45_ we cannot make it
Killian
"You've got to be kidding. Why should I trust you? It isn't possible. Was the girl, the daughter of our family's adversary, your mate?"
I took a seat on the sofa. After we arrived at the renegade location, Kyzer and I, along with my father, went inside Kyzer's home, where I had been hiding for some time.
Kyzer asked about what I told him about Serena, who was my mate earlier. My brother tells us about the map and their plan to explore this area at the same time.
So it has found a solution to get out of this place. I knew it. Serena comes to mind. I'm sure she'd be overjoyed, because she loved the sun's heat so much that she'd been sneaking through the palace to feel the stolen heat from those holes above.
When I look at Kyzer, I see that he was waiting for my response.
Why is it hard to believe this kind of stuff? Or are you still enraged about what Alpha did to our family, despite the fact that the Alpha and Luna you loathe are no longer alive? Are you unhappy with your current situation? Do you also want Serena to die horribly?"
In low voices, I said.
"Can you explain to me what was going on Killian?" Before I replied, my father requested that I glance at him.
"Serena was my mate, as I told Kyzer, father, and I wanted to talk to her first before doing anything else. Before we left this place, I wanted to make sure she was okay.
While still looking at my father, I said. I can tell he's taken aback. I'm sure he despised the Alpha, but I hope he understands. I couldn't keep it hidden any longer.
"Are you certain? Even if you're aware that the woman now despises you as a result of what everyone thinks about what we did to her parents?"
I give a slight nod. "I want to explain that we were innocent."
"We are innocent, but your brother was not." "Have you forgotten that he was the one who killed her mother?"
I closed my eyes while I took off my fist. I almost forgot about it. I gave Kyzer a serious look, but he just shrugged as if nothing had occurred.
"What would you do? Are you still wanting to see her? " Kyzer inquires, sounding as if he is mocking me. He's fucked!
"Do you still have humanity in you, Kyzer?" Despite my pity, he just replied.
"Thanks to the family of your mate, they make a creature like me who only thinks about how to revenge and to avenge my family, which I thought had died together with our father Keven two days before we were born."
I sigh and realize that I understand him, even if I still want to punch him in the face for what he did. Nonetheless, I believe he has a reasonable point.
"I promised you I'd be here to assist you if you really wanted to see that girl. Don't worry, I'll be able to explain myself. And you, on the other hand, were completely innocent. So relax. Let's talk about our escape plan. I'm tired of being here." I took a seat next to me and handed over an old newspaper.
"Can you give me any idea how we can get through this fucking map?" Even though I had already planned our escape, I knew it would be difficult for the kids. If we go through with my idea, I'm worried a lot of them will die."
I sigh and attempt to read the map. I observe that the entire waterfall is divided into two pieces, but there are two sides near the falls, a few meters apart: the left and right sides, with the right side being where the water comes from above. However, on the left side, there was another hole through the snake where people from here would have to swim from here to that place, which, as Kyzer predicted, would be difficult for children. But, as far as I can tell, the water flowed straight down from above on the right side, while the snake place was pouring up. A person arriving from this location will have to work hard to get up there, and if the current from the right side is strong, they will be hit. It's possible that you'll drown and float off to the left. Serena was lucky in that she never swam farther or stepped on either side of the fall. She's been escaping to swim there ever since.
"What if at the next full moon, we all have enough strength?" Why are we attempting to collect a large number of rocks to cover the right side of the hole? The slighter water coming from the other side would be much better for us, and even more so for those children who we believe are weaker and will not be able to make it all the way to the other side "Kyzer bursts out laughing, as if I said something amusing. "
"You are a brilliant brother!"
When the house began to shake, I was about to respond. This tremor was significantly more powerful than the one we had previously experienced. It takes several minutes, which is substantially longer than usual.
"Fuck! Killian, I believe we couldn't wait for another full moon to carry out your idea. I believe this damned building will implode at any moment." Kyzer stated, and I believe he was correct.
A deadly arrow struck me. I was ordered to find out what was causing the earthquake. I stated.
"Don't be worried about that. I'll replace you, so that's why I got here. " I watched those landslides for myself, and I saw those soft soils smash from the end of this isolated spot's land, and if we measured it correctly, the place was getting smaller and smaller. Despite the fact that we were in the center, I was certain we were running out of time due to the frequent quakes. The landslide would soon reach our location. I don't know how far those landslides have spread yet, and I don't think I'll have time to look into it any more. As you can see, we've got a lot of issues to deal with.
Maybe we don't have time, like Kyzer suggested. From the tremor that we witnessed, it's simple to conclude that there was a glimmer of hope that this world could be saved. All we could do was follow the map, even though we weren't sure if we'd be able to make it. At the very least, we make an effort and fight for our lives.
"Let's get started to cover up the hole." According to Kyzer,
"But do you think that we can make it?" Outside of this underworld, there isn't a full moon, which implies we don't have enough energy."
