39_ plan

Kyzer
"What are you saying that there was a possibility that there was a way to get out of here?"
One of my friends asked I just reached our camp, yet I gathered all of them as quickly as possible. To talk about it and to save my family.
I nod and allow them to reveal the map that I snatched from the crimson blood pack's alpha. Yes, I despised him completely. But all I can think about now is pity for him and his family. I don't believe that all of the people in the underworld would be saved now that he was gone, because whoever succeeded him would never discover that there was a route out. But if I could make a deal with the next Alpha in exchange for this map, he might let my uncle and Killian go. Though I must make certain that everything is planned. Perhaps the next Crimson Blood Pack Alpha was even more self-centered than the previous one.
I have to drew a duplicate of the map in case the original is ever stolen.
"What was this meant? Kyzer? We must dive into the water falls to reach the center. Then we'll ascend into the first section, which the map describes as a snake-infested land. We had no idea what was there, or whether there was another tribe waiting to ambush us. "This is absurd."
I sigh. "Yes." However, there was no other option. But, friends, there's something I'd like to ask for from everyone of you first. Before I started, I took a deep breath. My twin brother and uncle were in danger. They were detained as a result of what I did. Luna of the Crimson Blood pack was slain by me. The news, however, was that the alpha had also been killed. But I don't know who did it. I take a breath. I was expecting them to scream in rage because I knew they intended to kill the alpha, but instead they scream in joy.
"You were saying that we didn't have to go through a bloody war just to kill the alpha?"
I smiled after exhaling some air.
"It sort of is, but if you would help me save my family, I guess it doesn't matter. You all have to go through war still."
Clode, my best friend, taps my shoulder. "Don't worry, though we were happy that we weren't going to war, it doesn't mean that we didn't want to go. Remember, this was a vast family. Your uncle and brother were also members of our family now. For how long did your uncle and we spend together. We witnessed how eager he was to exact vengeance on your family as well. We'd all come for the same reason. Buddy, one for all."
I swung my head from side to side. I didn't want to be emotional, therefore I never showed my vulnerable side to anyone except to my mother. But Clode is well known me very well. That's why he's grinning at me.
"Ehem, so what was the plan, your highness?" Clode mockingly inquired. Because of what I heard from them, my tone shifted from emotional to serious, yet I still smacked Clode square in the face. Though not to tough still he over reacting to it.
"Ouch! He inquired innocently,
"What was that for?" He ask innocently
"for calling me your highness. Yes I was the leader of this rogue group, yet I never thought to be a king."
My head shook. Nonetheless, I was grinning.
"Don't worry, Kyzer; we were created to fight. What I'm worried about is how we'll make it off of this place's main thoroughfare. In our group, there were a lot of ladies and children. Do you believe they'd be able to withstand the water's current? However, as I can see from the chart, if some of us live, there are two more falls into which we must plunge. Can we do anything about it?"
It was Sultan, one of my group's senior members. This dude adores kids. If he's thinking about them first, I can't blame him.
" Although it may be difficult, I believe we can still succeed. I'm not sure we'll all make it, but if each of us could carry one child, we could help them if they ran out of oxygen. Have you figured it out yet? All we needed to do was move together. We must assist one another as teammates. We would all die anyway if we didn't do it. This place has started to fall apart, as we all know. If we didn't make it to the top, we'd be buried alive. At the very least, we are fighting for our lives rather than standing there and doing nothing."
Sultan beams. "Good idea, Kyzer. So maybe all of the ladies and children taught themselves to hold their breath for too long while we were at war defending your family."
I smiled and nodded.
"The longer they could make it in the water, the better." I said. Because Sultan was one of our greatest trainers, I simply requested him to instruct all of the ladies and children. Actually, Sultan was one of my trainers when I was growing up much stronger and the last leader of us chose me, so I was in my position right now. I didn't want to accept it at first because I knew I wasn't the only one who was stronger in this pack, but the majority voted me as much stronger, and unlike other actual wolf packs, everyone here knows how to accept defeat. Even though we all came from different clans, we felt like a family here.
"Can we begin working on a plan to save your family? We both realize that the longer we stay here, the greater the risk to your uncle and brother's lives becomes." I give another nod.
"But first, I needed to reach an agreement with them. If they agree to release my uncle and brother in exchange for this map, I'll try again."
"What about us, though? Do you believe they would simply agree? What would happen if they lost Luna and the Alpha? That was a major transgression on their part."
When Sultan inquired, the entire crowd surrounded me agreed.
"I'll construct a duplicate of the map. Do not be concerned. They would have killed the Luna if they had known it was me and not my brother. After that, I'll explain why. I believe they would think about it. Otherwise, they would perish here forever. I wasn't the one who killed the Alpha, after all. I suppose I was helping them out. So they could track out their Alpha's true killer."
