Third POV
While the father and son were being punished in front of him, the Beta was grinning from ear to ear. Despite the fact that the Beta knew he was the real murderer of the Alpha, he showed no remorse. He was well aware that he was now the clan's alpha. His biggest wish had finally come true.
But if he kill the Alpha who killed the Luna that piqued his interest. Who killed the Luna if he was the one who killed the Alpha?
When his daughter approached him and asked if he might free Killian, the Beta's thoughts came to a halt.
"Father, release my husband, he is innocent." Adriana's says.
"When the Alpha died, I had been following him all day. Since the Alpha asked Killian to look after his daughter again since he trusted him more than anything else."
Adriana begged her father to help her, but the new Alpha refused. He was scared that if he did something nice for his daughter, Killian would turn on him like he did the Alpha.
"I'm sorry,princess. I know how much you liked that man, but if I let him go, he'll undoubtedly turn on us like his family did to the late Alpha. Do you want me to be assassinated as well?"
Adriana abruptly ceased speaking.
She didn't want to lose Killian, but she was even more afraid of losing her father.
After a little while, a soldier whispers something to the new Alpha and forces him to stand.

"ugh... ugh." Since this morning, my father and I have been beaten to death. Punish us for the crime we never did.
They wanted us to admit to a crime that we had never committed, namely, that my brother was the one who killed the Luna. The Alpha have died as well. if Kyzer had murdered the Luna. Who committed the heinous crime of assassinating the Alpha?
The soldiers shot us with arrows for nearly an hour while we were chained and standing nearby. Our wounds were readily contained, but if the pain continued, our bodies would inevitably collapse.
"If I were you, I would admit your crime so your life would be easier," the Zeta added.
Despite this, my father and I remained silent. Even though I know who my real parents are. I still refer to him as "father,"
My father is staring at the Beta, which now has comfy seating in the center, where the Alpha would sit. According to what I've heard, the Beta is now the Alpha. That's fantastic. I knew that was his goal, but I never imagined he'd be able to achieve it.
"The great deity recognizes our innocence! We will accept it even if you murder us. I'm curious as to who killed the Alpha. Because we are aware that we are not the murderer!" While staring at the new Alpha, my father exclaimed.
"if you were not, then who could be?" The second Zeta mockingly inquired. I can tell they don't believe it. Is it more accurate to state that he wanted to believe it? Because my father would not be the first Zeta in this clan, he automatically replaced it, just as the Alpha did. My father responded, still staring at the Beta.
"Who do you think could have a huge benefit if the Alpha died?" Though our family has a compelling cause for murdering the Alpha, we both recognize that the Beta was an even stronger motivator. "Have you thoroughly examined this major crime? Or do you only pay attention to one person?" My father continued.
"I was there when the Alpha asked Killian to guard his daughter again since he was afraid that something bad would happen again while he was busy taking care of the dead Luna." The Zeta responded with a question.
I calmed down. I think I'll have to reveal my cover story. That was all I knew in order for them to trust me.
But, before I could say anything, I noticed Adriana approaching towards her father. She stared at me after whispering something. Although Adriana appeared to be pleading, the Beta shook his head in front of his daughter. Fuck! I'd rather be in this condition of punishment than with that woman. I was different. if my brother would be ok of being with someone he didn't like. I was not like him.
"yeah right so that's why you really love to be with Serena even if you hated her ever since her father made you to be her bodyguard"
I sigh. Zeon was absolutely correct. And I'm not sure I understand myself when it comes to Serena. I come to a halt when I recall my mate. If the Alpha was dead where is Serena now? Where could my princess be if the Alpha dies? What if she was the one who put the Alpha to death? My head shook. Even if it was her first time changing into a wolf, I know she was powerful enough not to harm an innocent person, let alone a her loved one.
"What if she is?"
"Fuck you, Zeon! Don't even consider it. If she did, I'll assume responsibility for her transgression. I don't want her to be tormented for the rest of her life."
"You are doomed then, Killian. You will perish. But I can't say I blame you. Wolves' strong sentiments for their mate were excessive, and it's even more so in your case. Can you believe the girl you'd hated your whole life still had a place in your heart, even though you didn't know she was your soul mate?"
They halt after another arrow pierces my body.
Since the new Alpha abruptly stood up, I believe there was something going on.
My father and I were brought back to the prison house after a brief moment. They mentioned the recent beta had to talk to someone for no apparent reason. But why do I have the impression that something is going on? I can sense it.
