"Tell me all I need to know. You don't have to keep everything hidden from me. I knew I was the one who could open the old palace. According to Erich, royal blood was the key to unlocking the ancient palace. And we're all aware that I do have that blood. I had blood that you didn't have for whatever reason. But believe me, every royalty in the land where I originate from has a blood color like mine. I'm not sure why your blood is different. But we all have the same goal in life. And it was to go away in this remote location, right? So tell me what you want me to do, and I'll gladly do it."
I stated unequivocally. Despite the fact that I know I should see my father first. But this is an emergency. This is something I must do as well.
I stare at Eros, who stoops his head.
What's the matter with him? My head shook. I don't have time to examine him, so I return my attention to Ricky and Lilith.
"You can rely on me. I swear if I saw the chart, all of us would be out of here differently." I give them a honest gaze. Because I was sincere.
"Serena, we were not going to force you. We can discover another solution." Even though Eros was still stopping his head, I couldn't see his face.
"Eros, you should shut up! We're both aware that we didn't have any backup plans or other options prior to this. Serena was the only option. Though she stated that all of their royal members have the same color of blood as her, we don't have time to seek the place where she originated from because we are all aware that we didn't know where that place was."
It was Erich, and as I looked into her eyes, I noticed she was pleading with me. I know she doesn't have to plead, because I was more eager to sneak inside the old palace to acquire the map.
"Serena, if I can get inside with you I promise that I will be behind you all the way in." Erich continued, still staring at me.
"I know you regard me as a weaker one, but I can promise you that I was more powerful than I appeared to be. Erich, if you wanted to come with me, and if you could, that would be ideal. But if I were the only one who could go in, I would do it without hesitation."
Ricky and Lilith gave me a relieved look. Maybe they were preparing to ask me about it since they found out about my blood, but like Eros mentioned, they weren't pressuring me. But I really want to do this. Nothing is more essential right now than this. If I could obtain the aforementioned map, I would be able to save not only my father, but also the entire Crimson blood pack.
And Killian... my pal... the man who has despised me since I can remember.
I expected to feel overjoyed now that I was finally one of Killian's most significant individuals. And I could have room in him without forcing him, as I did as a child.
"But what do you think about what would happen if you were not his mate?"
I couldn't believe how upset I was. Elena gets a yell from me.
"Shut up" I said, completely forgetting that I was speaking to Ricky's relatives. They were both taken aback and stared at me oddly.
I simply smile. "It's not your fault. My wolf had appeared." I said, but they stare at me strangely, as if I said something peculiar. Eros and Erich even look around to see if there is anything there.
My brow furrows. And inquire, "why are you look at me like that?" I was wondering that maybe they weren't believing because Elena wasn't showing up in front of everyone. Elena was simply chatting to me in my thoughts lately, and she wasn't showing up since first, we weren't inside our palace, and second, Elena wasn't used to presenting herself to anyone.
"Elena show your self so I won't be look like stupid here." I said in hushed tones.
"Why would I do that? I don't want to offer them anything that would assist them figure out how powerful you were."
Elena stated
"Elena, only once. Have you noticed them? They were staring at me as if I were telling them something out of this world."
I stated I was frustrated, but I only said that in my brain.
"Why, of course, don't they have a wolf like you? Do they have wolf blood?" Elena's words drew my attention to Erich.
"Serena, are you all right? Perhaps you should relax for the time being, and we'll chat again tomorrow."
I smile. And then I nod. But, before I walk through the door, I inquire.
"I hope you weren't thinking I was a moron or something. I was just talking to my wolf, and I'm assuming you have a wolf in you as well. So I guess you get what I'm saying. Sometimes my wolf was stubborn, and we fought over nothing."
Lilith took a step closer to me and said.
"Serena, we don't comprehend what you're saying. But I suppose you were unique because you were a pure-blooded wolf. So, is the wolf you mentioned inside your head talking to you or something?"
I was completely perplexed. What did Lilith say? Do they not have a wolf inside because they are half wolves?
Elena suddenly appeared next to me and presented herself to anyone. To back me up. Maybe she senses that I'm at a loss for what to do. Elena will show up even if it is against her will.
Everyone in the family was visibly taken aback.
I'm not sure why they were so taken aback, as if it was the first time they'd seen a wolf like Elena. Isn't it true that they were also wolves? So, why weren't they accustomed to Elena's presence?
