Chapter 35

Violets locked ourselves in the room for a very long time. Mara tried her best to reach her but it was all to no avail. She called Luca and hurried to her house. they both knocked on the door multiple times but violet did not open up. She told them to leave her alone. They wondered what had happened to her. The tried to ask her what the issue was from the door but Violet took her stance and stayed in. She did not eat not do anything for a very long time she just cried herself to sleep eyes out till she was dizzy. When Mara Luca saw that there was nothing they could do. They left her alone in the room. They figured that she is an adult and she will deal with her issue on her own if she chooses. When she is ready to come out. Violet just cried herself to sleep in her room.
She felt a soft hand touch her on her face which woke her up. She wondered was who it was and saw Steel.
"Hi" he said as he sat beside and she couldn't help but again this was the first time she had ever gotten really close to Steel and it felt very emotional she held on to I really tight hugged him.
He patted on her back and told her that everything was going to be alright. She felt really good in his hands and she did not ever feel like leaving his arms Violet believed every word he said. She felt relieved in his arms and cried eyes out in his she did not want to leave him.
She woke up again and realized that it was all a dream but it felt surreal. She was depressed she thought at least she had this one good thing but No, she didn't.
After she was tired of staying in her room she opened the and came out she went to the living room and met Luca and Mara waiting for her. They were relieved that she came out and they asked her what the problem was then she told them about the job issue and they were surprised.
"What is really going on?" Luca asked rhetorically "I mean I know you are good at your job but I feel like someone is behind all these." He said
"I don't know why I just feel like I'm having a series of bad luck" Violet said sadly.
"No baby girl Don't think like that. Don't worry Everything is going to be alright. You have also okay you don't need to worry yourself." Luca said.
But violet did not believe him like she believed Steel in her dream. At a Point Violet began to think that Steel is just a figment of her imagination. Because when he is around, she just feels better. But she also convinced herself that he was real because her friends have met him before. She thought that if he really was just her imaginary friend he would disappear after she figures him out. If Steel is her imagination, then she doesn't want to go back to reality she thought to herself.
"You can keep applying love, that is not the only company. There are whole lot of other companies that deserves would appreciate your talent even though none of them deserves you" Mara said.
"Oh please don't tell me anything about applying for any other company anymore." Violet said "I am traumatized. I don't want to see any application beside me I think I'll just go and start something new like porn or something I don't to hear anything like an application or something and I don't want any company's rejection again." She flared up.
"Oh no problem. No problem but can I feature you in your porn video please." Luca said and they all busted in laughter.
"So what do I do with all this time on my hands?" Violet asked

After Luca and Mara were able to console Violet and get her in a better mood, they went back to their different businesses. Violet began to wonder where Steel had been all these while, she had not seen him in a very long time and he had not even think to check up on her, wow She felt betrayed. Steel is supposed to be a closest secret friend, and he's always made her feel better even though he did it in his own proud way. Now the only time she can see him is in her dreams. "That's bullshit." She said out loud

It had gotten to a stage where Gay kept monitoring him. Gay was concerned about his the feelings he had for this human and they will not let him be the last of it. Gay did not want Jay to see him as weak.

Steel called the attention of Dominique to it and she confirmed that they were trying to provoke him.

Dominique asked him if he was sure that the star stone is safe way he kept it in and Steel assured her that no one would suspect where it was and she had nothing to worry about. Dominic mind was at peace about the star stone but she knew that it was only a matter of time till their enemies came for war and this time it won't be small. Anytime Dominique goes on such journeys, you can't tell when she'll be back neither can she be disturbed. Her body will be present but her consciousness won't be. She sleeps in a coffin during her journey but spiritually, she might be battling with other demons and powers just to make her stronger. Dominique could be gone for days, weeks or months but she must not be disturbed. That is why she sleeps in a coffin when she wants to embark in such journeys.
Steel is very close to Dominique and the other way round. She knows a lot of huge secret about Steel

Dominic had been with Steel for a very long time but not since he knew himself. Dominic, I've been with still for a very long time. She had fought, lost and won wars with him.
The first time that Dominique met Steel she was in life and death situation. She was being crucified for practicing witchcraft. She was about to be burnt on the stakes to death. Dominique had always been a different child since she was little, but nobody understood her. She never opened her mouth to talk since she was born even though she could.
She didn't discover her powers from birth or anything but she had the potentials to have power. She discovered this powers one day when she strode into the deep forest after she was abandoned, her parents.
She had other siblings who were normal and could talk but she never spoke a word so this made them tired of her.
Her parents tried everything on her. They took her to the doctor and several herbalists who told them that she was able to talk she just choose not to. They hated her since then. They were furious and asked their creator why he gave them such punishment for a child. They felt that they shouldn't waste their money on another child who would just put all their efforts in vain.
One day, Dominique 's mother called her out to tell her that they were going to the farm. Dominique didn't want to want to go with her mother so she pulled her by the hair by the head and dragged to farm.
After they were done farming, her mother took her further into an unknown bush and asked her to wait there for her that she was coming back to pick her. Dominique waited a long time for her mother but she never came back. So then took a stroll into the farm which led to the forest. When she saw she had already gone too far. She decided to stop and turn back but she had walked too far away. She tried to find her way out of the forest but she kept going deeper. While she realized that she was lost already, she started to cry and run because it was getting really dark. She kept walking into the forest thinking she would find a way out of it. But she couldn't. She kept going deeper and deeper into the forest. At some point she had to stop and sit down because she was tired. Later she stood up and started to run when she heard strange sounds then she fell on her. When she tried to look up. She saw something that was the stuff of nightmares. She couldn't scream because she wasn't able to talk. The Creator rotated I wondered why she didn't talk or scream. Then it took her up and dragged her to its abode. The Creator decided to keep her because it felt that she was different. When the creators saw that Dominic would not say a word. It gave her food she ate. But she was instead, the creator wondered what type of person this is. The creature decided to Keep Dominique for itself because of her silence and fearlessness.
The creature started to take Dominique out and teach her different spells and sorcery. Of course, the creator was a magical one. So it took Dominic different skills and that she knows.
Dominique got to know that the creatures name is 'Gnyte', it had no gender and it was a very powerful being. It had a shrine where people came to worship it find and also find solutions to their problems. Gnyte was only known by a few people who knew power. When Gnyte had a mission it's would Take the flesh and body of Dominique out to go and do its bidding.
So a lot of harm that was caused in different village was through her body, but all the of villagers saw was a little deal causing unforeseen destruction in the city. At first, Dominique was not comfortable with the creature using our body for its work, but at the point, it became all she knew. And it became all she was the creature thought or a lot of the Create Your thoughts are a lot of spells and magic, and also some traditional things that she knew. One day after the creature was done, using a body to carry out its job, it's went back to its abode on knowing that people traced it to its living place. They came and saw the little girl and saw the little girl who they know to have caused destruction and killed people in the village. So they took her with them, unknown to them that the creature had already entered the body of the little girl again, while they taking her for prosecution, she unleashed her is power on them. She smites them down and burns all of them down into ashes.
Just to save the body of the little girl. Then the creature came out of her body of her body and told her that it was time for them to separate. She told Dominique that it needed to go somewhere higher because her power was too much for this earth the and that it also had a different destiny.
Gnyte jumped out of her body and told that it was time for them to separate. Gnyte told Dominique that they both they had different path to follow in life, but it assured Dominique that it will be with her whenever needed. And if she needed it, She knew this spell to summon him. Dominique cried, she did not want Gnyte to go. Gnyte kissed her goodbye, I left her with imaginable left her with powers on imaginable powers.
Dominik did not know where to go. So she remembered her parents' house' so she went there.
She I met a mother and father in the house, they screamed and called out the whole village that telling them that the witch is around.
There were pictures of her posted all over the village because she was wanted for a ransom. Her parents knew about this so they alerted the security officials in the village and awaited their ransom. Dominique cried and pled with them not to hand her over but they not to, but they wouldn't listen. Dominique realize that her parents, especially a mother took to the forest just so she could get lost. She figured that a good mother would have tried to look for her child and when she finally found the child, there will be some sort of joy but that wasn't her case. Instead, her mother tried to take her back to the village so that they could kill her. She had no plans of coming back for her neither did she try to look for her. But the moment she showed her face, they tried to sell her for a ransom. Her parents were hell bent on killing her. When she realized that a parent actually took her to the village council to be judged.
As they tried to take her for judgement she unleashed her anger and summoned fire to destroy all of them including her parents.
When the villagers saw these, they knew that this was no ordinary person. They had to also go spiritual to destroy her. They called upon priests and exorcists and they decided to perform an exorcism on her.
Steel resided in a village at that period when he heard about a powerful little girl who destroyed people that provoked, so he always wanted to meet her.
So when he saw that the villagers were able to get their hands on her. He knew that this was the perfect time for him to get her for himself.
While they were performing the exorcism still got men to come with him. They came into the place where the exorcism was being performed and everyone fled off when they saw him in all his monstrosity. Nobody could wait.
Steel held out his hands to her and that was the first time she would ever spoke to him.
He asked her what her name was.
"Dominque." She said.
"Okay, Dominic. Would you like to come with me"? He asked politely.
"Yes." she said she followed him.
She saw that he was different from every other person and she was ready to do anything for him. Steel took care of her since then. Dominique showed steel the things her powers could do.
Steel puts Dominique on a pedestal. She has always been very precious to him and he does not do joke with her for any reason.
Since then, the Dominique has been a weapon for Steel's empire and together they are impenetrable and very I've been hanging around
Dominic is a very precious asset and he never takes it for granted
Steel witnessed the life and our growth and he also witnessed our powerful she is. One could say Dominic is the most powerful witch around because nobody knows where power comes from now its limit.
Steel imagined why his rivals are such cowards? Why wouldn't they show their faces? They just kept coming and going. None of them stood or showed their face. Dominic later told Steel that she was going to go on a spiritual trance for days and she does not know when she will be back. So Steel had to be the one in charge of his fortress alone till she was back.
