Chapter 72

When detective Cooper got back to the office, he did not want to tell anybody that he had seen Violet, because he did not want to look stupid. So he decided to keep it to himself. He thought that he should also tell Chris and Sandra about it. But if it did, they may raise an alarm, and everyone in the office will hear about it. So he decided he was going not to tell anyone, Until someone else notices her.
When violet got home. She called Steel and told him all about how she saw the detective and how he was on a neck asking her questions about our about. steel toed violets, go and visit the police station. So it will not seem suspicious at all. He told us to visit and apologise for stressing them that she should tell them that she needed time off from everything. And that was why she went on vacation without telling anyone.
Violet then got dressed and went to the police station. When she got there. She met another police officer. And she told him that she wanted to report herself. The officer asked for her name and she told.
"Oh, you are the one that I've been missing all these while. Where have you been?" he asked.
"I was not missing sir. I had to take some time off from everything that was going on in my life. I just lost my job and my house. And everything was just overwhelming and I needed to take a time off. I contemplated suicide but now I have gotten better now." She sprinkled some emotional blackmail.
"Oh really? I'm so sorry about that. We're very worried. We thought you were missing? Yes, please. I hope you've gotten help?" he asked
"Yes I am, and I am better now thank you. I just wanted to report myself so I won't stress the police. And thank you guys for your service and everything that you did to look for me." She said.
"Oh, you should thank detective Cooper. Let me get him here for you." he call detective Cooper to see violet.
Violets could tell that the detective Cooper had not informed the old police that she was back. So she smiled at him and tried our best not to rat him out to his colleagues.
"Thank you very much, Detective Cooper. You've been so much help. My friends told me about how you've been running as a helter skelter trying to look for me and trying to put things in place. Everybody appreciated it. I Thank you so much for your services. No money is enough to pay for your service by appreciating you. In fact, as a little token for trying to look for me when you thought I was missing and everything that you've done, I brought you a little gift." She said she handed him a small gift bag. Cooper wondered what was inside the bag. You open the bag to find a small box that had an expensive looking wristwatch in it.
oh no ma'am I can accept this. he said.
"Oh of course i insist, you have to you have to accept it I got that for my boyfriend but you deserve It more.'' She said,
The other police officers smiled and giggled at Cooper, and all what was going on around him. He accepted the wristwatch and thanked her. Violet hugged him.
And left the police station.
The other police officers envied him. They told him that she was actually a very beautiful girl. And she is not bad looking. They told him that she was actually trying to make advances at him If he reads between the lines. How could she get him such a decent gift?
Cooper's colleagues did not know that he was gay. He was hiding it from the people at work. Not like anybody cared in the first place. Cooper went to his office and opened the wristwatch, he saw that the wristwatch was not bad at all. It was really good with Most of his outfit but I wondered why. He opened the watch to see if something shady like a tracker or a recorder was hidden there but the watch was clean.
Violet was in such a happy place. And she hoped that something bad would not just come in right now and ruin everything that she is feeling right now.
She knew that there was always something to ruin a happy mood. But she hopes this happiness lasts forever. Look at drove back home, and she told him about our plan for resuming work the next day. She had no car at the moment because the last time the kidnappers took her. They destroy the car long just to erase all the evidence. So Luca was the one driving from place to place for the meantime.
But of course a car was the least of our worries for now.
She lost a car, but she gained the house and also a business. She could buy a car whenever she wanted. And she could buy whichever one she actually wanted. Although she had no savings at the moment.
Now everyone at the station knows that Violet has been found. She came there and destroyed everything he has been working towards. He did not want anyone to know that she had been found. But now his bosses have headt. They even heard that she brought him a gift, now the case will be shut down. This violet keeps taking ten steps ahead of him. When he takes a step forward. He was frustrated. He thought that maybe it was time he actually let go of anything concerning Violet for a minute. But Cooper knew that his hunch would not allow him to leave her be.
He knew that there was just something shady about her and he wanted to find out even though he just finds out for finding sake. He just wanted to know. Perhaps Where did she get the money to buy him such a beautiful wristwatch? A lot of things keep going through his mind concerning violet. He knew that no matter how hard he tried he was still going to go after her as everything until he is satisfied with his findings.
Detective Cooper's boss is called into question about all that happened, and how it should leave the case alone.
" Look, even the girl you're looking for just went on vacation. And now she has been found. Now I heard you guys are good friends. She got a watch. That's some beautiful watch." He said as he saw Cooper's wrist. He was already rocking the wristwatch; he just couldn't wait.
"Wow. I mean, do you still have any case her?" His boss asks.
" Oh, sir this is just a wristwatch, it has nothing to do with the case." Cooper defended.
" look Cooper, You didn't even do much in this case. And yet, you got a gift. But you keep chasing something that is not there. Just leave the case alone. The missing girl was found and she says she was okay. So leave it. We don't have anything against her. You don't have any evidence against that. You don't have a warrant. So why do you keep pressing on that issue? Or do you have a a crush on her? Should I help you talk to her?" Cooper smiled.
"No, sir. I don't, she is not my type." Cooper said.
" She's really beautiful. And she's not your type. So what is your type?" His boss asked.
Cooper just kept smiling. His boss could see that he did not want to talk about that.
"All right. Well, the case for the girl is close now. And I think you can go. And also, I think you should go and apologise to the people that you have questioned about this case and tell them that gal has been found okay?"
"Yes, sir." He said as he left the office, but he knew that what he had at the back of his mind is different from what his bosses were telling him, but who needs their permission anyway.
His bosses are all stupid. They Keep telling him about how he has a crush on violence. How are they so blind, that they could not see that is gay? he wondered cooper knew that he was just too smart for all this for all these dumb skulls around him, and that is why he decided that if he has a zit to scratch concerning in any case, he will scratch it alone till it bleeds and until he finds what he is looking for, he will not bring that case to the light of day where his subordinates are.
He could not just wait to be right. He could not wait to prove everyone wrong and make them see the evil that is bitch who calls herself violets is. Oh, she thinks getting in a watch is going to get him off her back. No. That won't get him off her back. Though the watch is quite pretty. Is going to rock it and that is what he will be wearing when he is arresting her IN. handcuffs. He will be wearing his beautiful wrist watch while she will be on his "blingy cuffs."
