Chapter 67

Dominique has been waking up to sweet mornings of lovemaking and good sex. Her kids made her so happy too and her husband was just the best. Dominique did not ever wish to go back and she hoped that the people that rely on her in the real world can move on.
Waking up to love is better than any power she came for.
One morning, she woke up and the old house was quiet. She wondered where everyone had gone. So she took a walk around the house. When she got to the Parlour, she met her husband, laying dead on the floor, and a wild animal feeding on our kids. Dominique was in rage. She tried to fight the wild animal but it was too late. With her hands, she tore the wild animals from skin to bone. There was blood all over the house and her body. When she was done with this wild, mysterious animal. She went outside in rage to see what sent such a thing to her family. She screamed, and it shook the whole forest. The birds and creeps of the woods fled in fear.
Dominique cries as screams make animals all over the forest run Helther Skelter. The forest became quiet all of a sudden that she could only hear her voice over and scream in the forest.
When she screamed again, three elders appeared in front of her in black robes and their faces were covered with the hoodies they wore covering their face, but all she could see within their face was darkness. They had no face. Dominique looked up at them to ask what they wanted but they were quiet. She screamed at them.
"What do you want? Were you the one that took my family? What gave you the right to take my family? She said. "I will ruin everything you have! She yelled as she grabbed hold of their robe, but they felt invisible.
She was trying to grab a hold of their robe and They told her to be calm.
"Why are you trying to live a life that is not yours?"
Their voices echo together.
"What do you mean? This life is my, this is my family. This is what I live for." She said,
"No, Dominique, this is not what you live for. Your Destiny does not align with this path. And you want to keep relieving this in your memory. It is impossible. No matter how long it takes to get this happiness you think you deserve. It will come to an end and the end will always be terrible. So why do you keep punishing yourself? So why don't you just face your reality and let it go?" They said.
"Reality? And what is my reality?" She asked.
"To be the most powerful, to spread the wonders of magic around the world. To reshape the world. You are no ordinary person, You are the reflection of the gods, You are the reflection of all sorcerers and witches. you are the reflection of magic and you need to carry out Your purpose. Why do you settle for less?"
They said with their voices echoing in harmony.
"I have been carrying out your purpose for my whole life and now I want to live for my own purposes." She said.
"No!" Their voices echoed.
"Dominique, You were mentored by a god, You were shaped and brought to life by a god. So why wouldn't you do the same? You are a God. Why would you do the same? How many people have you mentored so far? How many people have you shaped? You have not carried out one purpose since you got your powers. You are supposed to rekindle the light of magic and sorcery to the world.
But no, you're going about searching for ordinary things, which little humans long for when you are not even one of them. You have been living your life in vanity, now it's time to wake up." They said.
"Shut up!" Dominique screamed. "Shut the hell up!
Where is Gnyte? Don't fill me with shit. Even if you wanted me to mentor other humans. Is that why you took my family from me?" She cried.
"They are not your family. They are just a distraction from your purpose. And now they have gone.
You have your own family. You have someone with your power Out there in the world but she is clueless. But you need to bring more people to see the light. They said
"Shut the hell up. I don't want to hear anything from you anymore. Where is Gnyte?" She asked as she started to run from the elders But their shadows kept following her.

"Get the hell away from me!" And immediately, the elders vanished. Now she could feel power again. The forest became silent again and Dominique continued her journey.
She got to the side of the ocean, and she jumped into it, trying to commit suicide. But instead, she grew fins and swam down the ocean. She went down to the bottom of the ocean and met the Goddess of the ocean.
"Hello, Dominique , we have been expecting you." They said
"What have you been expecting from me? I have no business with the ocean. Why did you give me fins and a tail to swim to this place?"
"Because we have been expecting you. And because you can do whatever you want." The Queen to her slaves to clean Dominique up and make her look good.
They took Dominique, cleaned her up, they made her up beautifully and dressed her like a Royal Queen then presented her to sit among the kings, queens, Gods and elders of the ocean. And they began to question us.
"Why have you been far from home? Dominic, we have been expecting you. Why wouldn't you come to us?" They questioned.
"Come to you to do what? Dominique, you are an emblem of power. You can have whatever you want. You can hold the ocean and you can rule the earth. You can rule the Seven worlds, even below the ocean, but you keep running from your purpose. Why have you chosen to live with humans? Why wouldn't you mentor new people to bring them up to the world so that they can serve our purpose under and above the waters?"
Dominique felt like they were speaking gibberish. All of avsudden her stomach grumbled. She felt very hungry.
" Oh your food is ready, We have been waiting to feed you all our life" The Queen said.
Dominique did not understand what was going on. They served her a bowl of soup and she took it. Then her eyes opened. She could feel vibrations of her power running through her body veins. She felt so powerful.
this was not what she came for she thought
" What did you do to me?" She asked, "What have you given me?" She asked
"We gave you food Dominique , the food of the ocean which will make your purpose come to reality." They said.
"What do you mean? I have no business with the ocean. Take this thing out of me and let me die." She commanded.
"Yes, you're right. You have no business with the ocean,but we have given you a part of the ocean so that when you go to the real world, you can shape people to bring them back here to serve our purposes all over the universe." They said.
"You came here for power didn't you? There you have it. That's just a bit of the power you're about to leave with. That's the power of the ocean. Now you can continue your journey and get the remaining power that you seek for." They said.
"This is harassment! I never asked for your power, this is not what I came here for." she said
"You came here to die and be reborn, you came here to lose and gain, you came here to become a god" They said.
Dominique did not understand why she had the powers of the ocean instilled into her. She has never had any business with the ocean. She only had businesses with the earth and whatever components it was made of.
Well, it was not a bad idea either.
She was still in pain from what he had experienced with her family. It was like someone kept reopening her wound to make her hurt, more and more again. But she blamed herself this time. She knew that this was going to come to an end. She knew that this was not meant to be. Her family had died a long time ago. She just wanted to move with the thought or the feeling that our family was alive, even though she knew deep down in our hearts that they were dead, and they would never come back. But she did not regret bein with them one more time, she just hates to see them go.
