CHAPTER TWENTY SIX:

Jwala:

I woke up and found myself in his arms. He is sleeping.

"Agni, wake up" I shouted, and he opened his eyes yawning and pulling me towards him.

"What happened, baby? Why are you shouting?"

"You are untrustworthy. I married you without parents’ consent as I trusted you would convince them. But till now you didn't do anything to convince them. Last night, I came to your room thinking that you will drop me at my home before my family wakes up. But you didn't do that too."

"Look at your surroundings once. I stood on my words" Agni said

I looked around, and it's my home. I am in my room. God, this is more dangerous. What if anyone sees me with Agni on my bed?

"Agni, get up, please. Why didn't you leave after dropping me?"

He got up.

"Sweetheart, remember what you did at night. I thought to leave, but in sleep, you pulled me to you and didn't leave my hand. As I can't wake you up, I stayed here."

"Please go Agni, please."

"Why? See, a married woman should stay with her husband. But this wife is not ready to stay with her husband. So, the husband is staying with his wife. Ultimately wife and husband should be together. Now we are together."

"Mom may come anytime; please go."

"No, today is my birthday. I want to spend the whole day with you."

"Ok fine, your wife will come to you and will stay with you full day on your birthday. Now leave"

"Then fine I will leave, but before leaving, I need something."

"What?"

"Kiss me, baby; it's been a long time since we didn't have a good kissing session."

"Enough, now leave. I won't give anything before you prove the truth."

"Please Jwala, only one kiss, please please."

I blushed and smiled inwardly. I hope Agni will prove that he is innocent. I can't bear if he is the one who sent me to that hotel.

"No, go now. However you are staying in a hotel room, call someone who gives you a kiss and whatever you want."

He glared at me. Shut, why can't I seal my stupid mouth when he is sweet?

"I am leaving. You no need to come to the hotel. I am moving to the city today" he said seriously leaving.

"Agni, please please wait," I said and got up from bed immediately.

I held his hand and turned him towards me. I kissed on his forehead, eyes, cheeks and finally his lips. He held me by the waist and moved his forefinger on waist romantically while kissing me. He pinched my waist. I opened my mouth screaming and looked at him. But he is too busy in deepening the kiss. He slowly broke the kiss after making me blush hard.

"Don't leave; I will come to you as soon as possible. We will go to the nearby town to celebrate your birthday, please" I said, and my husband smiled.

"I will be waiting for you," he said.

He slowly opened back door of my room. I showed him the second gate of my house and stood near my door to assure that he left safely. I came to my room and laid on the bed remembering the kiss we shared which made me blush.

I got ready as soon as possible and went to him lying at home saying I am going to my friend's place. This stupid Agni is teaching me to lie to my parents. If they come to know this, I can't show my face to them anytime. I opened the door and saw a girl in his room.

"What's going on here?" I asked very seriously.

"Hey sweetheart, when did you come? Come inside," He said holding my hand.

"I asked what's going on here."

"Nothing, I didn't get you."

"Don't act innocent. Who is she? Why is she in your room? What are you doing with her? It's my foolishness to come to you. You never change" I shouted at him.

"Madam, I came to clean the room," she said, and only then I realised mop in her hands.

He left to the balcony in the room. I followed him.

"Agni, I... Am. Sorry"

"Quite, don't talk anything until she leaves," he said in a voice audible only to me.

I stood beside him calmly. I tried to touch his hand to calm him, but he took away his hand noticing that. That girl left, and he held my hand and took me into the room. He pinned me to a wall. I was scared to hell seeing his anger. He went to lock both the doors. I tried to move.

"Don't move" he ordered.

I stood there itself. Agni came to me and caged me between the wall and him.

"What do you think about me? Do you think I am such a pervert who used to keep an affair with every girl whom I see?"

"Ag. Ni... I... Didn't... Mean. It... Let's talk. Slowly... Please... I am... Scared... I.. Can't... Speak anything... If... U.. Are. Angry" I said in a shallow voice.

"What the hell are you speaking? Nothing is audible. Speak loudly" he yelled at me making me cry.

I didn't speak anything. Agni lifted me in his arms and took me to bed. He made me sit on his lap.

"Jwala, I didn't have any affairs. Especially from the day I knew you are pregnant, I committed myself only to you. No girl had a place in my life except you" he said hugging me.

"I am sorry."

"It's ok. Now you go to your home. I want to take rest."

"But we thought to go out for your birthday... "

"My birthday is not that special to anyone. That's why I never show interest to celebrate it. I don't know why I felt to celebrate it this year. Now I lost interest, go to your home."

"No, I won't go. Please, I am sorry for spoiling your mood."

"Go to your home," he said and opened his room door.

"Go," he said and called the driver to drop me at home.

"Agni please."

"I need rest," he said sounding arrogant.

I left without saying anything. Very dangerous person. I apologised, but still, Agni is angry.

It's my fault to try to make him happy, though I still doubt him. He had affairs, I saw with my eyes, and now he is bluffing that he didn't have any affairs. If he didn't have a physical relationship with anyone, I would have never doubted him. If it's not me, no other girl would like to marry such an arrogant, stupid, rude, money-minded person.
