Chapter Forty Eight

I swiped to the right, and picked up the phone call. "Keddy, you called." I was trembling in fear, and praying silently that he wasn't going to say anything that would get me into trouble, or make him wanted.
"Put the phone on loud speaker!" She said.
"It's already on loud speaker, miss Sandra." I prayed that Keddy would get it. The fact that someone asked me to put the phone on loud speaker and the name I had called was enough for him to understand that I wasn't alone, neither was I safe.
"Babe..." That was a title he barely ever called me by. "Are you okay? Is everything okay where you are at?" I was glad that he caught the joke, and didn't go ahead talking about our plans to elope.
She probably knew about it though, but I still didn't want him saying it in front of her. "Okay, hang up now." She yawned. She probably found the conversation extremely boring, and I was glad she did.
"So, that's your special friend?" I could swear there was a little bit of jealousy in her tone.
"He's a friend." I gave a plain response.
"Just a friend?" She was asking too many questions.
"Uhhm, you said I was going to shower, can you show me to the bathroom?" Her finger pointed me to the direction of the bathroom, and I was happy to be away from her.
I didn't feel safe here and I was certain that I was going to escape at the slightest opportunity. It wasn't wise of me to mop around in all those open rooms, as it was easy to guess that she had cameras in those rooms. Some of the cameras were visible and in places that it was easy to spot. For the others, it was impossible to guess if there was any camera in it.
When I got to the bathroom, I took out my outfit and got into the shower. I had to admit it was refreshing. I used the soap I saw there to lather my skin and knowing how unhygienic it was, I didn't use the sponge. When I was done bathing, I dried my hair and skin with my blouse.
"You took forever in there, I was beginning to wonder if you were doing other things asides showering."
What other things do people do in the bathroom?
I said nothing. I was waiting for her to tell me what to do next.
"I have some clothes that might fit you. No worries, they are all new outfits, I haven't worn any of them. Check the room next door." She was standing in the hallway that led to the bathroom, waiting for me to come out.
I gave no response, I went into the room and changed into a really loose polo shirt and a short skirt. The outfits were probably meant to be hers, as they were really short and big.
The lord of the Sherlock Head Mafia Gangsters was not who I taught she was. She wasn't as scary as I envisioned she would be. She wasn't a man, and she was both stout and pretty.
I still didn't have that fear for her like I thought I would for the sherlock head mafia lord, when I meet with him. She was a pretty young lady like myself, and my mission here was simple. Find a way to hack into these computers that she used.
Get the other members of her gang to talk with me. Set them all free from her snare, kill her and although I wished I could change it, kill my father too.
"Hello," I heard her voice outside of the room I thought was going to be mine. I was done changing, so I flung the door open, and stared back at her grey eyes.
"I have something for you." She was with a contract. "You have to sign this. Basically, I own your life now. You will do as I say, and you must never be caught unhappy. I mean, I'm about to give you the best of all that life has to offer. Actually, you have no choice other than to sign this. But I don't want to make it seem like I'm forcing you so you have to sign it anyways."
How could a girl as young and as beautiful as she be so cruel? Not with those innocent eyes. I couldn't believe that a female would have this amount of wickedness inside of her. But I was in even more shock after I read through the contract.
Not only did I have to do all she say, one of what she wanted me to do was be her lesbian partner. That was the height of it all, I wasn't signing the contract.
"I'm sorry, Sandra but I'm not signing this contract." I tore the pages one after the other, she watched in awe. "I cannot do any of the things stated here."
"What audacity." She still couldn't believe someone would stand up to her like I just did. Even I couldn't believe I would stand up to her. "First you call me by name. Twice actually, you called me Sandra twice! Next, you tear the legal agreement that took me so long to prepare."
"Okay, now what?" I tried to sound fearless. I was really nervous.
"I see you are very courageous." I waited for her to retrieve her gun, or do something scary. Instead, she gave a smirk and walked to the bed in front of her. "But you are not more stubborn than I am. There can be just one boss in a gang and that's me"
Did she think I was interested in her position?
Well, I wasn't. But I bet it felt good to have as much power as she did.
"You have to either do what I say or..." Another phone call came in, and it was my phone.
How could I have forgotten to mute it after what happened the last time?
"You know what to do, answer the phone call."
