He doesn't care for me
"Riya's point of view,"
"Are you all right, Riya?"
As he sat in the empty chair in front of me enquired.
With a forced smile on my lips, I answered, "Yes."
He looked at my face and said, "But your red and swollen eyes aren't like this."
"Please leave me alone, Rachit; it's not a good habit to joke all the time," I replied, concealing my face from his gaze.
"Do I appear to be playing around, Riya?" He inquired, his tone somber.
Rachit, please leave. I wiped my tears away and mumbled, "I don't dare to argue with you."
As he walked out of my office, he said, "OK, I'll see you when you're ready to talk."
What does he think of himself?
I'm in a bad mood right now, and this guy needs to behave like it.
Rachit appears unconcerned about my situation.
He only came here to make fun of me.
But how could I have made such a blunder?
Why did I have to cry in front of him? By the way, I never appear weak in front of any office staff; rather, I always appear to be quite strong.
Therefore, why was it so difficult for me to stop crying in front of Rachit today?
I suppose I should contact Harsh; he'll surely brighten my day; but, I won't be able to contact him because he'll be in an important meeting all day; I won't destroy his mood because of me.
I inhaled deeply and entered the office pantry in search of some strong black coffee.
When Mr. Dhawan's call came through on my phone, it took aback me and replied, "Hello."
"Riya, are you free to come to the plant head's office?" Mr. Dhawan was intrigued.
"All right, sir," I said without asking Mr. Dhawan questions.
Is there anything left for today after that? After remembering God, I questioned myself.
I dashed up to the cabin and knocked softly on the office door.
Come, Riya, the plant head, has permitted to enter the cabin.
The scene from inside the cabin astonished me.
Mr. Dhawan, Mr. Poonia, and Rachit had already shown up.
Rachit got out of his chair and motioned for me to join him on the couch, which was leaning against the wall.
"Sit down, Riya," urged the plant head.
I entered quietly and sat in the empty chair.
Well, Riya, given your record, I'm giving you a chance to bring that project back on track and to ensure that you never again blame yourself for someone else's mistake.
With a small smirk on his face, the plant head said, "Promise me that."
"What?" The plant's head of state of mind took aback me and asked questions.
When Mr. Dhawan, Mr. Poonia, and Rachit saw my puzzled expression, they all smiled.
"Sir, may I inquire why you are changing your mind?" Suspiciously, I queried.
The plant head stated simply, "Because whoever is at fault should be punished."
Riya, I realize you worked as a team leader rather than a manager, but it is incorrect to blame yourself for someone else's error, both personally and professionally, jeopardizing your professional future.
The plant's head explains to me, "It's not at all a nice thing."
"I apologize, sir," I said, "and I promise to be more careful next time."After accepting my apology, the plant head said, "Go get your mood back on track and focus on work with positive energy."
"Yes, sir, thank you once again," I said as I rose from my seat.
"Don't thank me," the plant head said, gesturing to Rachit, who was sitting nearby.
"Thank you," I whispered, but my rage at him was clear in my expression.
This was something he was well aware of.
It already enraged me at him, but why was I even more enraged now? He did not know what was going on.
Rachit had reached the end of his patience.
Who is he to meddle in my affairs?
He had already interjected himself into my personal life, and now he was interfering with my business life as well.
He wants to show his greatness by doing this.
I will not tolerate him anymore.
Now I have to meet him face-to-face to clear up the situation.
As soon as I got into my cabin, I dialed his landline.
I yelled aggressively, "I need to talk to you right now!"
As he picked up the phone, he said, "I'm busy right now, Riya; I'll call later."
After an hour, I called again and received the same response.
I waited for a half-hour before contacting him again, and he gave me the same response.
My anger had now reached the seventh heaven.
He was ignoring me to get my attention, and I was well aware of this.
At all costs, I will attempt to clear things with you today.
I rushed out of my cabin and proceeded to Rachit's.
I paused outside the office door for two minutes, noticing that there was no one else within the cabin, but the office was curiously empty.
Rachit was nowhere to be seen; he was inside.Who would have answered the phone if it hadn't been for the landline? My Six Senses jogged my memory.
"idiot."
I strolled in without knocking and saw him reading a file on a couch in the office's corner.
Oh, he's hiding from me here, and no one else is inside the cabin from the outside.
He is intelligent, but not as intelligent as I am.
"Idiot," I grumbled quietly again, staring at him.
He was so engrossed in his file that he didn't even notice I was there.
"So, you're so busy that you don't have time to do anything till 10 minutes later," I sneered, directing his attention to me.
Riya, I'm busy right now; please come back later, "he said sternly as he stared at the paperwork.
"Sir, why not?"
"I'll come later since I'm dying to speak with you," I stated emphatically.
He continued to stare at the paperwork, ignoring me.
It annoyed me he was neglecting me in this way.
As a result, I lost control of my wrath.
