Jwala:

"Can't you hear what I said?"

I walked towards him praying God not to kill my feelings on him and give me the strength to cool his anger.

"Did I do anything wrong?" I asked in a low voice.

"Yes"

"What did I do? I am sorry, but I don't know what made you so angry. Please tell me, so that I won't make you angry again. "

"Where are you till now?"

"I am preparing breakfast for you."

"Why? Did you remove all the maids and cook?"

"No, today is our first day of marriage, so I thought to prepare something you like."

"Why did you wake up so soon today? You are not an early riser as far as I know."

"It means as soon as one gets married, there is no need of maids anymore because the wife will do all the works. I think a wife will replace servants. No need to pay and a simple knot is enough"

What does he mean? Does he mean the wife is just a maid?

"I didn't mean the wife is a servant. You are the one who created that feeling to me by doing all the works which were done earlier by maids."

"Cute pout," he said.

I looked into the mirror to check whether I pouted. I pouted and looked at Agni.

"Why did you shout?" I asked.

"Because I didn't like my wife replacing the role of a maid in my life," he said making me smile.

"What?" I asked as if I didn't understand.

"You are my wife, not a maid. Cooking sometimes when you feel bored is ok. But, no need to do it every day. You can order to cook what you want and teach them the recipe. Selecting dress for me every day is ok but no need to wash them and press them. Jwala, you no need to change anything in your life because of our marriage. Waking up before me is not at all necessary. If I need something and cannot manage by myself, I will surely wake you up. You said you want to study more. You can study after delivery. I didn't want you to get strained, so I am not allowing you to study or work now. But after giving birth, you can work or study. I have no objection."

"I love you. My decision of marrying you is not wrong. Agni, I am sure that even my parents may not bring a person like you for me who understands and loves me this much" I said hugging him.

"Now take rest. I will prepare food for you. By the way, did you exercise today as suggested by the doctor?"

"Ok, then will you exercise daily for 15 minutes every day from tomorrow?"

"Sure, but please no oats."

"Pasta, but you sit with me and tell the cook to prepare."

"Ok fine, I will inform our maid and will be back to you."

We had breakfast, and he took keys and mobile to leave. Suddenly he pulled towards him.

"We are married now. So, I think expecting a sweet, goodbye kiss from my wife is not wrong" he said looking at my lips.

I kissed him on the cheek.

"You didn't know how to kiss your husband. What kind of a wife you are. Even my previous PA used to give me lip kiss" he said, and I pushed him away.

"Yes, I don't know anything. Ask your former PA to kiss you" I said and tried to leave, but he held my hand.

"That's what I am doing baby."

"What?"

"Who is my previous PA?"

"Who?"

"Tubelight, it's you. Yesterday before going to the registrar office, we had a deep lip kiss, right. That's what I said"

I blushed.

"You are very possessive."

"Loving you so much" I corrected.

"Tomorrow I am going to your village to talk to your parents directly. Let's see what they will say."

"I love you."

"Love you too."

"Agni, I can't sit at home idle. I will work at our office. I will work sitting in your cabin. Please allow me to work."

"I don't like you working at home not even pressing my clothes. How do you think I will allow you to work at the office? I won't, Jwala. Until delivery, don't talk about this again."

"Till 7th month I can work"

"Agni, can I call you if I want to talk to you?" I asked blushing.

"Do you feel to talk to me?"

"Yes, many times. But, I am scared to speak with you as you may become angry with me for calling when you are busy."

"You can call me at any time. After all, I get calls only about business. But getting a call from my wife with love and with a feeling of missing me is a new experience for me. I want to experience that. Because I never get a call from someone who is everything to me," he said and suddenly disconnected the call.

I called again, but it's busy and then switched off. Why did Agni cut the call all of a sudden??
