CHAPTER 74

He smiled up at me. "I started roasting it outside. I got more wood for you." I rolled my eyes, putting my hands on my hips. "I don't think I am the only one who uses the firewood, Julian."
He tipped the bag over, making the firewood spill to the floor. "You use it the most. I can't for the life of me get why you are so cold most of the time."
I bit my lip, wondering if I should tell him that the cold I felt could only be replaced by the warmth of his arms and I was desperately trying to solve it with fire.
I hoped this night would be our night. I didn't let my feelings show on my face, instead narrowing my eyes at him. "Excuse you? This cabin is freaking cold."
Julian got to his feet and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me into him. "I bet I can warm it up for you." He leaned in closer, a question in his eyes.
I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Took you long enough." His lips met mine and my wolf rejoiced.
I felt his voice vibrate through my body as he moaned into my mouth. "Fuck, I have missed this." I whined, lifting my hips to wrap around his hips.
I wanted more. I wanted to feel all of him.
He pulled away suddenly and I loved how clouded his eyes looked. "We need to talk, Liv." I nodded at him, but refused to drop my legs from his hips.
He took in a deep breath. "Liv. I am sorry I didn't trust you. I am sorry I didn't be there for you." His voice caught and he released a deep breath again. "I am sorry I couldn't protect you. I am sorry you had to go through all of this."
I could feel my throat closing up and he brushed hair out of my face. "If you would have me. I would be the mate you deserve. I would never leave your side. I would never allow you to doubt my love for you."
His hands ran down my back, pulling me into him. I bit my lips to catch a moan. "I would make you feel so good, Olivia. Let me be your mate."
I nodded, and buried my face in his neck. "I would have you. I love you." I pulled back to stare into his eyes. I repeated everything he said and I watched as his eyes began to water.
"I would be there for you. Always. Till the moon goddess takes me. Let me be your mate, Julian."
It was we were confirming our love for each other. Just between us. Because our love was for us. And just for us.
I didn't know which one of us moved first. His hands were in my hair in the next second and his lips were moving against mine.
I moaned into his mouth and he used that opportunity to slip his tongue into my mouth. The minute our tongues touched, my wolf went wild.
I could feel her coming out, yet I was still in my human form. Julian started moving, and his destination became apparent the minute my back landed on the bed.
He smiled down at me, looking devilish and angelic all at once. There was something different about his aura and my wolf answered it for me. "He brought out his wolf too."
I smiled up at him and flashed my canines. "Are you going to take my clothes off or I should do it myself?" He smiled that smile again, bending down to whisper in my ear.
"Which one would you prefer?" I used one hand to pull the nightgown over my head and I didn't miss the flash in his eyes when he saw me naked.
He started kissing my neck, going down till he reached my stomach. He glanced up at me and I gave him a daring grin. "I dare you."
"Challenge accepted." He didn't wait a beat before licking up my slit and I gripped the sheets. He moaned, his voice vibrating against my core as he spoke. "Fuck, I missed this."
I felt my face heat up as another flush of arousal trickled out of me, but Julian only laughed. "I am going to have a feast between your legs, Olivia. And you are going to take everything I give you."
I nodded, my mind clouding over with desire as he got to work between my legs. He ate me like a there was fine line between being possessed and being desperately hungry.
I loved every second of it. "Julian." I whispered when he sucked my clit into his mouth. I shot off the bed, my hands coming to grip his hair. He only moaned in approval and I could feel the wave in me start building.
I chanted his name over and over, finally screaming it as he sent me over the edge. He was grinning at me, his lips glistening with my release when I came down from the high.
"You squirted." I went red and he laughed, eyes sparkling. "No. That's fucking attractive, Olivia. Trust me. It makes me know one thing and desperate to figure out the other."
I felt my breath whoosh out of my chest and I gaped at him. "What's that?" "You really really love being ate out." I could feel the flush spread all over my body and his voice dropped. "It makes me want to find out what else I can do to make you tick."
I was sure my entire body was red now and he lifted off his knees. "But first. I have been dying to get inside you."
His fingers dipped to my slit, playing with it till I could feel that wave start to rise inside me again. He took his fingers away before I could cross the legde and he stopped my protest with a finger against my lips.
"The next time we come, it would be around each other." I nodded, already getting impatient.
When he slid into me, it felt like coming home. I could feel the tears clog my throat and he pressed his lips against mine. "I love you, Olivia. Till the sun burns out." I wrapped my hands around his neck and nodded. "I love you too. Till the stars die."
He started moving and I felt like I got transported to heaven. It was like someone had snapped something inside me and I was finally free. We came at the same time and I swore our wolves became one at the same time.
He kept me in his arms, moving us around till he was on his side and I was on mine. He was still inside me, but neither of us were complaining.
After all my suffering with my parents. With Leo. With everything else that had happened, I was finally home.
Being sold to Alpha Leonard was the best thing that had ever happened to me, but now I was at home in my mate's arms. And I knew whatever came our way next, we would overcome it. Together.
