actions but was powerless to intervene.
After two sips, I returned the coffee mug to the table and continued to describe the product.
"Can I have black coffee?" As he picked up my coffee mug, he said this.
"Wait a minute, what?" It took aback me and said,In one breath, he swallowed the entire contents of my mug.
"Until today, I'd never had such a delicious cup of coffee."
"What!?" you found it sweet, although it contains no sugar, I said, irritably.
As he approached me, he smiled and said, "Perhaps your coffee won't be as sweet as mine was."
"What the f*ck are you talking about?" "How is that possible?" I said it in an annoyed tone.
He grinned as he said, "it blended the delicacy of your lips with my coffee."
"What the hell, sir? Should I go back to my cabin now that I have completed your essentials?" I became enraged and snarled.
"No, you can't leave unless I say so," he told me sternly.
"Sir, do you require any other information?" I used a phony tone when I spoke.
Why does my phone number remain on the do-not-call list?
"Are you still mad at me?" His voice was trembling as he inquired.
"Enough!"
I screamed angrily, slamming my hand against the table. How many times do I have to remind you we are in an office environment, and why do you forget this?"
"Exactly what are you looking for?" "You can't judge someone's character by a kiss," I advised him.
I'm not the type of girl you imagine me to be.
Don't flirt with me otherwise... "
"What else could it be?" As he neared my chair, he inquired furiously.
Otherwise, I..I.. I'll have to complain to you, "I try to conclude."
He whispered, "Good," as he gently put my hands against the chair's back.
My voice trembled as I answered, "Yes."
"Then go complaint," he grumbled, pressing his palms on my palms even tighter.
"Let me go," I said, surprised by his abrupt statement.
"Do you think of me in such a cheap way?" He questioned me aggressively, his face pressed against mine.
His fury was visible in his eyes.
"Do you really believe I'm going to kiss any girl like this?" He inquired, his nose resting on my cheek.
I clarified, "I... I... I didn't mean it.
"So, just what do you mean? He inquired vehemently, his gaze fixed on my face.
In his rage, his veins were clearly apparent.
"Do you think it's appropriate to stop me in your office?" I screamed at him violently.
"I don't care if it's incorrect," he grumbled, blowing hot air into my face. It drew his attention to me.
You haven't called me in three days and have added my phone number to the blacklist. For the past three days, I've been terrified by your peculiar behavior, and I haven't been able to sleep.
As a result, "What makes you so angry with me?" His voice softened as he inquired.
Someone is going to notice us. "Please let me go," I said, recalling the office environment.
"No, I'm not moving until I get a response," he responded emphatically.
Okay, that's alright. Listen, if you really want to know.
I finally told him why I had been ignoring him:
"I have a boyfriend with whom I am very pleased and I will never cheat on him."
"So you don't care about me?" With his brows furrowed, he queried.
"What exactly do you mean by this question?" I've already stated why.
My eyes widened in amazement as I inquired.
Riya, just give me the answer to whatever I've asked.
He pressed his palms on my hands more quickly to inquire.
I'm in a lot of pain. "Please let me go," I pleaded, my voice cracking with pain. "This is the workplace," I told him as I explained the scenario.
I promise I'll call you and remove your phone number from the blacklist. Allow me to leave immediately. There would be a lot of problems if someone saw us.
Okay, you may leave now, but first, tell me if you like me. He inquired his grip firmly in place.
Of course, I like you but as a friend, "I answered, glancing at his shaved chest, which was visible through the top two open buttons of his shirt.
Oh!
"So you kiss every friend so passionately," he added cynically, smiling.
"What are you saying, Rachit?" As I lowered my eyelids, I said, I didn't have the courage to look into his intoxicated eyes.
"Do you mean I'm the only friend you share passionate kisses with?"
It heated my cheeks from humiliation.
I begged in front of him, "Rachit, please let me go."
He gently brushed the edges of my lips with his own lips as he neared them.
My entire body tingled once more.
As a result, I drew my eyelids closed.
I did note, though, that his hands were no longer tightly pressed on mine. Slowly opening my eyes, I noticed him standing away from my chair.
I leaped to my feet and dashed towards the exit.
He pointed to the phone in his hand and said, "Miss Riya, your phone."
I snatched my phone and dashed back to my cabin, not looking back.
When he saw my terrified expression, he grinned instinctively.
