Chapter 111
“I need to go to the Fae Realm,” said Sin and there was a collective gasp all around the room. And then everyone started talking and telling her that it was a mad idea and she would be insane to try something like that. And Sin waited for the sound to stop and then when everyone saw that she was not even bothered to listen they became quiet.
“So finally since all of you have voiced your myriad opinions on how this is going to be an idiotic endeavor I would like to tell you that it does not matter what you think or what you say. I am doing this.”
“Why would you risk your life for an entire kingdom or realm all of a sudden? Have you forgotten that you are the Queen of a kingdom? That countless number of wolves are dependant on you? That the vampires, the elves and the wolves and your family all of them are counting on you? Have you completely lost your mind that you are planning to go on a suicide mission?” asked Credence and this time his eyes were not black any longer like they usually are. They had become completely red.
“If you keep on saying like that then I am thinking that you don’t wish to accompany me on this journey and mission?” asked Sin as she raised her brows at Credence and immediately he calmed down.
“You want me to accompany you?” he asked with a smile and his fangs were bared and the twins screamed looking at him and immediately he closed his mouth.
“Really girls…this is too much…you know…the both of you are aware that he is a vampire and when he is excited he might show fangs then why are you screaming at him like he is the Dracula?” asked Sin as she glared at the twins. Then she continued,” You know what? It was my mistake to allow you in this meeting in the first place. Enough said and enough done. You both will go to bed now.”
They opened their mouths but Sin said,” I am not ready to hear anything else that comes out of your mouth right now. I have said, so bed, now.”
She looked at Serafina and she said,” I shall put them to bed, my Queen.”
When all three of them were out of the room the bubble was wrapped once again and everyone could resume the conversation.
“All of you thought that it was going to be a solo suicide mission, isn’t it?” Sin asked and they all nodded and then she said,” I thought so. You all think that I am absolutely stupid, that is the reason you considered that I would do this.”
“Really, Sin it is not that. Neither we think that you are stupid. You are the Queen of Amorentia, in the name of Goddess for crying out loud. Why would we think so?” asked Drima and then Credence and Callum nodded at the same time and the bubble started wobbling.
“What is happening?” asked Callum as all of them looked at it.
“The Fae Prince is trying to come in,” said Sin as she closed her eyes for a moment and then again when she opened the bubble was gone and the Fae Prince’s face came on the reflection of a glass.
“Prince Xander? Are you alright?” asked Sin as she stood up from her seat and Credence looked at the Prince.
“He is getting affected by the absence of light in his kingdom so badly that he is not going to be able to go on for a long time. Look at him, his aura is almost depleted. He needs immediate help,” said the vampire and the elf prince nodded as well when Xander looked up and spoke.
“Queen Sapphise has made it certain that there is no light left in the fae kingdom and the knife of sunshine has been lost. Without it we cannot reclaim back the power and I am at my weakest. I am hiding as long as possible in the woods in a different guise but it won’t be for a long time and I am not going to be able to keep up the ruse longer than a few more days,” said the Prince.
“What about your sister?” asked Elf Prince Callum and he said shaking his head with profound grief in his eyes,” Gone. All gone…I am the only one left now. My mother is being used as a womb for creating the next dark prince who is going to contest me to the throne. I cannot even think how much it has taken out of her for the sake of killing my father whom she loved more than life itself and now he is gone. And so is my sister.”
“I don’t have words to express my grief or my pain, Prince Xander. But don’t worry. I shall be coming to fight the Dark Fae Queen. I shall make sure that she is obliterated to so many bits that she cannot ever dare to stand up again. Don’t worry…we shall be off from this realm to yours as soon as possible,” said Sin as she tried to show that she was confident but both her mates could feel that she was teetering precariously on the edge of nervousness and anxiety.
They said,” we shall be there to help you in any and every way we can.”
Sin looked at them and said,” Now you are both doing the twin thing as well?”
But this time Drima said,” They are both your mates and they feel your discomfort and that is the reason that they are trying to help you out here. I suppose, that makes sense.”
“You have already mated with them?” came Prince Xander’s voice.
And all of them looked back at the broken Prince who retained none of his glory from past and was just trying to survive.
“If I need to survive this unlike you, I cannot run for I don’t have the option to run. I have to fight and for that I need to have every support that I can get from my end and your end as well. You have been judging me from the moment you first started causing my visions and I have dealt with you as nicely as I could. Now I would just say that your problem is not mine and leave you there in the realm of the Dark Fae to just die. Do you think that it is going to be suitable for you?” asked Sin with her brows raised in a challenge and the Fae Prince just looked at her and did not say anything.
“I am guessing that you don’t wish that fate to befall on you. So I suggest that you start treating me like you would treat your Queen because I am the Queen of Amorentia and you are at this moment nothing but an escaping Prince who is begging for my help at my doorstep,” said Sin. It was almost like she spat the words with malice.
“You are never going to forgive me for telling you things that you should have known before hand. I know that. And yes, I am begging for your help.” Then suddenly a stone dropped from the reflection and he said,” This stone will bring you to me in the Fae realm wherever you are when you step in this kingdom. It will be a long ride. So you need all the help you can get.”
“That is more like it,” said Sin with a drawl and then she said,” I am going to make sure that the kingdom is returned back to the rightful and worthy ruler this time. So that the fae realm does not have to face a consequence like the vampire realm in the future.”
