“Why did you try to remove your fucking gloves, lady, so you could escape from that monster?”

I shouted since, as I could see, the monster was just holding the edge of her weapon, and if she wouldn’t do what I was asking her to do, the monster was about to shove her inside of her mouth.

There was no fear in her eyes. I could see that she was doubting doing whatever I wanted her to do. I jumped through her while the other monster was still struggling to see me.

I shook my head. They had big fucking eyes, but they couldn’t see everything that was lurking around them. Maybe because we are too small to see.

I run to Adriana and hug her.

My sensitive body suddenly feels hot because of that. There is really something in her.

“I said that you remove those fucking gloves,”

I said, then pulled her out, leaving the gloves.

Then we drop into the bushes where those dense giants couldn’t see us.

“Is that hard? It’s easy, right?” When I looked at her hands, I saw that they had a scar, and you could see that it reached half of her arms. Her long sleeves go up.

She immediately hid it.

“What happened to that?”

I asked, but she didn’t answer.

“I know it’s ugly. If that was what you were thinking,” I narrowed my eyes.

I was asking if what happened to the woman was … I didn’t say what my opinion was about it. One of the monsters did that to you? Tell me and I will come after them.”

I said that made her blush.

I grabbed her hand to see it closer.

When suddenly the beat of my heart stopped, then when it came back, someone inside of me said, “She was the one.”

“Who are you, damn it?” I asked myself in my head while I didn’t know that I was still holding the hands of the girl that was now looking at me intently.

“He was our friend, Kyzer.”

I shook my head… look at the girl that they said that I should marry using my brother’s name.

“That was not what I was asking for.” “I said.”

I’m your fucking … and that’s all I remember. I just woke up due to the heat that I felt because of her. She was our mate.

“Was that you, Kyzer?” “Why didn’t I not feel you back then?”

I shook my head. I don’t know, but I don’t care what that mate thing means. If my memory comes back, I will surely come back if that was an important thing.

“Are you rejecting me, Kyzer?”

I roll my eyes. I don’t know what you mean. I was just saying that I had to find myself first before anything.

The girl looked around and stood up since we were sitting in the bushes.

We heard the roar and the shouting, so we stood up.

“We will find an answer to what I have been feeling toward you, but for now we have to help people.”

Adriana nodded her head, though I could see a glisten in her eyes.

The heat that I felt was unbelievable. That was why I was so attracted to Killian; his face was the same as mine. I held Kyzer back then many times, but I never felt that strong feeling toward him.

I’m so stupid. He was in front of me all the time ever since he replaced Killian. That’s what his uncle says has happened ever since Killian was wounded by the arrow.

But now that I finally found out that he was my mate, that I had been looking for all of my life, I accidentally thought it was Killain, though they shared the same face. I won’t give up on him.

But when I look at my hands, I sigh. I was an ugly creature. Could he like me for what I am?

Adriana, we have been bitches since we were kids because you were afraid that someone would come closer to you and find out about what you have been hiding with your hands. But now that we were about to escape from this world, we didn’t know if we could make it or not. Please, let’s do it the right way. Let’s do it together, to be kind and help other people to be worthy of being called “wife and mate of Kyzer.”

My wolf said. So I stood up. I took a deep breath. This is just a hand, and my whole body was beautiful. I said to myself, and my wolf said, “We can do it.”

I said to my mate that I had just met, while his brother beside me was ready to fight as well. Killian first tried to mislead those monsters since there were a lot of children and a woman with us.

We’re lucky that the twin brother was on our side now, though the people we were protecting did not only come from our pack, because their alpha was all gone now. There are a few left, but we still have to fight for our lives.

Some giants saw us, so we used our swords to kill those monsters. Using our left strength that we have been using for almost how many days? Since that day we have discovered a way to escape underground. That is possible, but it is currently buried by the ground.

Though thinking about all of those happy memories as we were leaving was both happy and sad, the future we were looking forward to was more happy than sad. All we had to do was survive to experience that.
