Chapter 95

Ella

It’s mid-afternoon by the time we finally finish our spa treatment. Having gotten facials along with massages as well as other cute little things that once we had finished our skin was practically glowing. Kris having paid for the entire spa trip even though I offered to help pay for it.

“You didn’t have to pay for it all, I could have helped you know.”

“I know you could have, but I wanted to do this for you.”

“Kris… I…”

Now moving to hold up a hand does Kris move to silence me before continuing. “Girl. It’s your birthday. At least let me treat you just once.”

Hesitating slowly, I knew that if I didn’t at least let her treat me once the she would forever be mad at me. While another part of me knew that if she treated me now, then I got to return the favor once it became her birthday. It was how our relationship worked.

Sighing, I move to nod my head. “Fine. But just for today”

Giggling at my words do we move to find Alanna. Alanna currently outside all while finishing up a phone call to her boss when finally spotting us. “You girls all done?”

Smiling to Alanna, I can’t stop thinking of how well she’s fit into our little group of girls. Alanna being another female within our vast sea of men. My hand quick to touch my belly. A part of me really wanting to know if I truly was pregnant and if so would I be having a boy or a girl.

My heart now hoping for a little girl of my own.

My mind now elsewhere even when Kris moves to speak up. “Yeah, we’re done. But now…. I’m super hungry. That massage really made me hungry.”

Rolling my eyes at the words do I move to answer her back. “Your always hungry. Your such a glutton.”

Sticking out her tongue do we both continue with our banter. Alanna just watching us until we’re finally done. “You know, if you really are hungry we could go eat before I take you two to go shopping” offers Alanna.

Alanna clearly aware of our need to eat. Kris and I now done bickering as my belly moves to growl. Kris now laughing while Alanna just listened. A blush rising from embarrassment.

“Sorry” I magically say to both. Now wishing the ground would swallow me whole.

“Don’t be sorry Ella. We’re all a little bit hungry too” adds Kris. Alanna quick to nod her head in agreement. My embarrassment now gone as we move to enter the vehicle once more. The three of us now deciding on where to go for lunch.

“Where too?”

“How about the Pearl Cove? That was a nice little place. I’m sure there not too busy for lunch” I offer, quick to remember the restaurant that we all went to that night before going over to Nebula to dance.

“Sure. We can go there if you want, right Alanna?”

“If that’s where little star wants to go then sure. I’ll be more than happy to take us there.”

Smiling at the offer, we move to head for the Pearl Cove. Excitement bubbling within me as we eventually arrive. My eyes quick to see an outdoor patio. A patio I wanted to sit and enjoy my lunch on.

~The Pearl Cove~

Upon reaching the Pearl Cove does Alanna once again move to park the car before each of us move to exit the vehicle. My excitement rising, as I had already seen it during the nighttime so now I had wanted to see it during the day.

My phone suddenly buzzing as I move to see who it was. My hand quick to grab the phone only to see it’s from Caleb. A smile rising along my lips as I move to see what he wrote.

Caleb: How was the spa baby?

Ella: Amazing! I’m now grabbing lunch at the Pearl Cove with Kris and Alanna.

Caleb: Alanna?

Ella: Yeah, my new personal assistant. I thought you each knew. Uncle Rian sent her.

Caleb: Oh yes. That Alanna. Sorry baby, I didn’t mean to confuse you. Reece, Dylan and I are busy planning our butts off for you. So you go and enjoy your lunch date with Kris and Alanna, it’s on us. Order whatever you want.

Ella: Okay. Thank you Caleb. Love you guys. See you each soon.

Caleb: We love you too baby.

Quick to smile I move to tuck away my phone. Caleb and my other two brothers now back on planning my big birthday surprise. Kris, Alanna and I now entering the restaurant.

“Hello and welcome to the Pearl Cove. How may I help you?” asks a lady once we move to enter the building, the greeting much similar to that of Aeranas.

“Yes. We’d like a table for 3 please. Preferably one out on the patio if we could” says Alanna. Alanna having seen how I reacted to seeing the patio upon our arrival. A smile soon rising along my lips as I move to whisper thank you. Alanna just nodding her head.

“Sure, right this way please” then, with that said, the lady moves to grab 3 menus before leading us out towards the patio. Each of us unaware that we had caught the attention of another who was currently dining there as well.

The person in question soon flagging down a waiter.

“Yes Ma’am. How might I help you?”

“Yes. See that girl with the black crop jacket?” says the woman as she moves to point to Ella and her little group of friends.

“I do, yes.”

“Good. Can you please make sure to slip this into her drink when serving her?”

Hesitating at what the lady was hinting at does the waiter move to look at her and then to Ella before finally speaking yet again. “Ma’am… I’m sorry but I can’t. I’d lose my job here if I did.”

“Please? Pretty please? I promise I’ll reward you handsomely if you do. Trust me, it won’t harm her. Now then, will you please do as I ask you?” tries the woman again, hoping that if she was sweet enough that he’d do it.

“No Ma’am. But I’m sorry, I just can’t” and with that said does the waiter move to walk away. A frown now rising along the woman’s face.

“Well then… if you won’t help me then I’ll just do it myself” and with that the lady moves to put her plan into action.
