Two conditions

"Riya's point of view,"
In the parking lot outside Alan Industrie's office building, Dinesh greeted me and waited for me as usual.
With a confident look on my face, I said, "Good morning, Dinesh."
"This way, Madam."
When he guides me in this manner, I get annoyed, but I keep my cool every time.
"Is Mr. Khurana here?"
"Yes, madam, he's in the conference room with your team discussing the plant's installation."
"Rachit Khurana arrived on time. Wow, I was stunned," I mumbled in a sluggish voice.
As I entered the meeting hall, I remarked, "Good morning, everyone."
"Good morning, madam;" my team arrived from America last night to work; fatigue was clear on their faces due to travel; Mrs. Rosy and Mr. Johnson appeared to need rest.
"Dinesh, will you help me a little?" He looked at me as if I had asked him to go on a date after hearing my pleading tone.
"Sure Madam," He responded, trying to mask his surprise as he realized his profession.
"Will you take Mrs. Rosy and Mr. Johnson to the hotel?" As I spoke, everyone in the conference room glanced at me with surprise.
"We're OK," both of them said at the same time.
"My PA and secretary became ill due to fatigue and have a long holiday, which I cannot afford, so you guys simply leave and relax at the hotel and join me tomorrow with full energy." Mrs. Rosy and Mr. Johnson gave me a disapproving look as they listened to me, but they had no choice but to obey me.
"Are these both your PA and secretary? Riya, I mean madam," after they both left the meeting hall? Rachit looked at me with befuddled eyes.
"Mr. Khurana, Do you have any issues with my assistant and secretary?" I questioned him sternly.
"It's not that they're too old,"he said to me in a hushed tone after hearing my rude words.
"Mr. Khurana's Age is just a number, and to run a successful business, you need both talent and experience." I shrugged.
"Riya, I agree with you." Mr. Joseph listened to me and gave me his total support.
"Mr. Joseph, thank you very much."
"Can we wrap up today's meeting quickly? It exhausted my staff from traveling, and I'd like to give them some rest today." Rachit was becoming irritated after listening to me, but I didn't care; he couldn't argue with my decision, so he had no choice but to silently obey my instructions.
"Riya We loved this area for the factory's installation, but the landowner is refusing to sell." My team's manager informed me while demonstrating the land's location.
"Mr. Khurana, have you tried contacting the landowner?" I asked in a commanding tone, my gaze fixed on Rachit.
"Yes, I had spoken with the land's caretaker, but he firmly refused to sell it." He took a big breath and responded to my questions.
"Do you have any problems with your ears? I asked you if you talked to the owner of that land." I was getting irritated by his arrogance.
"Riya, I tried everything I could to meet the owner, but I couldn't get the name or address of the real owner of that land, the caretaker of that land flatly refused to tell me who the real owner of that land was, and also stated that they did not want to sell the land."
"Let me know where that land is located, and I'll meet with the custodian there myself to get the details. For the time being, you guys should rest in your hotel;" I've instructed my team to leave from there.
"Show me the rest of the progress report, Mr. Khurana," I said in a bossy tone.
His team members sat there staring at our faces as if to say, "Why are you wasting your time sitting here? Do you have any work to do?"
Those who had listened to me looked at Rachit, who shook his neck and signaled they could leave.
My phone's screen revealed the address of that caretaker.
"I can't believe you couldn't do such a simple task. You can complete tasks by entrapping people in your words, but you couldn't persuade that caretaker." How can he give up so quickly? Is he slacking off on this project? Does he have any idea how important this project is to me?
"Will you stop teasing me about the past, Riya?" He expressed his displeasure angrily.
"How many times have I advised you to address me as madam? Why are you having such a hard time comprehending such a simple concept?"
He was quivering with rage as he asked, "Why should I call you ma'am when your entire staff calls you by your name?"
"Because you are my vendor, I am the owner of the firm that invests in you, and you are an employee of my vendor."
"Riya, since when did you treat people based on their rank and post?" He inquired, his eyes widening in surprise.
"You taught me to treat people based on their designation. Have you forgotten?" Since last night, I've been very disturbed, and now this Rachit has arrived to irritate me.
"How long will you be angry with me because of the past? I realize my mistake and have already apologized to you," he added as he stood up and walked toward me.
"I can't forgive you for what you did, Rachit."
"Isn't it possible to start over?"
He gazed at me while holding my hand on the table.
"Leave my hand. You can't touch me like this." I didn't expect him to still exhibit the confidence to get this close to me like this.
"Please give me another chance to come back into your life, Riya; I swear I will never make the same mistake twice."
"Leave my hand;" I wasn't getting any particular sensations from touching him the way I used to.
"And if I don't leave," he murmured, leaning very close to my chair.
"So I know how to deal with guys like you." I smacked my knee hard on the major portion between his legs.
"Oh, Riya, you're insane," he exclaimed as he let go of my hand and walked away from me.
I felt terrible watching him in anguish since I could tell he was in a lot of discomfort from his expression, but it was necessary to keep his emotions under control.
"Think twice before approaching me."
He yelled, "Riya, no matter how upset you become with me, I will always come back to you."
"Daydreaming is not a good thing,"I took my laptop and walked out of the conference room, leaving him alone.
Ankur's message flashed on my phone screen, "Riya, meet Rahul at 8 p.m."
Oh my God, Ankur is acting precisely like my mother at this point. I had persuaded my mother to give me some time, but now this Ankur is refusing to listen to anything I say.
I had an idea. What if I made a deal with Ankur in exchange for getting to meet Rahul?
Riya, you have a great idea and are thinking in the right direction. My subconscious was overjoyed to hear my nefarious concept.
"Okay, Ankur, I'm ready to go out with Rahul this evening, but I have two conditions." I spoke to Ankur as soon as he answered the phone.
He scolded me, "Riya, I'm not conducting any business with you, so whatever condition you set in front of me."
"Okay, if that's the case then, I'm not available tonight; you can tell your silly cousin."
"You can't blackmail me in this way, Riya."
"Yes, I can, just like you blackmail me,"I replied after hearing him out.
He took a long breath and said, "Hmm... tell me what your conditions are."
"Okay, my first condition is that I meet Rahul at a place of my choice,"
"And your second condition is...," He cut me off before I could finish my second condition.
"My second condition is that you provide me with a doctor's prescription for sleeping pills."
"No way, I will not do such a thing."
"So, tonight's evening date has been canceled."
"Riya, you're a smart woman; how could you do this to me?" Ankur had little choice except to accept my terms.
"So, do you agree with my terms?"
I was having difficulty controlling the joy ofmy win.
"You've left me with no other choice so," he surrendered before me.
"OK, just mail me the prescription."
"Riya, you're talking to your friend, not your client. Don't you trust me?" He taunted me.
"I know you very well thats why I am asking for a mail, afterall you're my friend, if you want me to go on a date with Rahul, send me a prescription right now."
"Okay, sure, I can't win you if you insist." I received Ankur's email shortly after hanging up the phone.
"Good luck, Rahul; your date tonight will be unforgettable."I was in too much of a hurry to finish the evil plan that wasforming in my head.
