Chapter 13

Ella

“FINALLY” I exclaim, happy to be finally done just as the last bell rings, signaling the end of school as students all move to leave for home, my mind replaying Reeces words since this morning about wanting to take me shopping after school as he along with Dylan and Caleb had wanted to spoil me, something in which they’ve always done since growing up.

But….. I draw out within my mind, this could be the perfect opportunity to see what they’ll do if I up it a notch, I muse silently to myself, my mind hatching out a plan as I move to pack up my things before sliding my bag onto my shoulder before moving to leave the now empty classroom, having been the last student to leave just as a voice moves to call out to me.

“ELLA!” cries a voice, just as the said person moves to wrap themselves in a hug around my waist causing me to stumble slightly from the force.

“KRIS” I laugh, regaining my footing as I move to hug my friend.

Giggling, Kris moves to pull away her 5’7 Athletic body now standing before me as my eyes move to take in her beautiful hazel green eyes as well as her ash blonde hair. “Are you done with classes?” asks Kris, her eyes still focused on me.

“Yeah, I was just about to head out” I reply, knowing I still had to tell her about my parents. “Hey Kris?”

“Yeah?” questions Kris, her eyes glancing to me as we move to walk for the main entrance.

Sighing I move to pause before finding the courage to tell her, “Are you free Saturday?” I ask hoping she was.

“Yeah, my parents are out of town for a couple of days, why what’s up?”

“Could we maybe hangout? There’s something I need to tell you” I admit hoping she would agree to hangout with me.

“Of course, you know I’d take any excuse if it meant hanging out with you” giggles Kris causing me to smile, glad she was on board with hanging out.

“Good” was all I said just as we moved to exit the building, my eyes now landing on a big black SUV that sat parked just outside the door, Reece leaning against the passenger side of the car, my eyes lighting up at seeing him.

“Who’s that?” whispers Kris, not knowing that was my brother as I never told anyone outside of my parents about having older siblings as I wasn’t one to share what was mine and thus kept them a secret from everyone including Kris.

“Just an acquaintance, but I’ll explain all once we hang out this Saturday okay, pinky promise” come my words before I move to hug her goodbye before rushing down the stairs and to where Reece now stood, the back passenger door opening only for me to see Caleb in the backseat as I grin.

“CALEB!” I shout happily as I move to hug him once in the backseat of the vehicle, a chuckle drawing my attention towards the front only to see that of Dylan.

“Hello Principessa, how was school?” asks Dylan, his eyes locked with mine.

“Long, but I’m glad it’s over, which means all I have to do now is graduate and I can finally be done with it” I sigh, knowing that school wasn’t hard it just sucked.

“Of course Princess” chuckles Caleb just as Reece moves to get into the driver seat.

“Where’s Grant? I thought he was picking me up?” I question, not expecting to see my brothers until after I got home.

“He’s home with Hayden, remember, I told you we were going to take you shopping after school, and now that school's out, we’re going shopping” chuckles Reece, amused by my blush at being foolish or so they thought as I was about to pull off a small little plan of my own. A plan that would push the very boundaries I was attempting to get.

“Oh, right” I murmur just as Reece takes off for the mall, a mall in which I could very well buy anything I ever needed or wanted in a lifetime.

30 minutes later…

When approaching the mall, I couldn’t help but feel a tiny bit of excitement for this would be my very first shopping experience with Reece, Dylan and Caleb and I couldn’t help but wonder what would be going through their minds once I started putting on a show, for while we shopped I would specificly hand pick items to show them just so I could gage what kind of reaction I would get when wearing the said item for them back at home.

Girl, you're playing with fire, I say to myself, my eyes now eyeing the area just as Reece parks the car.

“Okay Agapi, we’re here, so remember, if there's something specific that you want just say and we’ll get it for you okay” remarks Reece as he moves to look at me, my head nodding as I move to climb out, too excited to wait any longer.

“Someone’s excited” chuckles Dylan as he and Caleb move to climb out of the vehicle as well as Reece, each of them coming to stand next to me as we move to head inside.

Amused, they move to humor me as I quickly head for the first store I see, a formal dress shop, knowing that there would be formal events that my brothers would most likely have to attend and I needed to make sure that I had a couple of dresses to fit the part.

Pausing, they each move to arch an eye at me, causing me to giggle. “What?” I ask sweetly my face now facing each of theirs.

“Formal dresses?” asks Dylan, now curious as to why I picked this store first.

“Yes, because if I’m going to be living with the lot of you, I need dresses that’ll help me fit in during one of your social events, after all I’m not clueless, Father and Mother use to tell me all the time about some of these events and formal dresses are one staple that I do not own” I move to tell him, remembering all the times Mother and Father had gone to events like that and were always dressed to the nines. As if they were famous Hollywood movie stars.

“And you’d be correct in that assumption sweetheart, there’s always some sort of party that we’re forced to attend but that doesn’t mean we’ll force you to attend if you don’t want to” remarks Caleb with a chuckle.

“And who says I wouldn’t want to?” I add, not one to give up without a fight, a fight I would make sure I won by the time we finished with our shopping.

“Okay Agapi Mou, easy does it, if this is the first store you want then this shall be the first store we shop” comes Reece’s voice causing me to smile as I then move to enter the shop my eyes seeing rows upon rows of dresses many in different colors and sizes and shapes.

“Hello and welcome, my name is Jane, please if there’s anything that you need please feel free to reach out” smiles the woman known as Jane her eyes silently watching my brothers like a piece of meat that makes me all but angry, a fake smile now rising to meet that of Jane’s.

“Why thank you, but for now I think we can manage it” I move to say quickly clearly not liking the shop lady who all but keep staring at my brothers, the very same ones that belonged to me just as I belonged to them, Grants words still playing inside my head as it reminds me about owning what was mine.

MINE, I all but growl deep within my mind, attempting to hold back my anger as I try to forget the uneasy feeling that I had.

“Are you sure?” asks Jane, her eyes still focused on my brothers.

“We’re sure, but thank you though” remarks Dylan as they all but brush her off, a small huff making its way past her lips as she moved to walk away a smug look making itself known on my face, happy to know that my brother’s weren’t having any of that.

“So what dress first?” Caleb asks curiously.

“Mmm, not sure, why don’t each of us move to pick out a couple of dresses each and then I’ll move to try them on, maybe even model them for you?” I randomly say, hoping to light a fire beneath their asses as we each move to search for dresses.
