Chapter 120

Sin and Credence had known that they would be the ones to enter the Fae Realm first and Serafina had already formulated a plan on how they were supposed to gain entry to the realm. It was supposed to be impossible but Serafina said that she had been working on a combination of magic and with the elf and vampire blood along with the royal wolf blood it was supposed to do the trick.
“And why is it supposed to do the trick?” Sin had asked. Blood was something precious for the vampires and when he had to give her three drops of blood Credence had visibly hesitated and Sin wanted to know the reason.
“Because none of you are supposed to be together in the first place. Even you are an enigma, Sin. Never forget that. And I am still working out a lot of things on trial and error basis. Just take a leap of faith with me this time and I am promising you that I am not going to allow any harm to come over you.”
Credence had said,” We know that you will protect her for this reason and we believe you. But you know what worries me is that what will happen when we are out of this realm in the next where everything is supposed to be out of control. We won’t have any allies there.”
“You don’t need to worry about the allies, Credence. We are going to deal with it one step along the way and we need to cross the bridge when it arrives. The only thing is we don’t have time in our hands and we need to go to the Fae realm because the Prince does not have a lot of time to survive this out on his own. Are we ready with all that which we are going to take with us to the trip? All the weapons? And food that we might need?” asked Sin and Credence smiled.
“Do not worry. I might be a vampire but I know how to take care of my bride pretty well. So do not worry, I shall not let anything happen to you no matter what,” he promised.
All of them had reached the Crystal room and were standing while Serafina was making a sigil on the floor near the crystal as fast as possible. Even though they were careful not to let anyone understand that the Queen would not be in the kingdom and the kingdom and the throne of Amorentia were vulnerable but no one had any clue as to how long was Serafina going to be able to hold this up. After all the time and the pace at which it flowed was different in all the realms and time was a lot faster in the Fae realm which was a relief but reaching and rescuing the Prince and then saving the kingdom alone with only a vampire by her side was going to be a difficult endeavor altogether.
The sigil was finished and Serafina stood up and the sigil glowed and it mirrored a mark in dark brown on one of the faces of the crystal and there was a burst of light on one of the sides in thin air.
“That is your cue. You have got only a few seconds to make it to the other side. I have already made the tear but it needs immense amount of strength to be pried apart so Credence needs to hold it wide while you pass through and then he has got to jump in. Is that clear?” asked Serafina as a mother hen would and Sin nodded.
“Drima and you are going to take care of Amorentia and the twins in my absence. If Serena tries anything which might harm anything in this kingdom then you have the royal permission to obliterate her along with the Council. I don’t give a flying fuck about them except Mason. And no one is to know about the twins. Is that clear?” asked Sin and Serafina replied,” As crystal.”
“Then I need to state that I am leaving this kingdom in your capable hands and this is the beginning of a royal secret mission. Empasize on secret. Stay well,” said Serafina as she walked towards the tear that had been made in the space.
Credence held her hand then pulled it open as he screamed. His fangs protruded from his gums while the tear was opened and widened a lot more and Sin did not wait and did not even look back. She jumped inside and soon Credence was also trying to get in when she held it open from the other end. Fur started growing on her skin and arms from the pressure that she needed to exert to hold the gap widening. Credence was no where nimble as her and it took him some space than her to enter but finally it was done and from the closing tear Serafina looked at her friend’s face for the last time.
“It will be alright,” said Credence softly as they were in the Fae Realm.
Serafina looked at Callum on the other side and there was a crest fallen look on his f ace which would haunt her for the rest of her life.
“She did not even bother to say goodbye to me,” said the Elf prince as Serafina said,” Prince Callum, she did not say goodbye to you because she will be back soon enough. So right now the best thing you can do is cope with the situation and try and keep a kingdom from falling into utter chaos.”
Callum nodded at her and then said,” I am just sad to think that why did she think that I would not be perfect to be with her. What does he have that I don’t?”
“Care for her sisters,” said Serafina and when Callum understood what she was saying he immediately perked up.
“Really? You think so?”
“I know so because she has herself told me.”
