Chapter 137

Third Person

~ Three Weeks Later ~

Three weeks and lots of things had suddenly changed. Especially for Ella and her men. For not only did Ella give birth to her twins, there were also minor issues that had risen as well. One of them being her son. Elijah.

Elijah being the name she had chosen had suddenly developed slight issues with breathing, while Faye, her daughter had seemed to be slightly underweight but other than that both seemed to be totally fine.

The twins currently home after spending about a week or two within the NICU. Ella currently breast feeding her babies as she silently sat upon her bed. The babies currently set up within her room for easy access during feedings.

Reece and his brothers periodically checking in on her as they tried to get all the last minute things done before their big day. Reece off doing last minute details within the nursery while Dylan and Caleb worked on last minute wedding details.

Elijah slowly yawning once his tiny belly was full. Ella quick to smile as she moves to lay him down carefully alongside his sister, Faye. Both of them now sleeping once bellies were full. Ella finally having a moment of rest as she moves to freshen up. Her mind now on her wedding dress and that of her wedding.

‘I really hope they can physically fix my dress before the wedding’ wonders Ella. Ella still unsure if that was something they could do. As it would take a miracle for them to pull it off. Reece, Dylan and Caleb having called up the shop in where Ella had gotten the gown and asked to do a rush fix.

A rush that would require them to take new measurements as well as resize the entire gown. A dress Ella wanted to wear for each of them as the dress itself was stunning. Butterflies beginning to stir the longer Ella sat thinking of her big day.

Ella too consumed by her thoughts that she failed to notice when Caleb managed to sneak in. Caleb quick in approaching as he silently wraps his arms around her waist. The touch enough to make her jump upon contact.

Ella soon spinning as she moves to see who it was only to relax when she saw it was Caleb. Her eyes wide. “Caleb? What are you doing here? I thought you were with Dylan?

“I was. But we managed to finish ahead of schedule. Now he’s with Reece while I on the other hand came home to check up on you and the twins. I wanted to make sure you didn’t need any help” replies Caleb. His eyes playful as he continued to hold his woman.

“Mmm… not specifically. But, both kids are sleeping which means I finally have some down time. So unless your up for cuddles or a nap then we don’t have a whole lot of time to do much else before their next feeding and I could really use a nap” answers Ella truthfully. Her body tired once giving birth to her twins. Ella also not cleared to do much else either.

“Well then, if my baby wants a nap, then a nap she shall have” replies Caleb as he slowly begins massaging her shoulders. Ella almost melting into the touch as she moves to hum in satisfaction.

“Mmm… that feels wonderful Caleb, don’t stop please” whispers Ella as she continued to enjoy the massage. Caleb skillful in what he was doing.

“I’m glad you like it. I mean after all, you deserve nothing but the best and then some” remarks Caleb. Caleb happy that he could be of service as Ella was the mother of their children and thus deserved the world.

Caleb

A few minutes prior….

“There, all done. And just in time for the wedding as well” I move to say out. My eyes pleased by what we were seeing. Having hired a wedding planner in the beginning did we manage to make things absolutely perfect.

The wedding planner a big help. Always going above and beyond our needs to ensure that everything was perfect. Dylan currently on his phone with the bridal shop in where Ella had gotten her gown. The same gown she was going to show us once standing before us at the altar.

Dylan’s voice calm as he moves to ask the necessary questions. “Is everything going smoothly with the gown?” My ears quick in listening to every little thing he said. A part of me hoping and praying that they would be able to complete the task since Ella had given birth and had to have her gown remeasured.

Our beautiful twins now happy and healthy even when both had minor complications at the time of their birth. Both able to overcome their challenges like little champs. Dylan soon quick to end the call once getting the answers he seeked. My focus still on him.

“How’s the dress? We’re they able to fix it?” I ask, a piece of me knowing that Ella would be heart broken if she didn’t have a gown to wear before the big day. Especially the gown Kris had said made Ella instantly light up like that of a Christmas tree. The gown made specifically for her. A gown we all hoped was fixable.

“It’s a go. They were able to fix the dress and even ensured us that the gown would be ready by the big day” sighs Dylan. Each of us now able to relax.

“Good. That means Ella won’t need to stress anymore” I counter, for while a wedding dress would be nice, it was the principle that Ella could wear basically nothing and still look beautiful in our eyes for while she may have been pregnant with twins her body still looked like a Goddess.

Our Goddess.

“My thoughts exactly. But if we’re done here I’m going to go and check in on Reece, make sure he doesn’t need any last minute help over at the estate before we finally reveal the nursery to Ella” replies Dylan. Each of us dying to show Ella the nursery but never could as things never worked in our favor.

“Yeah, we’re done here. Everything’s all set for our big day. But since your checking in with Reece, I’ll head home and check in on Ella and the babies. Make sure everything’s still good over there” I offer, deciding to be the one to do it.

Another part of me wanting to see Ella anyway. To see her and our children. Our need to make sure she was constantly safe a big deal for us especially since Nicholas and James were still MIA. Both still lurking within the shadows waiting to pounce.

Dylan quick to speak. “Go then, we won’t be long. We’ll just finish up any last minute detail and then head home ourselves once we’re done.”

Nodding my head do we both move to part ways. Each of us heading in opposite directions as Dylan moved to head for Reece while I went for Ella. My thoughts solely on her and the babies and my instant need to hold her. To feel her within my arms and make sure she was fine for the rest of the day.

A feeling I would never grow tired of as Ella was ours. Now and forever. And we would be damned if we let another person come between us and what was rightfully ours to begin with.

*Author’s note: Hey guys. Just a heads up that Chapter’s 138 thru 140 probably won’t be posted until Monday or Tuesday as these next three chapters are vital and I want them to be perfect as 138 is the physical wedding, 139 is the reception and 140 is a wedding brawl and because of that I can’t rush posting these.
