Chapter 101

Caleb

The moment Reece moved to clock Nicholas right within his pretty boy face do I move to jump right in. Having already dealt with reporters barking at our feet do we now have to deal with both Nicholas and James.

My hand soon trying to grab Reece’s arm.

“Bro, stop. We just got rid of all the reporters. Don’t give them something else to talk about, it could ruin our lives.”

“Let go of me Caleb. I’m done with his games. He’s tormented Ella long enough. This ends now” yells Reece. Reece quick at yanking himself free of my grasp as he moves to hit Nicholas once again.

Nicholas quick to dodge the second hit as he moves to return the favor. His own fist now landing a direct hit within Reece’s stomach which causes him to double over.

“REECE!” cries Ella. Ella still standing behind us as the two of them continue to fight. Both matching blow for blow, hit for hit.

“Give me the girl. NOW”

“And I said piss off. She’s ours”

Continuing their fight amongst themselves do neither of us move to see James. James having some how slipped past us as he moved towards Ella. Ella’s voice soon being the only thing we hear as Reece and I both move to address her.

Our blood boiling by what we see. Ella now pinned against James’s side as James moves to hold her tightly against him. His arm firmly wrapped around her waist as he does.

Ella full of fear and panic as she tries not to move. Unsure what to do without hurting the baby. Her eyes filled with panic as she continues to look at us.

“Reece… Caleb….”

James soon chuckling as he moves to nuzzle her neck slowly. His busted lip soon brushing against her cheek in an attempt to kiss her gently.

Nicholas being the one to speak up next.

“Now who’s the one in control here? That’s right, me. For if I really wanted to, I could easily have James here murder Ella right in front of you, right here, right now and then pin the blame on both of you.”

Reece clearly seething at the thought. “You sick son of a bitch. Let her go. Ella’s just an innocent soul in whatever sick twisted game you have.”

“Innocent? I think not. We all know she’s slept with each of you as well as Kris. Whose to say she isn’t hiding something else hmm. Like maybe a child?”

At the mention of a child does Ella move to tense. Her body freezing at the thought of Nicholas possibly knowing. Unable to escape James while in the process.

James smirking as he moves to look towards Nicholas, both clearly amused by everything going on.

“I’d say she’s hiding something. Face it cousin, you were never interested in her father’s diamond mind. You only ever wanted her.”

“What?” growls Reece, as Reece moves to look back towards Nicholas. Nicholas only laughing as if it was funny.

“It’s true. Oh so true. For while diamonds might be a rare and wonderful thing, nothing beats finding one’s very own sister.”

At the mention of sister do we all move to stare. My heart racing at the word. “What? What did you just say?”

Smirking one of his famous smirks, does Nicholas move to answer back. “Sister. I said Sister. For Ella darling is my biological half-sister. Her father, who is my father, had managed to have an affair with Ella’s dear ole mother during one of her many performances. My father being the Mafia Dom of the Russian Empire only sought out beautiful things and I must agree her mother was indeed beautiful.”

Paling at the words does Ella move to shake her head. “NO! I don’t believe you! Your lying. LYING! There’s no way I could ever be associated to the likes of you. NEVER!”

James quick to chuckle. “Face it Starlight, you are. Your blood holds part Russian. A Bratva Princess to the Russian Empire. A Princess who’s destined to rule alongside the Russian heir.”

“NO! I’ll never rule alongside you. YOU MONSTER!”

Now trying to squirm free does Ella try to fight James. Reece and I soon over our initial shock before turning to Nicholas. Nicholas still smirking at the sudden revelation at what was just said. The five of us unaware of a new arrival until the sound of a voice, a female voice moves to greet our ears.

“Let Ella go or else I blow your brains out right here and now. Which means Nicholas will have one less relative within his family if you don’t” comes the voice of Alanna.

Alanna’s gun now pressed against James’s head. Alanna clearly behind him as she presses the gun closer. James growling the longer he held Ella. Ella still squirming as James continued to hold his ground.

“Try it, I dare you.”

“Don’t test me boy. I’ve already beat the shit out of you earlier. I won’t hesitate to kill you next.”

Growling again, does James move to look towards Nicholas. Nicholas now frowning as he moves to nod his head. James quick to shove Ella away. Ella stumbling as I move to hold her gently, my arms careful when cradling her.

Ella now clinging to me as James moves to approach Nicholas. Both clearly pissed by seeing Alanna, the Irish enforcer who was sent to protect Ella.

“Good boy. Now, I best think it’s time for both of you to leave here or else” replies Alanna. Her gun still trained on both of them, Nicholas and James having no choice but to retreat.

Nicholas quick to glare daggers at each of us in turn.

“Fine. We’ll leave… for now at least. But mark my words Knight. I will take her. One way or another I will claim Ella as my own. And when I do you won’t know what hit you.”

Then, with that said do both move to turn around. Both moving to leave. Alanna, Reece, Ella and I still standing in front of the Hospital until we were positive that both were officially gone from sight. Not wanting to risk anything further than we already have.
