71 the witches

"What is happening here?"

I whisper to Wanda.

 

"Don't mind them. What is important is, have you seen the portal there, the one right there? The cave in the middle I could sense a powerful creature was there. This wolf was much more powerful than these people in black that this wolf had been fighting at. "

 

My gaze turned to the said cave. Though I do feel something was there, I didn't feel the power that Wanda was talking about.

 

A lot of wolves and some other creatures that Wanda called witches. I had heard a lot about them.Yet this is the first time that I have seen them in person. I thought that they were like us who have a feature of humans and thought it was a wolf inside living.

 

They seemed like monsters with a heart-shaped face, huge mouths, sharp teeth, and dirty skin with a dark mud-like hue. They were not wearing clothes like us but instead looked like rug fabric.

 

I guess they were living in the third part of the underworld like beggars.

 

Wanda just shoved it off to every person that could block our way. She can easily kick the creature away by just moving her hand.

 

I just followed them like a child getting lost in the middle of a war. While Voger was punching and sometimes biting, the creatures came closer. When we were about to reach the said cave, we came to a halt when someone blocked our way. She was unique among those fighting the wolves because she had a beautiful feature.Yet I could tell that she was not one of us. I mean a wolf.

 

I saw the Beta and other clan groups of my father's. They were busy fighting over those creatures. When Wanda said, I had to focus on what was in front of me, not on them."Let me pass through if you want to live."

 

The beautiful woman in front of us laughed, then shook her head.

 

"Do you think that I was crazy enough to let you pass just like that?"

 

"Well, I was just trying to be as good as I could here. But if you really have a dying wish  then let's begin your journey to hell. "

 

After that, the girl in front of us moved her hands like she was drawing a circle in the air. I can see the light that is slowly popping up in the air. There is also a light that has been flickering. And every insect that flew over there vanished like a bubble in my tub.

 

I shook my head, and I held Wanda's hand.

 

"Wanda, are you certain that we can beat that girl?" I inquire, concerned.Since then, I can tell that the girl was powerful indeed.

 

"Don't worry, Serena, I can easily defeat that girl."

 

Don't be full of yourself, Wanda I was born just to give all my might just to stop you from reaching the top. "

 

The girl said, then her gaze turned on me. "If I were you, I would run away from that girl.  She's nothing but a demon. She would surely use you to reach the top. Join me to defeat her and lock her up back in a casket where she belongs. "

 

I don't know why, but I shook my head. Maybe I knew Wanda well and she was the one to save me. We need each other's blood to survive. Besides, she promised me that she would help me kill the man who killed my parents. And she was the only one who could understand my pain.

 

"OK, it's up to you if you want to be with that girl, then so be it."

 

The girl moved her hands again like she was pushing someone, yet the light that she made was the only one moving toward us.

 

Wanda smirked. She just lifted her hands to stop the light and threw it back to the girl. However, the girl already made one again and she avoided the light.


The light hit the end part of the ground. I was shocked that it had made a huge hole in the centre. That made the underworld shake more.

 

"All I have to do is to buy some time so you can stay here forever."

 

The girl said "Yes, you need to buy some time, so your life won't end soon." Wanda utters, then in the blink of an eye, Wanda disappears beside me.

 

The last thing I knew, she was biting the girl's neck.

 

I couldn't believe it. How did she manage to get there where the girl was?

 

Don't ask, Serena. Wanda was a hybrid. If she wanted to choke someone's throat, she could do that in a block of an eye. " Voger said.

 

"Princess Serena, is that you?" I turned my head and saw one of the soldiers in my palace. It was too late before I could answer him. He had already shouted that I was already here.

 

Damn it. Having responsibilities was the last thing I wanted now. Right now, there is something more important than leading a million troops and a civilian.

 

"Our people were there fighting through the creature that was guarding the place."

 

I sighed and said, "I was doing the same way, so go on and do all you can.  We will meet at the top later.

 

I said, and the soldier returned to his work, while the other bowed to me when they saw me.

 

When I turned back to Wanda to see what she'd been doing, I saw that the woman she was biting had changed into an ugly monster like another.

 

She was now moving like a monster, like another crawling on the ground while doing all her best to hit Wanda using her power.

Third POV

 

"The princess was here!"

 

One of the soldiers shouted while the new Alpha was busy fighting. He was thinking that this creature guarding the place was strong, yet their need to escape from this world was stronger.

 

However, when the new alpha saw the Princess, he felt threatened. He had to kill the princess. What would be the use of fighting if he would be second in command again after they escape this world?
