Chapter 91
“How are we going to make sure that the Elf Prince would feel welcome?” asked Serafina as they both walked in the direction of the War Room where Drima was waiting for them.
“I am certainly not sure about what are the things and ceremonies that you need to do with elves or even Elf Royalty. The fact that he was looking at me like he wanted to devour me should be a good sign, isn’t it?” asked Sin and Serafina could not help but snigger.
“What?” Sin asked and then said,” Have you spoken to Credence?”
“About what?” asked Sin feigning as if she did not understand what was being spoken of.
“Please don’t act like that. Don’t act like that you don’t understand anything about what I am speaking to you,” said Serafina and then said,” Have you told Credence about the multiple mates and then the demon seed which caused your birth and what the twins said a couple of nights ago?”
“Why do you think that he needs to know this particular piece of information?” asked Sin as she raised her brows. They entered the War room together as the guards opened the door.
Credence and Drima were looking down at the map of Amorentia and there was another man who was pointing at the map and then creating circles on the map. They looked like little pockets. Sin went ahead and asked,” What are those?”
“Those are the pockets of the energy where the Ambrose Crystal gives off the waves of the power at its greatest,” said the man and he looked straight at Serafina and not Synthia when he spoke. He had the same white hair which reached up to his shoulders and the high angular cheekbones which made them seem like siblings.
“Why does it seem like I am talking to your male version?” asked Sin and there was a burst of laughter on the other side of the room and all the eyes went in that direction.
“It is your sense of humour, and the way that you present yourself without even hesitating is what sets you apart from everyone else, my Queen,” said the voice and Sin could feel the heat and blush creeping up her neck and cheeks giving her a pinkish tinge. It was Callum, the Elf Prince.
“Prince Callum, what a pleasant surprise. I thought that you were going to grace us with your presence a few days later, and I might have had a better chance at receiving you and giving you the royal welcome that you should receive,” said Sin and then she immediately looked at Drima and said,” Why was I not informed of his Grace gracing us today at this meeting?”
“My Queen, please do not fret yourself. D not be bothered by my presence at all. I am here because my Vizier here, Nicolai, had felt a presence which was with you when you came to our realm and said that he needed to see her or else he would die of heartache. Now I would not wish that the most important and powerful magician in my kingdom whom I love like my own brother would die because of no reason,” said Callum and Sin could not help but raise her brows at this and then said,” I am certain that if the said creature was me then you would have not said it in such a pleasing manner so I am guessing that it is my Second in command, your Vizier was talking about?”
Drima and Serafina both started coughing and choking at the same time and Sin said,” Please, ladies….come on…we are all adults here…after all I am the one who is in problem because of some fuck up and I still don’t know the reason to that. Now don’t make this more difficult for me.”
Serafina looked at Nicolai in the eye as she stopped coughing and said,” How old are you?”
“Twenty five winters,” replied the white haired sorcerer. And Serafina said,” Hmmm…so shall we get acquainted with our magics?”
“Is that prudent, my Lady? That too when we have not been acquainted with our names or identities as well?” asked Nicolai with a hint of smile playing on his lips and Sin could not help but groan and then she growled.
“Both of you. If this is flirting, then please get out and get acquainted else where. I need to think and I can do without this sexual undertones and all the pheromones that you are releasing,” said Sin and Credence and Callum both started laughing earnestly and Serafina was giving her the stink eye and Nicolai was looking at her open mouthed. He probably did not have any idea that the Queen of wolves did not have any control over her tongue and could say anything at any point of time.
“Please come with me,” said Serafina as she looked at Nicolai and said to Sin,” You need to mate, soon enough or else this will grow worse.”
“Oh Goddess,” said Drima as she closed her eyes and sighed. Then she said to Sin,” Your Royal Highness, I am certain that this is going to be a private conversation. So if you would excuse me, then I shall make sure that you are not disturbed and get the privacy. The refreshments shall be here in a while.”
Sin sighed at her and said,” Please get me some deep fried bacons and chocolate, anything in chocolate. And the special mint lemonade that the cook knows I like. And also have some blood wine chilling in the basement freezer to be served to Lord Credence and Prince Callum is going to have all kinds of vegetable delectable.”
“I am not a vegetarian, my Queen. My people are, but I am not. So I am not averse to bacon or sausages or chicken wings!” said Callum and Sin groaned and then licked her lips and said,” A man after my own heart.”
Credence looked at her and said,” And you are the Queen of mine.”
Sin looked at him and gave a dazzling smile and then said,” We need to talk. All of us do. There should have been two more people in this room, one of whom is unconscious in the castle itself and the other one is in his own realm trying to hide from a murderous Queen. And she is the one who has put Luke in such a state.”
Sin was seething in rage and the hair on her arms were changing into fur instantaneously.
“My Queen,” said Prince Callum as he placed his hand on hers and she was back that moment.
“I am sorry…the thought that Luke is not here and is being hurt is something that I cannot tolerate,” said Sin as she smiled apologetically.
“What is it that you wished to speak to us?” asked Credence as he looked at Sin and she said,” Let’s have a seat. I think we will need to sit for this.”
Once they were all seated, Sin said,” Credence knows this but Prince, you do not. Before I was crowned as the Queen of Amorentia I had to go through the Summit where I had a vision which was shown to me by the Ambrose Crystal.”
The elf Prince waited patiently and curiously.
“There it was shown that I was going to have four mates. One wolf, one vampire, one elf and one Fae. All royal blooded. And all are going to have to mark me as I shall do to them. But last night I learnt something more shocking which was not shown to me by the crystal but I have learnt it to be true.”
“And what can be more shocking that this, my Queen?” asked the Prince. His demeanour had completely changed as he looked at her with a stone faced seriousness.
“That when I begin mating with all of you, a demon Prince will rise from hell to claim me as the Queen of hell as well.”
