CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

Jwala:

I looked at him, and he came to me.

"Jwala"

I slapped him.

"How could you do this to me Agni? Don't you have any feelings? How can you make our private life as public?"

He snatched photos from my hand and looked giving shocking expressions. He closed his eyes for some time and then tore them into pieces.

"Jwala, I didn't do this, please trust me."

"No, I am sure it's you who did this. Because how can someone get these photos, if it's not you who gave them? You took these photos to blackmail me, and now you used them to make me all alone in this world."

"Jwala, at that time I took these photos to keep you in my control and make you act according to me. But, now you are my wife. Why will I play such a cheap game with you?"

"I hate you" that's all I can say to him.

He looked at me. I can see the pain in his eyes and face. He clenched his fist but didn't utter a word.

"I never beg anyone to love me," he said after some time.

"Now tell me, did you clear the debt of my father as you said?"

"Yes"

show me the proof," I asked.

"Proof? What do you mean by proof?"

"Show me the receipt or any written proof that says you cleared the debt."

"I don't have."

"Yes, you don't have because you are not the one who cleared the debt. It's Aadarsh who helped my father."

"What the f*ck are you talking?"

"Yes it's Aadarsh, and he had the receipt given by bank stating that Aadarsh paid off the debt."

"Oh so you believe him but not me. Leave all this Jwala, tell me what are you trying to prove about me?" He asked me.

"Yes, I believe him. I trust him and my parents because they are the one who helped me whenever I need someone. Not you. You are the one who created problems for me every time" I shouted at him.

"Yes, I can't be with you whenever you are in a problem because I don't know when you will fall into the problem. They are with you every time you face a problem because they are the one who creates that problem to you" Agni said.

"Do you mean you are the only one who is good and rest of them are playing games?"

"Whether you believe it or not, it's true," Agni said.

"Whatever tell me Jwala, are you going to stay here or accompany me?"

"I will come with you for baby. But, not as your wife" I said.

"Dad, I am sorry for breaking your trust," I said crying.

"Sona, we are not angry with you for loving someone. But, I am angry with you for choosing such a person" dad said.

"Sona, whatever it is, your parents are with you. I don't want to send you with him, but you decided to go. Take care of you and your baby" dad said.

"Enough now move," he said holding my hand and taking me to the car.

I sat in the car, and he sat beside me. After some time my back ached as I am unable to perch. He looked at me and flattened the seat and pulled me into his lap making me sleep keeping my head in his lap. He didn't look at me but caressed my hair and patted my hand slowly helping me to take a nap.

I woke up when the car reached the city. We returned home, and he didn't talk to me. Why can't he prove himself innocent rather than becoming angry with me? He went to the spare bedroom and didn't come to the room. After some time, a maid came into the room.

"Madam, sir told to shift his luggage to another room," she said.

"I will talk to him; you can leave," I said.

I went to him but stopped hearing his phone conversation in full rage.

"No, I want the CCTV footage of that hotel Vinara within 24 hours. Send me the footage of my CCTV arranged outside my house near to my office. I want them immediately" he said

"One more thing, arrange spy to find out the activities of Jwala's family, Aadarsh, and Eeshwar. I need every detail about them especially whom they are meeting etc.," he said to someone.

"I already informed our friend Amar to get the call list of those people including Jwala and mine too, as he is in the police department."

"I know that proving is not necessary when we didn't do anything wrong, but proving is needed when we love someone truly. However, I didn't let Jwala know that I started an enquiry into that incident already. I didn't want her to get strain under this pregnancy period. She is becoming stressed with all this. It does no good to her or our baby. I should clear her doubts soon, and after that, I will take her to Malaysia away from all this for delivery" he said.

I came to my room calmly. After two hours, Agni came to me.

"I am going out of station for two days. Vedika is coming here to take care of you. Don't go anywhere without informing me, take care" he said

"Where are you going?"

"I have some important work."

"What's that?"

"It’s related to my innocent wife. A virus attacked her brain and hacked it. Unfortunately, I didn't find a suitable antivirus till now. So, now I am going to get perfect antivirus and then will reset her brain to factory settings so that it works according to her thoughts and not according to others who hacked it" he said, and I looked at him.

"I am sure I won't leave that hacker easily for creating the mess in my life and troubling my pregnant wife. He will surely pay for playing with Agni" he said.

He got a call again, and he received it. He went out talking on mobile and came back to me.

"I love you Jwala though you hate me. I want to experience your true love filled with trust. Is it possible ever?" He asked me.

I didn't answer.

"I don't understand why life had never been easy for me. I just expected little love from you Jwala. Nothing else" he said.

His voice sounded painful, and his face too showed the pain. But is this pain genuine? He is thinking he is bearing the pain, but the truth is even I am facing the same hurt as I don't know whom to trust.

"Bye, I am leaving. Vedika will come soon" he said and left the house leaving me in tears.

How can I explain to him that I love him and his pain hurts me more than him? I hope it's not he who played this game. Otherwise, I can't bear it. My heart will break if he betrays me.
