Third Pov
All of the Crimson Blood packs gather near to the falls as the Alpha asks. He first speaks with the soldier.
"You assert that the rogues blocked the water's entrance before it drained, making it simple for them to cross the opening and flee. Water comes back, but why? Are you kidding me?"
The soldier shrugged, "No, Your Highness, I'm telling the truth. Many of us were present when those rogues did the job. But no matter how long it took for the water to come back, the gap beneath the waterfall didn't last since the rogues had covered the falls. It still has an end. Perhaps the water's force was so enormous that the boulder they had erected to block the waterfall's water flow could no longer sustain it and eventually cracked.
The soldier provided a comprehensive explanation, which the Alpha quickly grasped.
*******
Killian
I tried to get into a position where I could see the people I wanted to see from a distance and make sure the voice I heard was Serena's and not just my imagination.
When I first looked up, I saw a man standing with his back to me. Maybe that was the voice of the man I had heard just a while ago. There were two girls there, and they were struggling against the man's firm hold on them. I'm not sure why, but it's obvious that by running away, they made the man's life much more difficult. It could imply that the man has a power that I am not aware of, therefore I should more extra caution. Suddenly, the man takes the girl hand in his right opposite with his other hand.
The girl on the left, who had long red hair, had wide open eyes and seemed as like she was in terror at what the man had done in front of her. The air then abruptly began to smell like blood. I'm still hiding away, waiting for the right moment to see the other girl's face, to put it simply. I then moved into the opposite area and hid in the opposite tree as the man pushed the girl's hand, who was still hidden by the old man's shadow, dangerously close to the disturbing palace's door. I could see the woman's features because Serena's aroma overpowered my sense of smell. I hoped that the woman I was spying on was Serena even though I knew she couldn't and impossible to have entered this part of under ground.
I noticed the girl wince. I heard a loud creaking sound from the palace door as it readied to open, then saw it slowly open. When the three shadowy individuals entered the palace, I cast a quick glance in her direction, hoping to see a right angle of Serena, but I wasn't sure if I had really seen her now. I'm still wondering how she got to this location. I murmured something in the air as they came in.
"Run, Killian!" I start to freak out when I hear my inner wolf howling. I raced as quickly as I could to avoid being left outdoors as the door where I saw Serena enter was now slowly closing.
"Yes, we saw Serena, was it not?" I probed the wolf.
"I don't know for sure, but I remember seeing her face. The woman we saw was definitely the woman we saw if we weren't dreaming. However, we are unsure because we were in a different location."
There's one way to find out Killian. I complained and jumped on the door as it was about to close after saying. I reasoned that whatever happened after that was OK and that I would cross the bridge when I get there.
It's like I have been going into the middle of the sun because of the light beam. They weren't enough because my eyes itched. I don't know how long I will stay closing my eyes, but when I do open my eyes again, a huge palace welcomes me. These are dwarfed tenfold by the palace of the Crimson Black Pack. Many of the things inside are even beyond my understanding. I didn't look though, because I needed to find Serena first. However, the brightness of this palace was its most appealing feature. more brilliant than the palace I once was a thousand times. The palace's numerous circles and other fine details allowed light to pass through. I have the odd sense that I'm living in a palace in my dreams. I have no idea how this situation came to be, but after I save my princess, I might have some ideas.
"In this room, I last witnessed her being punished by multiple witches. She was forced into being placed in a casket, which I saw."
As soon as I heard the speech, I immediately ran beneath the big vase next to me. I recognized the voice as belonging to the geriatric man from before. However, I hardly recognized the woman who spoke in the other voice as Serena. It sounded delicate and airy. Maybe because of the distance between us and the location's higher vocal tone, she sounds clearer now. In order to reassure her that everything would be well, I wanted to run through her as quickly as possible. But to my annoy, I couldn't do that.
I had the feeling that I was a jail escapee running from a soldier in the palace, but as I've already mentioned, I'm not giving up. If Serena was there, she was undoubtedly afraid. By now, she's probably asking herself, "Where am I?"
I didn't understand what the man was talking about. But I must wait for the right time before I can save my princess.
Since it is so bright in here, I can see all of their features when I turn to face them.
The old man wasn't very old, but his hair was white. His grin made it clear to everyone that he wasn't a good person. That heightened my desire to save my princess.
