Chapter 68

Ella

At the mention of Nicholas’s name do I instantly regret it. The line now silent. A piece of me wondering if Reece had hung up the phone. Having gone into the bathroom when Reece called so as not to wake Caleb.

“Reece?”

Now chewing on my bottom lip do I move to try again.

“Reece? Are you still there?”

“Yes Stellina. I’m here. Sorry. Don’t worry baby. But promise me that you’ll listen to me when I say this, your dream was only that, a dream. Caleb, Dylan and I are here, and we aren’t planning on going anywhere anytime soon. Now, I need you to be a big girl for me and try and go back to sleep. Your plane will be leaving in about 12hrs from now and soon you’ll be home where you’ll be safe. And if your good, I might just have a surprise for you upon your return.”

Upon hearing the word surprise do I feel an instant wave of curiosity. My hands moving to wipe my eyes of any remaining tears that fell from them. “Okay.”

“That’s my girl. Now then, please try to sleep and we’ll see you later when you land”

“Alright”

Then, with that said do we move to hang up the phone. My eyes now seeing the time. The clock now reading 4:15 am, which meant that our flight was indeed less than 12hrs like Reece had mentioned. Caleb having booked us a later flight so that we might be able to do some sightseeing before leaving.

My feet now heading for the bathroom door only to pause. Caleb now standing at the door. His hair all disheveled as he now stands sleepily before me.

“Ella? Is everything okay?”

“Caleb…I…”

Unsure of how to answer him does Caleb become more alert. His eyes now locked on mine even as he continues to study me. My body now tingling from his gaze.

“Answer me Ella. Is everything okay?”

“…. Yeah. Reece’s voice helped calm me down. Sorry if I woke you.”

Now moving to advert my gaze does my body begin to shuffle under Caleb’s gaze. Caleb’s strong yet gentle hand now moving to lift up my gaze back over to his. His hand still holding my chin.

“Never hide your eyes from us sweet girl. No matter what. Now, care to talk about it?”

Swallowing thickly I move to lock eyes with those of Caleb. My mind racing at what to say to him. “I had a really bad dream. That’s all” I mutter, my eyes still on his.

“Why didn’t you wake me up? I could have helped you” asks Caleb, a tinge of hurt now lingering within his voice.

“I did. Honestly I did. But you didn’t budge. I swear I didn’t mean to wake up Reece. I just thought he’d be awake that’s all.”

At the sound of my rambling voice does Caleb move to silence me with a kiss. My body quick to relax against his. Caleb eventually pulling away once he was sure I was fine.

“Ella…. Baby…. I don’t care if you called Reece or Dylan. Hell they’d probably agree with me. But if for some crazy reason that I don’t wake up, promise me that you’ll try other methods of waking me up okay? It’s why I’m there. To make sure your always well taken care of.”

“Okay” I whisper, unsure of what to say to that.

“Good girl, now lets go back to sleep. We both have an important flight later and I’m not sure about you but I’m looking forward to some fun once we’re home.”

Blushing at the word fun do I instantly remember Reece’s words. The promise of a surprise more than enough to make me comply. Now wanting my gift more than ever. “Alright” I whisper. Caleb now moving to escort me back towards the bed before both of us move to climb in. Both of us now getting comfortable yet again before Caleb moves to wrap his arm around my waist, his arm pulling me close.

“Sleep Stellina. I’m here. Promise”

Nodding my head do I move to relax. My body now wrapped up within Caleb’s embrace as my eyes begin to close. A soft kiss reaching my shoulder just as sleep takes over and I’m finally out like a light.

6 Hours later…

It’s now about 10:30 am when I finally begin to stir yet again. Surprised that I actually slept the rest of the night without a single nightmare considering my previous one was intense. The dream being where each of my brothers were murdered in cold hard blood and standing before each of them was none other than Nicholas. A cruel look within his eyes as my brothers laid motionless upon the ground.

The dream enough to jolt me wide awake. And while I truly did try to wake up Caleb, Caleb just wouldn’t budge which left me reaching out to Reece. Unsure if he would even be up at 4 in the morning but knew I had to try. Thankful when he was. His voice soothing as he and I talked.

A soft smile soon rising as I begin to stir more. My body now searching for that of Caleb only to panic when I feel the bed empty beside me. My body quick to rise as I now begin searching for Caleb.

“Caleb?”

Scanning the room, I continue to panic. Not happy that I couldn’t see him. “CALEB” I call, now in full panic attack as I attempt to scurry from upon the bed only to pause when Caleb moves to exit the bathroom. A towel now wrapped around his waist. His black hair damp from being in the shower as my navy blue eyes move to admire him from the bed.

Already forgetting why I was looking for him as his own blue eyes move to lock on mine.

“You called baby girl?”

Blushing, unable to speak, do I move to nod my head. Unsure if I should explain myself or not. Caleb now sauntering over to me and the bed. A smirk now rising as his eyes watch hungrily towards me.

“Words Stellina”

“…. Yes”

“Why?”

“Because…” blushing again I move to continue with my words. “I couldn’t find you. I thought you had left me” my eyes now shifting towards the side of the room even as the bed dips. Caleb now hovering above me.

“Never Stellina. We’ll never leave you”

Then with that said does Caleb move to claim my lips with his. A gasp rising as he moves to slip in a tongue. A rich moan rising as Caleb moves to dominate my mouth. His body slowly pushing me back against the bed as he moves to pin me with his. My hands now pressed against firm muscles.

Caleb’s warm firm hands now moving to cup one of my breasts as a breathy gasp rises from within me as I move to pull away from the kiss. “Caleb…”

“Relax Stellina. Let me handle everything. I’ll make every worry you have fade from within you until your nothing but a hot moaning mess as I lay here pleasuring you.”

Whimpering at his words does Caleb move to kiss me along my jaw. His perfect lips now trailing light kisses towards my outer ear before nipping the lobe. A deep moan rising from within me as I slowly move to tilt my head. Caleb soon making his way down and along my neck as he moves to leave hickies. His mouth now biting, nipping and sucking at the skin as he moves to claim what was his.
