Chapter 54

Chris started to shiver as he saw what was before him. Later when he looked around he saw his wife and they both started screaming and crying but violets stopped being scared. She was just looking at how the creature moved, then Violet started walking towards it slowly.
She tried to hold herself back from going to meet this creature but, but she couldn't help it.
She felt that the familiarity heightened as she moved towards it and if this creature was going to kill her, she wouldn't mind because it actually saved her life from being raped
She would prefer to die from this creature than let four men to pounce on her. So she moved closer and closer. when the werewolf saw her moving closer, it moved back a little and Violet then walked to the werewolf the moving. Violets went further to touch the creature in the skin.
The Werewolf eyes jammed with violet's and she could tell that this was totally Steel. it looked at her and went forward to grab Chris and his wife by their little neck. Sandra had already passed out at this horror and Chris joined her when the creature grabbed him. and tried to take them outside. Violence ran to it and begged.
"No Steel. Don't do it." She said and held on to him.
The creature looked Violet in the eye and it became calm. Violet looked at the werewolf from head to toe.
It had two different sets of colored eyeballs. One of its eyes was yellow, and the other was blue. Violet feels that this could might be the most beautiful monster she had ever seen. His skin was shining. She felt like taking a picture with Violet was so sure that this was Steel she imagined that this is what Steel was hiding from her. And he never wanted to show her.

The next day Luca and Mara were yet to hear anything from violet. They were worried. Mara was scared that she was kidnapped or dead?

But the kids older none. It was already two days. And they heard nothing.
When Chris woke up, at the warehouse, he thought prayed that the dream he was having was over. But when he saw his wife beside him, he looked around and he saw that the place was still filled with blood and body parts. He felt a little pain on the side of his chin but he ignored it.
He woke Sandra up and he asked why her face was scarred. Sandra also looked at him and told him that his face was scarred.
Then they realized that they were not dreaming the held themselves together and decided that they were going to go home and no one was going to hear about this. They decided to Clear the warehouse themselves because they brought this trouble upon themselves. The couples were so quiet throughout their cleaning. They tried to get rid of everything and all the bloodstains by themselves without letting anyone know about it. They never said a word about what happened because they did not even understand it.
Chris had a lot of questions in his mind. So did Sandra They spent their day clearing bodies parts and trying to make everywhere look on unsuspicious due to what they had brought upon themselves.
When they finished at midnight, they got into their car and drove home. On their way home, none of them said a word to each other.
Chris went to the bathroom and took his bath. Sandra also did the same. She took a bath in a separate bathroom. Then they both sat down on the bed quietly, looking at themselves, and sighing from time to time. They did not know who will break the silence.
Finally, Chris decided to break the silence.
"Sandra, how did you get there in the first place?" He asked.
"Look, that does not even matter. But I want to know what that was?" she asked.
"I should be asking you, I was driving when some men attacked me and I passed out, by the time I woke up, I found myself in a warehouse with you, Violets dead bodies and a monster. How did this happen?" Chris said.
"Look Chris… Okay fine I kidnapped her. I wanted her to pay for what she had done to me but I have nothing to do It's the dead people and the creature that came Killing people around. I Have nothing to do with it Chris. In fact, I just think we should let this thing go especially since we don't know if the girl is dead." Sandra said.
"You think she's dead?" Chris asked.
"I wouldn't know! She moved towards the creature. How can She moves towards that kind of creature? And why did It scratch our face and let us go Instead of killing us." She asked.
They have so much questions on their mind did not even know where to start
"Look, If we don't hear anything from her, it means she's dead and nobody has to know about what happened." Sandra said.
Chris was so worried. He was so worried about Violet and he hope she wasn't dead.
But if she was alive The secret about the wife will end up coming out and it will not be a good image for their family name, he thought. But Violet was his baby and he knows that he will always find a way to tame her.
Later there was a Knock at the door. The couple were scared to check who was at the door. Chris told Sandra to go and check door but Sandra told Chris to go and check for himself then she ran to her room.
Chris tiptoed to the door to peep and he saw that it was a man.
He opened the door and the man said that he was Detective Cooper. Chris knew immediately that this was about Violet but he had to comport himself.
The detective asked if he could have a word with him and also asked if his wife was around, Chris let him in and told him that his wife was out.
The detective asked him how he got a scar on his face and he claimed that it was a little accident in the bathroom.
Chris was shaky because he didn't want to hear that Violet was dead.
