Chapter 86

Violet was down for a few days, but after a lot of constellations, from her friends, a lot of movies, and chocolate with wine and all, she figured that she had to get herself back to workagain. Hell, She's the owner of a library now. And if she ain't doing a relationship, right, at least she should be doing business right? She thought
　　Violet carried herself up again with the hope that Steel will come around soon. She worea pretty dress, then went to work just like normal. When she got to the office, she received a letter that the mailman dropped at the office. Violet wondered what it was. When she opened it, she realised that it was the reply for the proposal that she had droppedat Chri"s.
　　She saw that they put a check of $300,000 in the envelope. Violet was so happy she was heartbroken but she had money to do what she wanted. She was happy that her plans for the new writers were actually working out so she focused on that.
　　violet did not know if she should call Chris and thank him and his wife for the check. Or she should act like she never saw it. She figured that she should have a little bit of courtesy and actually called them since it was business. so she did. she did not have Chris's wife's phone number. But she had Chris' number. So she decided to give him a call.
　　"Hello Chris." She said over the phone.
　　"Hi, Violet. How are you? I'm sure you received the check." He said .
　　"Oh yes, I received it, is your wife there? I wanted to thank both of you for being such wonderful sponsors to my business proposal. You're the best. I hope we can do business better some other time. Is your wife here, can I talk to her?" She said,
　　"No she's not here but I will send a message." Chris said.
　　"Oh yes, please do that and take care of yourself." She said and cut the phone before Chris could otter another world that had nothing to do with business.
　　Violet was fully prepared for business . And she prepared fully for a library launch because this time she had the funds available. Her heart was badly broken. Violets picked up the pieces. And was still trying our best to move on.
　　While violence planned for the launching of the library
　　Luca and I workers were of good help to her.
　　Luca tried his best to not make her feel so lonely. He also wonderedwhat could have happened that made Steel just break up with her like that.
　　Steel was a very nice person, at least a few hours that they spent together, Luca could see that he was actually a good person. And he was a person who knew what he wanted.
　　On the day of the library luncheon violet already sent out invitations to different people, writers and people who were willing to come and listen and also sponsored the new young writers in our community.
　　To Violet surprise, it was a success. Chris and his wife were present at the lunch. She move them as she saw she saw them approacher
　　" Hi. Wow. I never knew that we would become good friends. I never knew that you would come." Violet said.
　　"But you invited us, we just don"t want to get into any trouble with you," Sandra said.
　　" Wow. I never knew you guys would actually come. Yeah, I sent out an invitation but I wasn't expecting you to come. I hope you do not come out of fear or something. Wait, did you think I would do something funny if you didn't come? Come on, you don"t have to be scared of me.
　　But I am very glad that you're here. And also, I give special shout outs to you in the statement I made. You are the biggest sponsor in our library, and I give a shout.
　　Sandra shook her head.
　　"We are not scared. We just came as a courtesy ." She said,
　　" Okay, if you say so. Well, I give a shout out to you. And I told the people that you are our biggest sponsor, your company has really tried for the young, writers here, and they really appreciate it. I know that soonwe will be able to do better business together without fear of anything, ``Violet said.
　　"And what do you think is there that we have to fear? Sandra said,
　　Violet laughs
　　"Sandra, Sandra, Sandra. You keep amazing me? And I don't know. Anyways, I don't know what you have to fear. But when you see fear, you would know, don't you think? I mean... You"ve seen fear before haven"t you?"She said as she walked away from their front.
　　Sandra. And Chris did not know what to say. This violet actually knew what she was talking about. She knew about the monster. And she has something to do with the monster.
　　As Violet was busy greeting the people who came, and introducing her writers to publishers, she saw someone in front of the microphone, trying to give a speech.
　　"Hello, hello, everybody. Good evening. Well, I'm new in this community but just realised that the owner of this library is doing a really good job trying to bring our young writers. I'm a businessman here. And I like to invest in good things. And for this reason, I'm going to be sponsoring these writers with a sum of $150,000 just for the cause of the writers." He said.
　　Violet was shocked. She did not know who this man was.
　　He sounded French. And it looked really handsome with dark hair and a very beautiful face. But she had not met him before. Who was he? She wondered.
　　Then he came towards her.
　　"Thank you, Mr…"
　　"Marquise" He said,
　　Mr. Marquise, Oh my God, I don't know you. How did you hear about our library?" She"s said .
　　" No, I just saw you're doing something good in the society and I thought to lend a helping hand." He said
　　Violet was so excited .
　　Luca was shocked at this. He wondered who this strange man was thatjust came and donated $150,000.
　　"Wow, Violet was really inluck. Luca thought.
　　even Mara was surprised. Shewas also there for the library launch and when she saw the young man and how we looked handsome . And now he dropped the sum of $150,000. Just like that. Mara wanted to know who this man was immediately.
　　Violet was still in surprise, as she wondered what she had done to deserve such good fortune on such a day.
　　The library launch was obviously a success as everyone could see. At the end of the function, Violet, and Luca , Mara and some other few workers were trying to clear up the library. And this was already late at night.
　　Then violet saw someone knocking at the door of the library. She went for what to check and she saw that it was a young man who had dropped a check of $150,000 just for the donation towards the writers.
　　She was so excited. She opened the door for him and told him to come in. He greeted everyone who was at the library. "
　　"Good evening, Mr. Marquise. I really appreciate what you did today.
　　I really appreciate the job you are doing. You don't know what you're doing for the young writers."
　　" Oh nothing really is nothing. When I see someone doing something good for the society. I always want to support. I also enjoyed some books that were read , these writers are talented."
　　"You said you are new in this area right."Violet. Asked.
　　" yeah, I'm new And you're Violet, aren't you? if I could get your contact, I don't know if that would be of burden to you. But I would not want to stress you in any way. I just wanted to make more friends in the area." He said
　　" Oh, of course. Sure, sure. You can get my contact violet typed her phone number into Marquises phone. And he thanked her then waved her good night.
　　Mara ran to violet immediately.
　　" Who is that violet? I don't know, as you saw, he donated towards the cause.m
　　" And I don't know him violet? I think I like him. I mean, if you know him, can you introduce us?" Mara said.
　　" I said, '' I don't know him. I just met him today just like you. Why didn't you come forward and introduce yourself? Mara, please. I don't have the strength or the energy for this. Would you please let's get back to work so we can go home immediately." Violet said
　　But, didn't he collect your phone number? Yes, he did but I did not collect his and even if I did, I am giving not it to you. This is a stranger like he said, he is new in the area. So please let him breathe first before that." Violet said
　　" Alright, alright, Violet. I'm going to be on your neck over this man", Mara said and continued what she was doin.
　　"Jeez I don"t even fuckin know the man!" Violet said.
