24_ pain

Third POV”
“where is that? Damn person!”
Crimson blood pack alpha's thunderous roar reverberated throughout the jail. He was glancing at his servant at the time. They were in the dungeon as he was punishing the people that had almost killed her daughter, particularly the one who had shot my Serena with an arrow. They are mistaken if they believe they are intelligent. During the inquiry, he discovered that it wasn't only a rogue who nearly murdered my daughter. Serena was now safe, which was fortunate.
This individual was able to get access to my palace and become one of my slaves. I also discovered that he was a member of the lost clan that had engulfed the city in mud and the black light pack. I twiddle the bastard's hair and inquire.
"Tell me how you want to die now."
The man grins, and it's clear from his eyes that he's not afraid of dying.
"Go ahead and kill me; if I get away, you can be sure that your entire family will perish at my hands." Because of your selfishness, I will make you experience my pain when I lose my daughter."
"Stop blaming me, I just did it because I don't have enough shelter and food for more people," I said, shaking my head. "Our nation was also suffering because of the mud flood and other disasters that were affecting this entire area." Because of what you did, and the length of time you spent inside my palace, I'm sure you know what will happen to you, right?"
You could tell from alpha's words that the man would not be alive the next day inside of this remote location.
Serena
" Elena was like a child inside the room, running around like a maniac, giddy with anticipation for my forthcoming birthday, which is just a week away, but I couldn't even crack a grin. Why wouldn't I? Because my father had made the decision that my wedding would take place on that day.
With a shake of my head, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation. Imagine if he hadn't even given me the opportunity to celebrate my own birthday? And I'm going to enjoy my day.
I sigh once more as I lay in my bed. I wanted to weep, but I didn't know if this was my fate; I wasn't one of the unlucky wolves who never saw or met their mate; furthermore, Alonzo was a terrific catch; there were a lot of girls after him, and I should be grateful that I wasn't one of them, but I was the one he'd marry, right? Besides, I wasn't the only one who shared my faith; Killian did as well. "Stop being so dramatic." Serena, marriage did not mean the end of your existence! I'm sure Alonzo was smitten with you since he was so attractive and sweet. Have you considered it? He may come to love you for all of those years because you were his best friend when he was a toddler."
Elena had stated that, and I had given her a cold stare.
"Don't show me how spoiled you are; you couldn't scare me with that look," I sneered and turned around. "In the year we've been together, I've learned to love Alonzo as much as a friend Elena. "How come he feels the polar opposite of it?"
I enter through the front door. I suppose I was going to eat? Maybe I'd ask Killian if we could have some fun outside again.
Nonetheless, I noticed Alonzo standing outside my bedroom door, and he instantly turned around and proceeded into my room's little living area. Reality hit me, and I remembered something I said to Elena, which he may have overheard.
“wait! Alonzo!” I screamed before she could leave my room by opening the main door.
"Don't dare to go away without even speaking to me after what you've heard. "You know how much I despise drama," I remarked, causing Alonzo to pause and turn on me.
Alonzo glanced at me with his eyes looking at me as if he was about to cry, or was it just my imagination?
"So you were still hesitating huh?" Alonzo said faintly. Don't you think we should notify the elders about this? I, like Serena, don't want a drama; in fact, I want to seem calm like Killian. Look at him, his wedding is tomorrow, yet he was here guarding you when my sister was so preoccupied with everything."
Looking at Killian, I was taken aback; he was merely standing by the door, calmly washing his sword. Why didn't he inform me his wedding was the next day? That was quick! "Stop staring at me!" Serena looked at me as if I had a second head. And you know, Alonzo, between your sister and me, she was the only one who was enthused about this wedding."
Alonzo ran up to Killian and grabbed his collar.
"Fuck you, Killian, if you exploited my sister because she was head over heels in love with you, I swear I'll kill you!"
I couldn't even move. I'm not sure how I feel. I'm sure I'm uninterested in Killian's wedding, right? So, why am I having chest pains?
"Do I think my soon-to-be brother-in-law is threatening me?" I heard Killian respond to Alonzo, but I went back into my room, oblivious to the two guys arguing.
I close my eyes tight and fall asleep on my bed. I want to be hidden from everyone. I don't want to hear anything from anyone.
After a few periods, I heard Alonzo knock on my bedroom door, but I simply ignored him and continued to lie in bed doing nothing while tightly closing my eyes.
"We're still talking about Serena, right?" Alonzo remarked as he opened the door to my room.
I ignore him until I sense him approaching, at which point I sit on my side and wipe something from my eyes.
"I'm sorry, I assumed you already knew"
I was weeping silently while holding Alonzo the next thing I remembered.
