Alex’s POV



Cyn is my best friend, always has been. But lately I feel like we’re growing apart. She’s a gorgeous girl and sometimes I have to warn dudes away from her. I had to make them realize that she’s already mine. I’ve been waiting for her 18th birthday, I’m certain that she and I are mates. I want the first time we kiss to be when we can feel the tingles. I wanted to beat up Tucker the other day when they were making out in the library. I’m supposed to be her first kiss! Me!
My wolf wanted to rage when I walked in on them. Then that Josh guy shows up and he’s been sniffing around her. Neither of them are listening when I tell them to back off, it’s frustrating.
I laid in bed after she left the room thinking over the past couple days. She’s been acting really weird around me ever since the day that Jessica and I screwed. I stayed up so late that night that I missed school the next day. Then apparently Jessica told Mary how good my dick was and she wanted to get a taste. I growled, frustrated.
I know that Cyn has a crush on me but I haven’t been able to bring myself to ask her out. I just don’t want things to be weird between us if it doesn’t work out. If we were mates though, it would for sure work. I would have the guarantee of the moon goddess that we were meant for each other. I pulled at my hair and let out a sigh.
*knock, knock, knock*
“Who is it?” I called out, looking at my phone. 3am.
“It’s Mary.” She said.
“Come in.”
She opened the door and began to strut in my direction. I already knew that she wanted my dick, the question though is if I’m horny enough to deal with her bitch ass.
“Not tonight, Mary. Maybe tomorrow.” I told her.
“Come on! You said that last night, too!” She whined in her annoying, high pitched voice.

She huffed and stood up suddenly before storming out of the room, closing the door loudly.
I sighed and closed my eyes, willing myself to go to sleep.



Cyn’s POV


I rushed back to my room after leaving Alex’s room. What was that about? For a second, I thought he was going to kiss me. That’s crazy, right? His actions has never shown me that he even likes me that way.
“Where did you go?” A sleepy Helena said.
“I went to the bathroom and oh my god, I ran into Josh! He wouldn’t leave me alone and then Alex came up and forced him to leave. What the hell, right?” I quickly recounted what happened to her.
She suddenly sat up, “damn girl! You must have magic lips or something!”
I hit her shoulder, “be serious for a second!”
“I am serious! You’ve got two hot guys kissing you and drooling over you, that means you have magic lips!” She then pouted at me since I hit her shoulder again.
“You’re incorrigible!” I exclaimed.
“But you love me.” She winked at me.

“That’s besides the point. What am I supposed to do about these men? I mean, I know I like Alex, but his behavior lately has been a turn off, I didn’t even know he was sexually active.”
“I think you should sleep on it and think about it in the morning, after all it’s the middle of the night. So come back to bed?” She asked.
I nodded and crawled back into the bed, willing myself to go to sleep.

Next thing I knew, it was morning.
I groggily sat up.
The night before came to mind. What was Alex’s deal anyway?
I stretched out and yawned.
“Ow!”I hear muffled next to me. I look and see Helena under my outstretched arm. Oops.
“Sorry Helena.” I whispered.
“It’s okay,” she said.
I sat up and decided to head downstairs for breakfast. I got dressed and headed down.
“Good morning, Cyn.” Tucker greeted me with a large grin. I returned his smile, “good morning, Tucker.”
“How’d you sleep, beautiful?” He asked. I blushed, “I slept fine, thank you. You have a good night?” I asked.
He simply smiled and said, “the best.” We walked with each other and upon arriving in the kitchen, ran into Alex. He seemed surprised to see the both of us together.
“When did you two become friends?” He asked.
“Actually, we went on a date last night.” Tucker answered. Feeling embarrassed at the confrontation, I tried to sidle my way out of the kitchen but Alex wasn’t having it.
“Is this true, Cyn?” He asked. I nodded, “yes we did and I enjoyed myself very much.” With the way that Alex has been acting, he has no right to act jealous.
He huffed and walked out.
“What’s his damage?” Tucker asked. I shrugged, “I have no idea.

The best part about Sundays is being lazy. Today I was supposed to go see Josh about our project but I don’t feel like talking to him right now. I decided to play hooky and just go for a walk. I inhaled the pine and earth scent of the forest while I leisurely strolled. The rocks along the river caught my attention with how colorful they were. I looked around and realized I was in an area of the forest I hadn’t adventured in before. Excited, I continued my trek, trying to take in as much nature as possible.
*snap*
I heard a branch snap somewhere behind me. I swiftly turned around but didn’t see anything. I moved closer slowly to try and see what the noise was.
“You really should be more aware.” A voice murmured in my ear. I felt a hand move my hair from my shoulder before I felt a nose gently run it’s way along my pulse.
“Garrett.” I whispered, “what are you doing?”
“Nothing sweet Cyn, I was just out in the woods and saw a sweet damsel all by herself. I must say, you’ve put my brother in a mood. He’s more brooding than normal. It’s really quite entertaining. It makes me wonder, what is so special about you for him to show interest when all he does is ignore most of the female population?” He drawled.
“Obviously you’re wrong, he seemed very well acquainted with another woman yesterday. In fact they seemed…close.” I told him.
He tsk’d, “oh! So you caught him with his pants down! That explains why he’s in such a shitty, almost desperate mood. That is his own fault though. I can’t blame you for being upset.”
“See! I’m glad you see my side of things.” I said.
He pressed his body closer to mine until his front was flush with my back. His breath tickled my neck as he murmured, “I know the best way to get back at him. If you’re interested.”
Curious I asked, “what is it?”
I could almost hear his smile as he said, “sleep with me. That’ll teach him.”
I whirled around and scoffed. “You’re a pig, just like him.” I pushed him away from me and began to walk off. He grabbed me by the elbow and pulled me so that the front of our bodies were melded together.
“I think it’s a great idea, you should definitely consider it. After all, your body was made to sin.” He huskily said before winking at me. Blushing, I could feel my pussy grow wet.
His nostrils flared and his pupils expanded as he grabbed my hips harder.
“You like dirty talk, don’t you? Naughty Cyn.” He whispered into my ear. I pried his hands off me and said, “you’ll never know.” Before I took off running. When I felt I was far enough, I finally slowed down to breathe.
“Cyn? Are you okay?” I looked up to see Josh. Being the last person I wanted to see, I turned on my heel and tried to find my way back to the pack house.
“Hey Cyn, you’re going the wrong way.” He said.
I snapped, “how would you know where I’m trying to go? All I’m trying to do right now is get away from you.”
He took a step closer and I took a step back. We continued this dance until I ran backwards into a tree. He grabbed my shoulders and looked into my eyes before leaning down and closing his. He smashed his lips against mine and resisted my struggles. I tried to tell him to stop but all opening my mouth did was grant his tongue entry. I felt him taste every inch of my mouth and I almost lost myself in his embrace. When he pulled away, I finally came to and slapped his right cheek angrily.
“How dare you!” I stomped off, leaving a regretful Josh behind. I didn’t look back to see if he followed this time, though I’m certain he didn’t.
When I reached the pack house, I decided to hole up in my room after a long shower. My walk was way more emotional than I was anticipating.
