I felt hot, too hot...

 

The thing that this old woman did to me and to my brother was kind of strange. The light that blinded my eyes for a moment suddenly jumped inside of us.

 

But the thing is, I couldn't just move to run. There's no way to run either. If we go back from where we came from, those monsters would surely be defeated eventually due to losing strength.

 

However, my power was gradually increasing, and I could feel the pain. The pain, I believe, was increasing with each passing minute.

 

"Good thing you'd share the agony of pouring power into me, so the proclivity to die would be low." So the power that I would give would not be reduced to just bringing you back to life like those previous royal soldiers. "

 

The old woman said

 

"Are you saying that the royal soldier is supposed to die by accepting the power?"

 

I managed to ask, though I was not feeling well due to the pain that I was feeling deep inside of me. I think even the soul inside of me felt the pain as well.

 

Kyzer was not rolling on the ground due to the pain while I was punching the wall of the cave. While we were in a life-or-death situation, the woman and the creature were just staring at us.

 

"Fuck! Why have you not told us that we would feel this kind of pain by bringing back the memory that I fucking lost? " Kyzer shouted

 

To defeat the hybrid, you have to endure this first. Maybe it will just be an hour or two. Let your body get used to the power before you can move as normal.

 

Damn it, if you have power like this, why don't you be the one who kills the person that you have to kill? "Since you were the ones who knew that person, because we didn't even know him or her."

 

I said while wincing in pain.

 

"If I could, I wouldn't wait for the royal soldier to do the job. I'll do it myself. But this power that came from my ancestor and to the last royal soldier that spontaneously went through my body after the last royal soldier died was sealed inside of mine until it sensed the next royal soldier. Time went by and I could see that the old woman was slowly vanishing in the thin air while the pain that I felt deep within was fading as well. Maybe I'm getting used to it or maybe my body is numb now.

 

"Remember this; the power that I poured into both of you had to be one at the right time to defeat the hybrid."

 

That was the last thing the old woman said before she was lost in my very eyes.

 

My attention is drawn to my palm because it glows and burns before it enters me. When I look at Kyzer, that was happening to him as well.

 

"What now? "Why did I feel my memory was not still coming back?" he asked.

 

"I don't know. That was my question too.

 

"Maybe we should have to defeat the damn hybrid first before anything else."

 

I nod.. 

 

"That's right, you have to defeat the hybrid first master before you go back to your normal life."

 

The creature who brought us here said I was surprised that she was still here. I thought that she was already gone, like the old woman earlier. And she was calling us masters?

 

"We are the Alipores of the Old Woman, a third-level witch." Now that our master is gone and her power goes to the both of you, it means you are our master now. "

 

"I think we have to come back from where we came from earlier." Kyzer said. I agree because there's no other way aside from turning back. Ignoring whatever this creature is saying

 

We went back, and when we were outside, the whole place was more messy than before we got inside.

 

"Damn, how long did we spend inside and this place turned into this?" Kyzer asked, because the monster earlier that this witch said they were Alipores added some different creature that I think was much worse because every wolf that they killed had been eaten by them as well.

 

"What kind of creature is this?" I utter

 

"Master, they were the real monsters." The monster that the old witches and her ancestor caught, they sealed it into the box where it's been made into a wall to block the way to the other side. Which means that the portal was already open and the hybrid was already outside of the world. We're late and we have to look for her outside. "

 

"What do you mean? That we have to spend how many times again just to search for that damn hybrid? "

 

I look at the creature beside me.

 

If we're lucky, then it would be hours. But if not, we would spend the whole life waiting for another royal soldier after you. "




"What! That won't be happening. What would happen? To my fucking life? That suddenly vanished from my memory! This is bullshit! "

 

The creature doesn't reply. Maybe she didn't know what to say next. When those monsters run to us, we are busy fighting. It's a good thing that I have a sword in me. While Kyzer uses what is in his waistband.

 

"Kyzer your back," a man said while still busy slashing his sword.

 

"Fuck you, I didn't know you didn't talk to me." Kyzer said and continued while I found out that there was a girl looking at me.

Who is that girl? Why does she look familiar?
