The dragon tamer

Garcia's POV
I knew I had to do this, I knew I had to do the unthinkable, but I never knew that I'll be this brave to go ahead and do it, my heart was beating so fast, many thoughts ran through my mind and I knew for sure that things won't end up the way I had wanted them to.
I noticed the scales on his body and the way he was groaning, I came to realize that he was experiencing a lot at that time, I can't help but feel insecure for a moment, I wanted to say something, but nothing was brave enough to escape my lips so the only alternative at the moment was about to kiss his lips like a starved lady. I wanted to calm him down so badly, but it was like it only made things worse.
Because when I managed to wrap my hands around his neck, trying to bring him closer, I felt his body getting hotter and his eyes seems a little bit distant.
He groaned so loudly, it was more like it was pure torture for him, then he managed to roughly remove my hands around his neck and he was about to fly out of the room, but before he could leave, I managed to stop him, I don't want him to leave.
I want him close to me, " please don't leave me, I want you by my side." I found myself pleading, which was very rare because I didn't even know him that much, yet I enjoy every bit of his company.
" Please just stay with me, I beg of you" I begged again.
Then I noticed how he softened for a moment, he was standing just inches away from me, then he managed to look me in the eyes.
" I...I have to leave because I don't want to harm you" he said before he flew away, but I held unto his hand so tightly, I don't want to leave him because it was more like I feel so safe around him like I just can't let go even if I wanted to and it sucks.
" You have to let him go" I heard a feminine voice, I turned around to see who it was, then Adrian used that opportunity to fly away through the window, making me feel betrayed in some weird way, I fought the urge not to let the tear that was threatening to pave it's way down my cheeks.
I felt so downcast in some sought of way, I don't know what to do, I tried so hard to ignore the feeling, but I can't, I kept thinking about what we shared these few days.
" Why did you have to distract me " I half-yelled at the woman who was standing beside the door.
My jaws dropped as o sighted a young woman, who seemed to be in her early twenties, she has the perfect jawline, matching with out-of-the-world beauty. Her beautiful blue eyes were alluring enough, matching with jet-black hair.
" Can you close your mouth now?" She requested. Immediately my cheeks turned red, I was so embarrassed, but it was worth it, it didn't bother me that much because I knew at that time I couldn't care any less, because she was so beautiful, especially with the classy purple rope she was wearing.
Purple rope? Now that I thought about it, isn't it supposed that only the king and the queen are allowed to wear a purple rope?
"I'm sorry her Majesty, I didn't know it was you...my...my sincere apology" I found myself stuttering, I fought the urge to facepalm myself, like what was I even thinking, I can't help but wonder why I always have to end up embarrassing myself the way I did.
I drew in a deep breath while keeping my face low, now I'm just waiting for the wrath from the queen, because I know Adrian brought me here without anyone knowing in the palace, so I can't do anything to implicate him.
I felt myself stiffen when she managed to come close to me and then she patted my back lightly.
" Why did you do that?" I asked surprised.
"Because you are the person we have been waiting for all along," she told me.
I was confused at first, at the reason why she said that in the first place, I can't help but feel even more confused as time goes on.
"Why did you say that?" I asked slightly confused. Immediately her once stern expression changed and she stared at me, her eyes burned and her cold eyes softened for a moment.
" Come here" she urged me towards Adrian's bed, I was skeptical at first because I didn't know how, so I hesitantly started walking towards the bed. I noticed the smile she plastered on her face, the smile was very friendly, it was not mischievous or sinister, to make me suspect her.
Then she surprised me when she dropped a bombshell, " you don't need to worry because Adrian is my son" she told me. Making me stiffer for a moment.
"Ad... Adrian is a prince?" I asked horrified.
She smiled, and I noticed how she became teary for a moment as we both sat down on the bed. I managed to take a whiff of her scent, it was the mixture of both lavender oil and fresh lemon, it was a nice smell, and I had to fight the urge to close my eyes. I can't help but what type of products they use here.
"I have something to tell you," she said, bringing me out of my stupor.
" Yes my lady" I waited for what she had to say while looking down, then I noticed an expensive golden ring on her index finger, I gasped because I Have never seen real gold before, I knew how gold is super expensive in my pack, so I don't know that real gold even exists in the first place.
"Garcia... Garcia?" She called my name twice, removing me from my deep gaze at the expensive golden ring, that was shoved into her finger.
" What have you been thinking about?" She asked me. I drew in a deep breath and managed to calm myself down, then I looked into her eyes while waiting for her to speak.
" I'm very sorry my lady, I was caught up, thinking about some things, sorry..." I apologized sincerely, which made her smile, as she gently placed her hand on my cheeks which caught me off guard, I was not expecting that.
Then I noticed hot tears in her eyes. " What's wrong?" I asked her, already feeling her pain.
She surprised me even more when she gently wrapped her hands around me, bringing me closer to her, as she slowly starts sobbing, which was a great surprise to me.
" What's the matter?" I asked again.
" I have waited for you for so long, you don't know how long I wished you came sooner, but that doesn't matter you are new here," she told me.
Now I'm so confused and I'm tired of how she was beating around the bush, she was not telling me why she was acting that way.
"My lady you are confusing me," I said, then she slowly let go of me and slowly wiped her tears, she stood up and then she went towards the window, where she stood there without saying a word, she kept thinking for a moment, I can't help feel insecure, I tried so hard to keep calm, hoping that she would tell me what she meant by that.
She slowly turned to look at me, as her jet-black hair fell in waves, making her look even more beautiful than ever, her eyes scanned me for a moment, and I drew in a deep breath while trying to calm my nerves.
I hope that things would go the way I wished they could, but then I recalled how the enemy destroyed my pack without mercy, I almost had the urge to cry, I had to suppress the burning tears that were threatening to escape my eyes.
I drew in a deep breath before she came closer to me again and then she started narrating how things started for her.
" I am Lorena, the queen of the dragon kingdom and..." Her voice croaked.
"And?" I asked curiously.
" I have always wished that my son was better, I have always wanted to be better in whatever I do, not knowing that it'll lead my son into the mess he is right now," she cried.
I furrowed my brows, I can't comprehend what she means that Adrian was in a mess, I didn't see anything wrong with him.
" Why did you say that?" I asked, hoping to calm my nerves, as I recalled how sexy he is when he jhethesinches away from me, thinking about him, made my cheeks burn.
Then she drew in a deep breath before she held my hand and said.
" You are the dragon tamer"
I was surprised. " Dragon tamer?" I asked, what does that even mean?
