Window seat
We all have aims and goals for our lives. However, sometimes our intentions fall through and fate decides for us.The more you tried to get rid of me, the closer I got to you.
"Third-person viewpoint,"
The next morning, Riya arrived at her office and completed the tasks.
The trip piqued everyone's interest in the office.
Everyone was in a hurry to finish their tasks. Some people planned to leave the office in the evening and return in the evening to catch the bus, while others planned to take an abrupt break and return to the office in the evening to catch the bus.
Riya went to her house in the middle of the day.
Harsh had been eagerly awaiting Riya's arrival for quite some time. Riya wanted to spend as much time with Harsh as possible because she was going to be apart from him for two days. Harsh took a half-day off from work as well.
"Harsh, may I cook you dinner?" As she walked into the kitchen, Riya inquired.
As he exited the bedroom and entered the kitchen, Harsh said, "Don't worry, I'll eat outside."
"What exactly is the big deal? It will take 30 minutes to complete," Riya replied, as she retrieved the vegetables from the refrigerator.
"All right, I'll help you," Harsh said as he took the vegetable from Riya's grip.
"What should I wear today?" Riya asked Harsh the toughest question she had ever asked.
"Anything that makes you feel comfortable," Harsh said as he chopped the vegetable.
Riya scolded Harsh, "I like to dress according to your choices, and you're showing that attitude."
Harsh looked at Riya with loving eyes and said, "Really, you have such faith in my decision?"
Riya smiled and replied, "Of course, you made an excellent decision in choosing me as your girlfriend.
"So, what exactly do you mean by that? Is it possible that your selection is insufficient?" Harsh was perplexed, having realized the gravity of Riya's words.
As soon as Riya saw Harsh, she mocked, "My choice is meaningless."
Harsh said angrily to Riya, "Oh great, if you don't like me, find someone else you like."
"OK, I'll find a new boyfriend for me from the Shimla trip," Riya teased Harsh.
"Don't you dare leave me? You belong to me."While grabbing Riya in his arms, Harsh said this.
Riya smiled as she held Harsh in her arms, remarking, "Hmm... possessiveness."
"I'm going to miss you a lot, Riya," Harsh said, tightening his grip.
Riya whispered, her face hidden in Harsh's chest, "Me too, Harsh."
Riya was wearing Harsh's favorite baby pink sweater and light sky blue denim. She wore a blue-dialed wristwatch and a black full-sleeved jacket, her hair pulled back into a high ponytail.
Harsh was staring at Riya, who was lying on the bed, with rapt attention.
Riya grumbled as she took the trolley bag from her bedroom, "Harsh, I have to leave now or I'll be late."
"Is it okay if I drop you?" As he got out of bed, Harsh inquired.
"Harsh, everyone in the office will be there," Riya replied, bringing the situation to Harsh's attention.
"Please, I'll drop you off a little earlier at your office," Harsh requested of Riya.
"All right," Riya said as she walked out of the hall with the trolley bag.
Harsh snatched his car keys from the corner of the dining table.
Riya was wearing orange sneakers and was attempting to unload the trolley down the stairwell.
Harsh snatched Riya's trolley bag from her grip and said, "You move. I'll take off the trolley."
Harsh started the car after loading the trolley into the trunk and came to a halt just outside of Riya's office.
Riya replied softly, "I'll go."
Harsh sighed and said, "All right."
Riya wiped her tears away and whispered, "Take care of yourself and eat on time."
"Take care of yourself, too," Harsh said, his gaze falling on Riya.
"Riya, where are you?"
Riya's phone buzzed with Ashish's message.
"Harsh, I'm sorry, but Ashish has arrived," Riya murmured to Harsh as she kissed him on the cheek.
Harsh kissed Riya on the cheek and said, "Bye Riya."
Harsh grabbed Riya's hand and pulled her back as she was about to exit the car by opening the door.
"Can you tell me what happened?" As she looked at Harsh, Riya inquired, surprised.
Harsh drew Riya in closer.
As Harsh got closer to her lips, Riya felt uneasy.
As soon as Harsh brushed his lips against Riya's, she shifted her gaze to the other side.
"What happened, Riya?" With his gaze drawn to Riya, Harsh enquired.
Riya explained the situation while obfuscating the true reason.
"Nothing harsh, but there will be a problem if someone sees us here like this."
Harsh kissed Riya's hand and said, "Oh, sorry, I forgot."
Harsh exited the car and handed the trolley bag to Riya.
Riya replied as she yanked on the trolley handle, "See you soon, Harsh."
Harsh, who sat in the driver's seat, was engrossed in Riya.
Riya was rushing towards the bus that was parked near her place of business. As she walked away, Riya came to a halt and returned her gaze to Harsh's car, which was parked behind her.
"Please go; otherwise, I could not go," Riya said to Harsh as she called out to him.
"All right," Harsh said as he started the car.Harsh was well aware of how difficult Riya's separation from him would be.
As he sat down next to Riya, Ashish said, "Riya, you let me sit on the window seat."
"No way," Riya declared emphatically, "I'm going to sit in the window seat."
"I'll switch seats with someone else if you don't switch seats with me," Ashish warned Riya.
Riya inserted headphones into her ears and said, "As you wish."
As he rose from his seat, Ashish said, "OK, fine."Ashish requested that everyone on the bus change seats, but no one will give up their window seat for Ashish.
After that, Ashish's attention was drawn to Rachit.
Rachit's seat was close to the window, too. It looks like he engrossed in his phone and sat in his seat, minding his own business.
As he sat next to Rachit, Ashish said, "Hello, sir."
"Hello," Rachit said with a smile to Ashish.
"Sir, could you please switch seats with me?"
I'd like to take a seat near the window and gaze out. Ashish inquired about Rachit with puppy eyes.
"Why do you want my seat, Ashish, when there are so many window-side seats available on the bus?"
Rachit's eyes narrowed as he enquired.
With a saddened voice, Ashish replied to Rachit's question, "Sir, no one will change seats with me."
"So you're thinking I'll switch seats with you?" Rachit enquired, his gaze fixed on Ashish.
"Yes," Ashish confirmed with a shake of his head.
"How did you come to that conclusion?" Rachit enquired, attempting to suffocate Ashish's joy.
"Because you're so sweet," Ashish complimented Rachit, "and you can't say no to me."
Rachit agreed as he stood up from his window seat.
He rose from his window-side seat and said, "Tell me where your seat is, and I'll go sit there."
As he sat in the window seat, Ashish immediately said, "No. 4th on the left side.
"What do you think, Riya, about the fact that if you don't give me a window seat, I won't get one? Ashish smirked and pondered.
