78 another danger
Joshaque pov
"Joshaque, why are you not joining us running in the rain?" Exodus asks, while he was together with the redhead named Erich, the one he says was his mate.
Joshaque just smiles while thinking about what happened to Killian. I am not sure I understand what those creatures calling themselves Alepores, a kind of witch, mean. I just couldn't believe that there was such a deep reason why our ancestors decided to stay in the deep part of the world. Maybe if I were in their shoes and all of these people were being burned at the stake, I would also burn those witches who let us prisoners go somewhere we couldn't be dangerous to each other instead of killing us all.
I'm glad that even if a lot of trials were gone through, there were still some left in us. The Crimson Blood Park would still survive, together with the other packs that came from the second part of the underground. I didn't know why, as time goes by, those parts of the underground are separate, but I guess whatever it is, it doesn't matter now. The important thing is that we can still survive after this, and a lot of us could survive in this place where we first saw the full sun, even if it almost blinded us just by looking into it. We still get enough of it. Regardless of what those Alepores said, this was still not the real world because it was still behind the portal from which we could gaze. At least all of us here experience it. Unlike those who never reach this place,
I feel guilty because I know that more of those who died were those who were weaker or children. But at least, right?
"Please people, we have to hide. There were still monsters out there who wanted to come out in the rain and attack us. "
which reminds me why I adore them alongside Killian and Kyzer.
I smile. I couldn't handle one Killian, but now that there are two of them, I'm sure it will be harder than ever.
*******
Kyzer
"There, there is a cave where we could hide." Killian I have to go in first, so if there is some monster there, I can easily kill it. Besides, my weapon was listed in the dark. You will lead the people inside, and you will be the guard at the front. "Together with whoever could fight."
I said, then walked inside the cave while the group was following me, though they had a huge gap so they could run if someone attacked us.
However, I stopped when I was in the middle because a huge snake was crawling toward me.
"Fuck! Watch out! There was a huge monster snake coming! "
I shouted, yet when I turned around, the people were scattered because a lot of looking monster frogs were jumping out, and the long tongue of one was moving faster to get someone to eat.
"Please help me, mother!" A child was shouting while the tongue of the frog was slowly moving to get back to the mouth of the frog monster.
I make a move to run faster toward the child. I leapt to sever the monster's tongue that nearly devoured the child.
The sticky saliva of the monster was scattered in the water droplets. There was a little spill on me, but it splashed out of the rain pouring on me.
"We have to run someplace because wherever we go, there's no safe place here. Protect each other, especially the children. " "Come close to the soldier so they can protect you as soon as possible."
I said. Then we all ran in the rain.
We have to reach the portal as soon as possible. The percentage that a lot of these survivors would survive would be higher.
I slashed all of the things that would possibly block our way so they wouldn't make it harder to step on the way.
I was in the front, Killian was in the back, and the soldiers who knew how to fight were on the side.
So we could protect each other, as we can do.
Though I was thinking, why do I need to save these people if I could just run and leave them? But there is something inside of me saying that I have to do this because the memories that I lost were important to me.
"waaaa"
Someone was shouting back again. It's around to see if what is happening this time is
I was thinking that there was another flying fucking monster above us. Killian and I jumped into every part of the trees that we could reach to reach those monsters to kill them.
What's in my head is that we have to survive.
My twin and I were doing that until those freaking monsters got tired and flew somewhere. However, we still have to get ready for all of the things that could possibly come.
Here, drink water. You need that more than I do. "
Clode, on the other hand, stated that she didn't because Serena had returned.
This girl knew how to fight, and her whole body was covered by a black shield that I guess was a dried dead animal. Her hands have gloves.
Clode says that this girl was the one I married but using the name of my twin. I shook my head since nothing of it was in my head.
This girl was pretty though. But Clode was my friend, and he always said—as those other rogues were saying—that he was indeed my friend. He says he liked the fact that I didn't remember anything because I was moving and acting strangely.
I said, "Thank you," and the girl smiled.
I tilt my head because I do feel something strange inside. In my chest, the beat was not right. Yet I just ignore it. Why would I translate this if I didn't know what it was?
