Chapter 71

Luca was so excited. He knew that if Eric was here right now, he would never want to leave.
"No wonder you ran away from me. Last time I asked you for his number. You knew that it was a huge catch." Luca said.
Violet laughed.
" Actually, I did not have his number at that period" she said.
"Hmm. What do you mean you did not have his number?" Luca said.
"Yeah, I did not have his number at that period. And I was so ashamed to let you know. But later, I immediately tried to get his number the next time that we saw." She explained
"So how did he know when to meet you or something?" Luca asked.
"He is just always a mysterious person." She said.
" Of course his mysterious, rich people are that mysterious. They don't want everybody in their business and all. man, you're such a lucky girl. Do you know if you have any friends that swing the other way? Luca said.
Violet laughed out loud. She laughed because the friend that Luca was seeking for might not just swing the other way, but he might just shapeshift to a werewolf.
How was he going to live with that?
Violet and Luca slept off on the bed after a lot of gisting and talking.
The next day Violet decided that she was not going to work yet. She took a jog around a neighbourhood with Luca and she noticed that a lot of people were staring at her. She wondered why these bitches kept looking at her then she remembered that she had actually been missing for a while. And people were wondering what happened and how she was found. But no one could approach her to ask her what happened.She was waiting for the first idiots who would approach her.
She is the house owner now. Nobody could talk to her anyhow. And those stupid housewives who said she's working in a library because she's bored could see now that she's not bored. She loves her work at the library and now she owns her home. Violet jogged with pride.
Luca decided that he was going to take violet and have some waffles and ice cream. So they did while they were at the waffle shop. Who came in? It was Detective Cooper who came to the restaurant for breakfast and he saw violet. He was shocked. Violet was so frustrated when she saw Cooper. She knew that she had to answer a whole lot of questions. These are the kinds of things that she was trying to avoid. Should have just stayed indoors.
But she could not avoid it. One way or the other It was still going to come up. Detective Cooper approached "violets!" he said in shock.
"Hi, detective."
" violets." He said again.
"Hello, detective. That is my name and I'm answering"
"How come? We've been looking for you? And also, Luca, why didn't you tell us when she came back?" He asked.
"Oh, like the way I told you and she was missing and he did nothing about it?" Luca couldn't wait to answer him.
"What do you mean? We're working on it?" Cooper said.
"No, you are not working on it. You were looking for shady stuff to link her with?" Luca said.
" Look, I don't have any time for this. Violet what happened? You've been missing, We had nothing from you." He said.
"Well, well, I went on vacation. Thanks for caring." She said,
"Vacation! And none of your friends knew about it. What sort of vacation is that?" Cooper asked.
" Are you my dad or what?"violet said.
" We have opened up a case file for you."Cooper said.
"Okay, then what else did you do after that?" she asked.
"We started to question people. Now I have to go and apologise to all the people that I questioned." Cooper said.
"Who did you question? If I may ask?" Violet was curious.
"Well, people that we thought had something to do with your case. Like, like your boyfriend, the married one. And his wife." He said.
"Well, I guess you will have to apologise." Violet said.
"No, no, no, , I'm not going to take this. I think you'll have to come to the police station for questioning."
" You want to ask me about going on vacation? Please, detective. Don't even start with me today. I'm trying to have breakfast here. Maybe one of these days. I will pay you a visit at the station. Don't worry. I'll bring coffee or cappuccino. Which one do you prefer?" She said,
" This is not a joke. Miss violet. We had to question people…" Cooper said.
"oh, thank you for actually caring for me. But like Luca has said, you were just trying to find out dirty things about me, It's not like you really cared. But anyways, you can tell your bosses that I am alive. And I am well. So please don't worry about me and also, thank you very much for your service detector. You have very much appreciated it. "She said.
Detective Cooper was so angry at violet. This is why he never wanted to take her seriously. He knew that she was up to no good. look at her even looking better than when she left. Maybe she actually went on vacation like she said, or one of our drug lords kidnapped her. And she found a way to get out and get on their good side and now they gave a good bonus. She looks really good. His thoughts.
Now, he was going to open bigger cases although he wasn't going to tell his bosses will not want to hear anything about this time. Because it seems like all the cases he has on her keeps going into the drain. This time, he was willing to bring that down. How could she make a fool of the law?
How could she make a fool of him? Now what would his boss say when he tells them that she has been found and she only went on vacation? If you ever brought any case concerning her to his office, it will be turned down the drain. And he would never be taken seriously. He was ready to do anything to get dirt on her even if it meant pinning something on her. He thought.
As he left angrily thought of how you would go and apologize to Chris and his wife for questioning them stupidly about the stupid missing girl now, she has made him get in the bad book of rich people.
She has made a complete fool of him. He was so angry.
Sandra was feeling very relaxed as they did not hear anything about finding violets she knew that the creature must have eaten her or something. She knew that she was just hallucinating when she heard the creature talk. She was going through a lot of emotions at that moment. So a lot of things must have been going on in her head, She thought. At least now she's dead. And nobody's disturbing her husband anymore. Neither is her ghost, or the police. The police do not have any evidence against them because there is no body and even if they find a body it will be destroyed by the marks of destroyed Wolves or whatever the hell that creature was. There was no way they were going to trace this back to her. She had gotten rid of all the bodies that the monster destroyed at the warehouse and she had cleaned it nicely.
She had her sanity and her husband back now.
Meanwhile, Chris had already forgotten about violets. He was hoping they would find out the period. But when they didn't, he knew that she was already dead, and he just had to move on with his life and his wife or find someone new. He Missed Violet very much, but there was no way he could go and rat his wife out to the police. He was going to lose him both ways if did that.
If he wanted to cheat on his wife this time, he would have to be extra careful and not make try to arouse any suspicion. It would be very hard for him to move on to the next person knowing that his wife killed the last one. But he couldn't live with a boring murderer for so long without trying to gain his sanity somewhere else.
He needed someone that would remind him of the lovely violets and would also make him feel how violets made him feel. But he just had to lay low. The only advances that were very obvious and easy for him to get was Barbara and he was not all about that life.
She was very similar to his wife. They were both around the same age. And they had the same personality.
He knew that Barbara was also capable of killing someone, especially after she ratted him out about his affairs with Violet. That fool! he could not do the same to her because he had more to lose and Barbara was a crazy bitch of course.
If you expose Barbra's secrets to her husband, she would rather kill her husband first even before the secrets gets to him so that she can get all these properties. That is if she isn't already killing him slowly.
Chris has had enough of old hags who think they run the world because they are wicked. He needed to let out some nuts before he goes nuts for real So he decided to take a drive to the club.
