Are you jealous?
"Riya's point of view,"
I answered the phone and said hello.
"Are you busy, Riya?"
"Didn't you even respond to my message?" Harsh enquired, his tone dejected.
"But what's the message?" As I opened my message inbox, I was taken aback.
"Did you notice my message?"
Harsh enquired, his tone angry.
In my inbox, I found Harsh's message, which I had already read.
Rachit had read all the messages while snapping the shot, I discovered.
I expressed my regret about Harsh.
I explained I had slipped and sprained my foot while descending the hill, so I couldn't respond to your message or call.
"What?" enquired Harsh.
How?After hearing my statements from the other side, he responded, "I'm on my way to you right now."
Don't be worried. The doctor advised me to rest and prescribed an ointment. "By tomorrow, I'll be fine," I said, trying to ease Harsh's fears.
What's the matter with you being so careless? I'm sorry, Riya, but you're in trouble, and I won't be able to help you when you need it. Harsh's anguish was voiced in hushed tones.
I hissed at Rachit, who sat near the bed, and said, "Don't be upset; it's not your fault."
"Please look after yourself; I've missed you," Harsh said.
"I also missed you."
"love you," I screamed.
Harsh replied, "Me too," before hanging up the phone.
Rachit locked his gaze on me as he made his way out of the home.
I screamed, "You read my texts and didn't even inform me!"
"I did not read your messages on purpose," Rachit explained, "but when I clicked that photo, it automatically clicked on the message box, so I read it."
"Exactly what is your problem?"
Why are you claiming authority over me?"
"What's the matter with you? You're acting strangely. "
I locked my gaze on him as I inquired loudly.
I simply want to make you my own and don't want to share you with anyone else, so I don't want you talking to anybody else. He became agitated and released his fury at me.
"So you're a little jealous, huh?"
"Harsh, as well as Doctor Ankur," I asked, my attention fixated on him.
As he walked out of the room, he yelled loudly, "Yes, I am jealous"
It's eleven o'clock in the evening.
I had specifically requested that my food be served to me in my room. Because of a sprain in my leg, I could not go to the restaurant, and I discarded people's sympathy for no apparent reason.
After speaking with Harsh on the phone, I switched on the television to a movie channel.
I don't want to be in the room by myself.
Rachit had left alone with me in the room, so I did not know where he was.
Outside, the heavy snowfall forced the temperature to plummet even lower. My hotel room's heating was broken. Because of the rising cold, I was in poor health to the cold and dread, I could not do so.
A figure stood outside the window, which I observed. I fought to get the blanket off my face and looked out the window.
I was regretting my decision to stay in this room alone, as the thing that had been standing had moved.
My pain medication effects had worn off, and the ache in my foot had begun.
As I realized how helpless I was, I couldn't contain my emotions.
I gathered my courage and attempted to stand up, but the darkness caused my hand to crash into the vase on the bedside table, which broke and fell to the ground.
I can call Ashish or inquire at the hotel reception desk for help.
When someone knocked on my bedroom door, I was looking for a way to help, with my phone in hand.
When I checked my phone, I saw it was 12:30 a.m.At that moment, someone had to have knocked.
"Does there seem to be a ghost on the other side of the door?"
Please do not be frightened. There's nothing quite like seeing a ghost.
"Then who's outside the moving window?"
I quivered violently from fear and cold.
Another knock came at the door.
I took the risk of approaching the door and opening it.
"Rachit?" I was surprised.
"Are you all right?" It drew his gaze to my puffy eyes as he queried.
"No." I opened the door for him to enter the room while moaning in pain.
"Could you please tell me what the issue is?" He asked, closing the door and taking my hand in his.
Because of the cold, my body was still trembling.
In his hand, he could feel my trembling.
I frightenedly pointed to the window and said, "There's someone outside the window."
He propped me on the bed and opened the window to check.
"OK, I'll check," he said.
"There's no one there," as he peeked out the window.
But then I observed someone moving quickly outside the window. I added, glancing at him.
"I believe you're referring to this tree," he said, smiling at me, "which looks like a human in the dark through the closed window."
"Perhaps you're right, I was overthinking things,"I acknowledged with him, nodding my head.
"How's it going with your foot?" He came up to me and enquired.
"The medicines are on the table, I said. "I'm in a lot of pain, and I'm not sure which one of these tablets contains the pain reliever."
"I'm sorry," he whispered."Because of me, you sprained your leg"
I smirked." You should apologize as well."
What's the source of your shivering? After noticing my gummy teeth, he inquired.
I gritted my teeth and said, "The room heater isn't functioning, and I can't tolerate the cold."
"Riya, you're in a lot of trouble, and you haven't even called to tell me?"He screamed vehemently.
I said gently, "I assumed you didn't care about my difficulties, so I didn't believe it was necessary to worry you."
"Why haven't you picked up on what I'm saying till now, Riya?" He remarked, his eyes downcast, "You're always getting yourself into difficulty because of your stubbornness."
"Please provide me with Dr. Ankur's business card so that I can inquire about the pain reliever with him." In low tones, I inquired.
"No way." I'll call myself and inquire.
He took his phone out of his pocket, dialed the number.
"Thank you, doctor," he said as he hung up the phone and took one tablet from the table, which he gave to me.
"Where is the ointment?"
As he rummaged among the objects on the table, he enquired.
"Here."
I placed the ointment in his hand after taking it from near my head.
He applied ointment to my foot.
My entire body tingled once more by his touch.
"How are you feeling now?" he asked after applying ointment to my feet and wrapping them in a warm bandage.
"Thank you," I said, my foot feeling better but still shivering from the cold.
"All good, now you go to sleep," he said. He added, tucking the blanket up to my neck, "I'll be here if you need anything."
"Do you mind if I ask you a question?" I locked my eyes on his face as I queried softly.
He replied, "Yes."
"How did all of you end up here at this hour?" I was taken aback and enquired.
"To be honest, I waited all day for your call, and when it didn't come, I couldn't sleep, so I began walking along the corridor outside the door, and then I heard something breaking from your room, and I couldn't stop myself."
He said this while staring me in the eyes.
"However, your room is on the lower level." I was surprised to see him and enquired.
"When I found out you were going to live alone on the second floor, I took the room next to you after speaking with the receptionist, and in the morning, I overheard you talking about how terrified of ghosts you are and how you can't live alone. Then I realized I hadn't made a mistake by shifting here," he said.
When the rest of the office finds out, what will they think? I inquired about his whereabouts.
He told me, "As far as I know, you're not interested in office gossip.
"Don't worry about me because it's late; I'm fine now. You should return to your room and unwind; if your roommate discovers that you're with me late at night, there will be a problem. And the rumors about us upset me a great deal, "I added, eyeing him down.
First and all, I do not have a roommate; I am alone in my room, and second, I will not leave you in this situation anywhere, "he stated emphatically.
I murmured, my face hidden behind a blanket. "All right, whatever you want, I don't dare to dispute with you anymore."
My entire body shivered.
Rachit, who was nearby, could hear me gnashing my teeth.
Riya, the heater in my room works correctly; I think you should go sleep there, "he said as he yanked the blanket away from my face."
"No, I'm OK," I answered adamantly.
He takes my body in his arms and pulls the cover away from me.
