Third POV
"What made you so certain it was Zeta Colton? We're both aware of his family's loyalty to us."
While the Elders were just listening, the Gamma of wolves asked the Beta of the Crimson Blood Pack.
"Furthermore, Colton, Zeta's son, was your son-in-law. So, how are you going to betray them?" Adds the Delta.
"That is why I was aware of their strategy. He was, in fact, my son-in-law. Prior to that, I was a member of the Crimson Blood Pack. I was prepared to face any penalties, including losing my daughter's marriage, simply to ensure that the alpha's killer was brought to justice. Now that I think about it, we all know what could have motivated him to do it. Have you forgotten what his brother did the last time the alpha was around? He might find out, and even if we all know it was the late Zeta's fault, Colton was his brother, and what would you do if you were in the same situation?"
The Beta clarifies that what transpired was the actual thing. He lied flawlessly. Those in the Crimson Blood Pack's upper echelons readily accepted his explanation. This sends the first Zeta to the depths of hell.

Serena
Every muscle in my body ached. I feel like I've been to hell and back. I cough and then vomit a large amount of water. That was the last time I recall. What occurred to me made me believe I would die. I'm not sure how I avoided drowning. But I'm not sure where I went unconscious after feeling my body swell from the water. I gently opened my eyes, though I guess even that was difficult because I was so weak that I couldn't move from where I was resting.
I walked around my current location. I was still unable to move. I was, as far as I could tell, inside a palace. Nonetheless, I am aware that this is not my home. The property was warm and inviting, but this is not our home. What am I doing? I want to say something, but nothing comes out of my mouth. Inside, it's dry and achy.
"Your awake!" I thought I heard the voice of a woman on the other side. So I swung my head around I want to curse. I don't know that tilted would be this hard. I saw a girl who was either younger or the same age as myself. Her hair is long and crimson. Her eyes are also slightly red.
"Can you move now?" Apart from the unpleasant sensation inside, I couldn't answer the girl's question because I felt my body was too heavy.
"I suppose you still don't know. Being bitten by a hundred snakes in the falls must have been awful, huh? It was such a mistake to get there in the first place. Do you want to die or something?" What are you doing there, lady? Almost everyone here knows the place is too dangerous, so what are you doing there?"
I groan because I can't speak, and the girl chuckles.
"I'm sorry, I forgot that you still couldn't move. Properly" But don't be worry you will survive. My family have already check on you. You don't have to be concerned because they are doctors. My mother predicted that your strength will return in a day or two. Fortunately, your blood was potent. I had a lot of questions for you, but I became bored because you were not responding. By the way, my mother stated that you are unlike us. They couldn't figure it out, though. I'm curious as to what makes you different."
I'm not sure what this girl was on about. All I know is that I'm not within our confines. My genuine identity should be concealed. I'm not sure if they were adversaries."
"Maybe they didn't know you are of royal blood, Serena." When I hear my wolf's voice, I strive to smile.
"Elena! You're still there, right?" In my brain, I scream. Elena laughs as a result of this.
"What are your thoughts? While you are still alive and kicking, I shall vanish. Come on, you spoiled brat. I would remain inside of you forever and always as long as you were alive.
"So, Elena, what do you suppose I had to do? If I reveal who I am, they may assassinate me straight immediately. If they were rogue, however, I would be in greater risk.
I ask since I'm at a loss on what to do.
"Then don't say anything to them. Don't say anything. Act as if you forgot, or make up a narrative about how you were just fleeing from someone who wanted to kill you for some unknown reason. Tell them you have no idea since you were just a regular girl living in the woods."
"Do you think they would believe me?"
"If that's what you said, what else can they do? Gather some energy for the time being. If the people here were ever dangerous, you'd need it. Don't let on that you have more energy than they do. Allow them to believe you were weak. They'd assume you couldn't fight based on that."
"I appreciate it. If that's the most I can do, I guess I'll behave like a decent actor. But where do you suppose we are, Elena? This is the first time I've seen another such large house. Apart from our palace."
"I don't know either Serena, but I'm sure that this is not just a house for normal people in our kingdom."
"Of course, cause if they were maybe they know you."
Elena was correct. Most people in our domain are already familiar with me.
After Elena and I had talked, I closed my eyes again. However, the room's door reopened. This time, though, it wasn't the same female as previously. It's a man with the same hair color as the girl from before. He was born with a torso that is taller than most humans in our realm. But Killian could have been a little too huge. His eyes have a red tint to them, although they are mostly gray. I'm reminded of Killian's eyes... Those golden eyes...
"Hey, how are you?" I'm Eros, the doctor's son who is looking after you."
