Stubborn girl
"Rachit's point of view,"
I tried very hard to concentrate on my job after Riya had left my cabin.
My focus kept returning to her.
I'd never seen a girl like her before. I'm constantly being pushed to my limits by her.
There's something about her that makes me want to approach her.
When she speaks to me while staring me in the eyes, lightning flashes through my body.
As I get closer to her, my desire to get her grows stronger.
I'm not sure if I'm attracted to her or if I have stronger feelings for her, but it doesn't matter to her because she's already in a relationship.
Just thinking about Riya with someone else made my heartbreak.
I need to put some distance between myself and her. I will not cause her any problems.
But I can't seem to stay away from her any longer.
I needed to speak with her, so I took out my phone and dialed her number.
I expected her to remove my number from the blacklist after I became so enraged, but that stubborn girl has yet to do so.
How dare she?
I dialed her extension number from my extension, enraged.
She answered the phone and said hello right away.
I asked, enraged, that my phone number remove from the blacklist.
She remove my number from blacklist and said that I will soon see the results.
I reminded her remarks, I said, "Oh, I'm terrified."
She was undoubtedly even more enraged after hearing my response. I guessed it was because I was listening to the sound of her extension slamming.
She gets enraged over minor matters. Perhaps anger is always on her nose.
But if she acts normally around the rest of the staff, why doesn't she act normally around me?
According to the time on the laptop screen, it is 2 p.m.
I was on my way to the cafeteria for lunch when I noticed Ashish approaching from Riya's cabin side.
When I saw him come alone, I couldn't help but inquire about Riya.
"Ashish, you're going to have lunch by yourself today," I said indirectly, trying to figure out why she wasn't having lunch.
"Yes sir, Riya is not feeling well," he remarked, a sad expression on his face.
I shook my head and answered, "Oh."
I'm not sure why I got the impression Riya wasn't eating lunch because of me. Why is she venting her rage via eating? I didn't want her to be hungry, and since I caused her hunger, I was drowning in guilt.
That's why I didn't eat lunch when I came back from outside the cafeteria.
I sent her a text message on her phone.
'Why didn't you eat lunch, Riya?'
She did not respond to my message.
I sent a second message.
'It's not okay to take my rage out on food.'
However, she did not respond to my message either.
She was getting on my nerves yet again. When I contacted her on her cellphone, she hung up.
Seeing her outbursts drove me insane.
Why does she believe she is the only one who is obstinate?
I'm going to teach her what it's like to be obstinate today.
I dialed her number once more, but she disconnected my call.
She hung up on me at least ten times.
Why isn't she behaving like a normal girl?
'So what do you think, Riya? Till when will you disconnect the phone? Both you and I are stubborn, even more, stubborn than you, so I'll keep calling you, and we'll see who wins today.'
I texted her and called her again, but she kept disconnecting the call on the other end.
Her ignorance irritated me.
Whatever happens, I'll be able to get her to join me for lunch today.
I got out of my cabin and walked over to Riya's cabin, thinking about this.
I glimpsed her through the cabin door as she was on her phone, chatting to no one.
Riya slammed her phone on the table and muttered, "I don't care."
I had a feeling she was thinking of me right now.
As I entered her cabin, I inquired, "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"You here?" It took aback her when she saw me in front of her.
"Yes, ma'am," I said, noting her surprised expression.
"What are you doing here, Sir?" she asked me in a matter-of-fact manner.
I despise it when she refers to me as "sir."
I yelled angrily, "Shut up and eat your lunch!"
"No, I have nowhere to go and nothing to eat," she said as she turned around.
"Why?" I inquired.
"My wish, who are you and why should I answer you?" She yelled fiercely.
I felt more pain than anger when I heard her.
"Only you can decide who I am and what I can become," I answered gently, "but for now, go to the cafeteria and have lunch.
The pantry boy then came and reminded me that the food was cold.
I remembered coming to Riya's cabin and requesting the pantry boy to reheat the meal and place it on the cafeteria table.
I expressed my gratitude to the pantry boy.
"Have you also not eaten yet?" Riya inquired, astonished after hearing the pantry boy.
I couldn't help but smile when I saw her worried about me.
"Does it matter that I have eaten nothing?"
She got out of her chair and invited me to lunch.
"Do you mind if I don't have lunch?" I asked her again.
"Yes, of course, like I don't have lunch, makes a difference to you. I also take care of my co-worker. Let's go have lunch," she said this with a neutral expression on her face.
"What? I am the only one of your coworkers." After hearing her, I inquired in a mournful tone.
"Oh, come on, let's go eat lunch," she replied hurriedly. I wasn't having lunch because I was furious with you; otherwise, I couldn't stay hungry."
"What?"
Her statements caught me off guard.
She values me so much that she's not having her lunch for me.
I'm sure she's hiding something in her heart from me.
I followed her to the cafeteria in silence. But I couldn't keep a smile from appearing on my face as I remembered her words.
